I used to come here regularly, and I really liked this place. Unfortunately, things have gone downhill significantly. The food has become worse, the tablecloth was dirty, and the staff seemed to have very little understanding of proper customer service. The girls at the front were continuously talking among themselves instead of paying attention to customers, and the overall service was disappointing. Most importantly, the food was very bad compared with what it used to be. This restaurant feels very old and poorly maintained now. In my opinion, the owner should either step away, sell the restaurant, or bring in someone who can properly manage and improve it. I would not recommend coming here again. There are better places where you can spend your time and money and actually enjoy your meal. I hope the owner takes this feedback seriously and makes some major changes. read more

Yummy! This is one of our go-to Uber Eats dinner spots. My best friend loves curries and kormas so on weekends in we order a feast from them. The naan is generous in portion as are the curries. We have ordered the tikka masala (chicken/shrimp), korma (chicken/shrimp), and saag paneer on many occasions. The curry here is amazing! The ingredient are obviously high quality, however, not a lot of protein for the price. They do lean towards the spicier side of their spice ratings, which we really liked. Not returning here. I ordered Somosas. They came within 30 seconds. They were reheated in the microwave. Then, came the tasteless chicken tikka. C'mon. It's Indian food. How can it be tasteless. I ordered food to be delivered so I can't say anything about indoor dining with them but for takeout... Wow! I just have to say I'm super impressed with how much they fill up those to-go containers. Mine were pretty much overflowing and after serving myself one plate it still looks like the containers with the curry are full. This place is definitely a good deal with the portions but also the pricing. I definitely was able to order a little extra compared to other Indian places that eat at because the pricing was good. I have been eating at curries for like 10 years (they used to be in a super small space off casino road). The first time I ate here the owner was so warm and sweet, and the food was amazing. Years later and I have introduced many people and reccomended any chance I can. They do not hold back on flavor , everything is always perfectly seasoned. There's such a great variety of dishes to try though my personal favorite is the methi malai mutter (peas in fenugreek sauce). Curries has become a staple of my life. When I am sick, or especially when I am feeling down their food brings me so much joy and makes me happy even when I'm not feeling great. This place is incredible! Do yourself a favor and order the garlic naan. I'm actually rationing it day by day.... The service was fantastic. A waiter heard us asking questions and came to help and give us suggestions. We started with the lamb kebab. My son has many Indian friends/coworkers and has eaten out with them many times. He said these were the best item he had ever eaten at any Indian restaurant. The butter chicken was creamy and delicious. Definitely would recommend! This place never disappoints. Been coming here for years and the food has stayed on par. I love that the vegan options are marked on the menu which helps me navigate easier. They will also ask a spice level. As someone who loves spicy food a level 4 here is really just right. It'll burn but not so much you I can't taste the food. My husband doesn't do spice so he'll normally ask for a 1. The service is always fast and friendly. They always listen to your needs. Seating inside is limited, but the wait is never too long. I will say Fridays around 5:30/6ish is when everyone starts to show up, as they open at 5. The prices are really decent compared to most places these days. They also accommodate to kids which is so appreciated. Some of my faves are the cauliflower Manchurian, aloo gobi, veggie pakoras (not gluten free) and the Indian salad is large but for a great price. read more

Traveled to Everett to try a highly reviewed Indian lunch buffet. It was a great experience overall. The only drawback for me, was that some of the dishes were uncomfortably spicy for me. As you enter, you can see the lunch buffet and the cooks preparing more food in the back. Like the open window into the kitchen. You can choose a menu or the buffet. The restaurant was well staffed, with three friendly gentlemen. They kept the water glasses filled, removed used plates and replenished the buffet. The restaurant is decorated with Indian artwork inside. The bathroom was clean. One detail about the customers, about half appeared to be of African origin. Unlike myself, they relished the more spicy dishes with heat. I started with a mango lassi, that was the right degree of sweetness. It also helped calm my tingling tongue. I filled my plate with these classic Indian dishes: Pakora Dal Raitia Watermelon Naan Chutney Chicken Karachi Aloo with peas Butter chicken Tandoori chicken Rice Salad with fresh lettuce and tomatoes. I enjoyed all of this. I would like to come back and ask for a lower spice level for myself. The spice level is authentic for Indian cooking. I personally have a lower spice tolerance, because of digestion issues. This has no issue on my rating. I thought the food was excellent; in fact it tasted so good I kept eating it even though I knew it would cause difficulties later. Recommend coming here to taste great food. read more

I ordered from Curries on DoorDash to give it a try as I've been looking for a great authentic Indian restaurant with spicy curries. I ordered the lamb vindaloo **extra spicy (Indian spicy) and the tikka masala **extra spicy (Indian spicy) with the garlic naan. The food was amazingly still hot when I received it, the garlic naan was thin but flavorful, and both curries were incredibly spicy - I was sweating so much I loved it. Be careful if you do get the Indian spicy though because the last thing you'd want to do is accidentally rub your eyes after touching the curry with your fingers! No comments on service or ambiance as I only ordered to-go from food delivery services, but I'll have to come in sometime in-person to see for myself who the great chefs are! read more

Love this place for their small but scrumptious buffet! They serve it everyday for $18.99 and weekends have multiple dessert options including kulfi! The servers brought fresh warm naan to our table which was unexpected. They don't have a super wide variety but the foods quality is so good that I would prefer this over another place that compromises on quality. Should have taken out food from here 5-6 times in that last one year. Loved the flavor of the food here. Felt authentic. Loved their Malai kofta and paneer curries. You must adjust the spice levels while ordering. Once I ordered a spicy tikka masala and it turned out to be really spicy. I keep my spice levels up for chicken & kind of mildish for the Paneer curries. This place has never disappointed me. The service is always great. They are very friendly; sometimes I wait outside in my car for the food to be ready. They always come out and tell me that it's ready. Location is quite convenient. Limited parking spots. We stopped for a late lunch on a recent Thursday. Not the best experience. We ordered à la carte but my strong suspicion is that they served us out of the buffet trays, as the food was mostly overcooked and dry. Our server seemed bored and maybe a little hostile; he certainly made no attempt to be pleasant or engaging. He didn't write our order down, and brought me the wrong dish: Tandoori chicken instead of the requested Tandoori platter, which was supposed to include chicken and lamb kebabs. (I checked later: "kebab" means roasted on a skewer, but there were no skewers in evidence, just a light smear of red sauce that couldn't overcome the dryness.) Hilariously, he set all of our dishes in front of me, leaving me the task of passing my wife's over to her. But when the bill came, he set it in front of her! We could only laugh. Giving credit where due: the portions were generous and my wife thought her curry was great (not spicy enough for me). The young lady who helped with service was very courteous and sweet. For Puget Sound, this is a pretty stellar Indian restaurant. They have chicken methi, which is hella popular in New Zealand, but nearly impossible to find in the US. Their version is basically korma with methi (fenugreek) which is not the traditional preparation, but still very good. No dine in, only take out, so that's a bummer because it's so far away, and I don't want my food to be cold by the time I get home.... but I will definitely be back because it's probably the best Indian place in the puget sound. read more

We love the food from Curries. We often do pick up for weekend dinners and their food never disappoints. However, during buffet I have felt the food is not hot, it's usually room temperature. The ambience is simple and nice, the place is very clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's quiet a popular place and gets filled up quickly. The buffet had 3 vegetarian dishes - karahi paneer, chana masala and dal makhani. And 3 non-veg dishes tandoori chicken, chicken korma and butter chicken. Salad, veg pakora with chutneys, mango mousse with fresh fruits, white rice and plain naan were also part of the buffet.
