We happen to be in Everett and we're looking for a decent Indian restaurant to eat at. We entered based on the positive reviews. The service was initially courteous and hospitable. The ambience is minimalistic and nothing to write home about. We ordered mimosas, which was crispy and tasty and the chai was hot and delicious.. however, the main course was a disappointment. The Harli chicken as well as the tandoori chicken that we ordered lacked flavor. The Meti paneer was good, but not great. I happen to visit the restroom and so paper tissue strewn all around. It was a bit of a turn off. At the end of the meal we had to chase down our waiter for the bill. Keeping in mind all these factors, I would not recommend this restaurant and would advise to get your Indian fix somewhere else. read more

My go to place for biryani Momi Indian kitchen recently closed and moved to Seattle so I was on lookout for a new place here up north. I came across Hello India and got their Chowrasta Chicken 65 Biryani. This was an amazing biryani with sufficient quantity. It also had a bone in chicken piece (which I'm not sure if it's expected or not) in addition to the creamy chicken 65 Biryani. The rice and chicken were both flavorful and the quantity is enough for 2x times. I did find it a bit on the pricier side with regular pack cost of $20.87 after tax. I hope they keep the size of the biryani the same and look at reducing the price to be competitive with other places around. Overall a must try and will likely repeat. read more

Different flavors offered in addition to the staples - the mild level of spice was still very spicy! Next time I'll opt for the child mild level of spice. My friends had the Chicken Tikka Masala and I had the pepper shrimp dish and the Palak Paneer - everything had good texture and savory flavor. I have been a regular customer here ever since it's opened. Unlike other Indian places, this is tucked away in an area which is not busy. They specialized on South Indian delicacies. The food is always great here. Variety of options on their menu. Appetizers and curries are delicious. They do have a limited tiffin option as well. I have tried almost all their biriyani options. Extremely happy with the food I must say. I have dined in here with family, friends and colleagues. Ambiance is really cool. Sometimes the wait time is long especially during weekends. The staffs are very friendly. But only challenge is - they are understaffed; noticed on many occasions that they were not able to manage everything when this place is packed. Came in right before closing at lunch time and the staff was kind enough to let me in. I ordered Garlic Naan bread, butter chicken and basmati rice. The server brought out a basket of utensils, napkins and a bottled water. The butter chicken was flavorful, not salty. Garlic naan was plenty. New restaurant in the area that was both clean and decent looking. The service was a bit slow but that is expected since they are new and still getting into the rythm. We tried their dosa, chicken curry and bread. The dosa was good but the condiments were stale and sour. The curry was too spicy for a mild curry that we had initially requested for. The bread was stale and had been clearly reheated. It's sad to the think that the owners of this restaurant can pass off stale food to their diners. We ended up feeling sick soon after. We stopped by for lunch there today(Friday around noon). We ordered the chicken tikka, chicken kurma, and garlic naan. The food was exceptional! Came out hot and noticeably more fresh than other spots we have been to. The sauces had so many fresh herbs that you could see and taste. Truly delicious. Friendly service. DOSA! (but also lots more) I had the joy of meeting this family restaurant and also watching how smoothly the kitchen was run, despite constant to-go orders and several tables of guests. When my dosa came -- it was special. Made of all-ghee, it tasted pure, light. Paper thin and crispy, not overdone, just as I asked, with moist, spicy-spiced aloo, and artfully-made sauces and sambar for dipping -- recipes made with distinct ingredients, different than other places. The decor is suprisingly elegant for a quiet, newer shopping center strip -- and this really added to the experience, so I'll share, the elegant lighting fixtures and colors, rich wood walls and peaceful imagery on the large-screen monitor made for a perfect date night, with myself. The guest next to my table was a chef who had hand-crafted meals at Boeing (for hundreds of Indian employees), many years; he was trying Hello India for the first time tonight (he ordered Butter Chicken). Very disappointing experience. I ordered idli early this morning from Hello India, and unfortunately we found a fly in the sambar. This is extremely unhygienic and unacceptable, especially for a restaurant serving food to customers. Cleanliness and food safety should be a basic standard. Visited Hello India multiple times and tried almost everything on their menu. Our most favorite dishes are their Chicken Pakora and Chicken Dum Biriyani. Not many restaurants in the area serve Dosas. Hello India has Dosas including Rava Dosas which is great. If you are a dosa or idly fan, then this is the place. They are exactly like what you get in Tamilnadu. The service is great and very friendly staff. The ambiance is family friendly with plenty of seating. We have placed several catering orders here and received plenty of positive feedback from our guests. Glad to have a great Indian restaurant in the Everett area that serves good food with friendly staff. Will continue to visit them. read more

We attended an event catered by Hello India in Everett, where vegetarian food was explicitly ordered. Shockingly, we were served non-veg biryani instead. As a strict vegetarian, this is beyond unacceptable. I am deeply disturbed that my plate was contaminated by meat, and this feels like a total violation of trust and belief. I am outraged and cannot express how upsetting this was. I would never, ever recommend this place to anyone who values vegetarian integrity.This incident showed a complete disregard for dietary restrictions and was profoundly disrespectful. Not been to an Indian restaurant in many years but this one opened up by our office so I stopped in with 3 other coworkers for lunch. The atmosphere was nice but left over from the previous ownership as a Vietnamese restaurant, nothing had changed. The waiter was polite and helpful, but the service was extremely slow. It was 30 minutes waiting just to take our order and another to get food even though there were 3 people in the kitchen. They served bottled Safeway water to drink, in the bottle, no ice, no glass. The bowls and plates were chipped and the silverware was all miss matched and really cheap, like they purchased it bulk from Goodwill. Ordered 4 dishes and all were quite tasty and we would eat it again, with one exception. The Butter Chicken was NOT good. Considering Butter Chicken is "the" dish to try, it was bland and almost tasteless, and COLD. Very disappointing and we hardly touched it. There are several other Indian restaurants in the area and we will try them next time instead. read more

This restaurant is literally a 3rd new Indian restaurant in the area recently. We tried the place - its got a quite welcoming vibe with the decor, unfortunately I cannot say the same for their service though, reached there around 9.15pm, they close at 10 so we thought we could quickly grab a bite, Server comes up and says that their kitchen closes at 9.30 so we have 15 minutes to place our order - fine understood, so we place our order at 9.20pm and our food arrives after a whopping wait window of 25 minutes at 9.45(in an almost empty restaurant with hardly one other table besides ours) which IMO was a long time if their kitchen closes at 9.30 - not sure if they were backlogged, may be! It felt very disappointing that they would rush for us to order when they are really not going to get the food out that quick! Coming to the food - we had their Mysore Masala Dosa and Chicken Lollipop (which in my husband's opinion was better than what he has had in India) both of which blew our minds because it was delicious so kudos to the Chef! I really hope they get better in terms of Service! They are super new so hopefully they take these reviews and implement some changes. read more

Biryani was very good and flavorful, Quantity was generous for a regular pack compared to other restaurants around, kuddos to that! Karampodi chicken was tasty and fresh Fried rice was okayish!
