Omelette was good. Packed with mushroom, onions, and tomatoes like I requested, but I was really looking forward to the cilantro pesto to taste a lot like cilantro, but it fell flat and tasted more like oil. Other than that, the service was fine and the atmosphere was nice. read more

First time here and I was pleasantly surprised on how delicious the food was this morning. Super friendly and fast service. The young lady offered up their specials of the day and on her recommendation, I tried it out. It was very tasty chorizo n bacon omelet with mozzarella cheese, home style potatoes in a "cup". She brought their special hot sauce out to add heat if desired and it did not disappoint! I added a strawberry wheat pancake to sweeten my disposition, it too was BIG, so I was able to bring half of each home...yummy leftovers! read more

Incredible. From the warm welcome at host stand through the meal. What a treat for the eyes - adorable setting, aesthetically calming despite busy environment. For the ears - fantastic soundtrack! For the nose - smells of rich coffee, bacon, pancakes and the tummy! Lol, flavors of imported chorizo, bold coffee, tender and fluffy pancakes. Dining tip: go for the French press. 6 cups of full bodied, deep coffee with velvet finish. Dining tip #2: they have an egg chef I'm sure of it! Perfectly prepared and presented, perfect. We were very disappointed in pretty much every aspect of our meal here. It wasn't too crowded when we were seated. We were a party of two and ordered breakfast and waited as people in larger groups who came in after us were served their meals. We kept waiting for our food. Eventually, the omelet and eggs Benedict on avocado came out. We were not surprised that our food was cold. The eggs Benedict on avocado was supposed to include an entire avocado, but it probably had half of one. This is because they had to cut away much of the avocado before serving it, as it had brown and black spots on the portion that was served. When we said something about how long we had to wait to our server, she basically shrugged it off. The food tasted bad. We will not come back here or recommend it. The atmosphere is casual. The menu is probably more Mexican-leaning but is creative and covers multiple cuisines (American, Californian, Italian, Hawaiian, etc.), with classics like a patty melt, a create-your-own omelet with a pretty big list of ingredient options, a lobster benedict, and a shrimp burger, plus some very interesting barista drinks like a coffee/lemonade mix (which D.C. had to try and thoroughly enjoyed). Multiple things sounded appealing but it was a chilaquiles day for both of us. We both ordered ours Christmas (green & red sauce) and added sides of chorizo. The chilaquiles could have used more sauce -- I like it saucy, especially when the chips can hold up, which these would -- but were delicious. The chorizo (imported from Spain!) was excellent. I also enjoyed my Bombis Coffee (condensed milk & espresso), though found it slightly odd to be served a hot drink in a champagne glass. It looked like a long wait when we arrived but we waited less than 10 minutes for a table; the place is bigger than it looks. Our food came out very quickly and service was on point. Would go back. Bonus that there's an Angel View across the street and I scored a few good finds. Brunch + thrifting always makes for a splendid morning. read more

This is a cute little cafe located in a shopping center. Blink and you'll miss it. This place was recommended to my friend and I so we gave it a go. They have great menu options is the only nice thing I can say though :( The server/waitress that took our order simply just did only that. We NEVER saw her again. We had to flag down others for coffee, or anything else we wanted. It was awful and the food was just ok. Maybe we would have enjoyed our meal under other circumstances, but the service was abominable. I know people have off days, but I informed another staff of the situation and he was even surprised. He ended up helping us, including getting us our check. I told him not to send our original server over because I'd had enough. I don't his name, but he "saved the day"! He was too kind. As we left, I saw him speaking to our original server. I couldn't wait to leave! I was pretty disgusted. Let me put this simply... you know the service is bad when your customer refuses to leave a tip! Do better people! Seriously! read more

We came here today for a relaxed brunch. We sat in there welcoming patio and had immediate service. The waitress was very kind and helpful. I ordered two small grilled shrimp tacos. The sauce inside the tacos is delicious. Lemony and with a touch of spice. Cabbage and nice amount of pico de gallo. My hubby wanted to order everything on their menu but decided on uevos rancheros. He loved it. He ordered a couple of pancakes and we shared a Cranberry mimosa. The food was incredible. Service excellent and prices are good. Definitely our new to go place. read more

Stopped by this place on our way home from Coachella. Cute, open, casual space to hang with some friends. They have outdoor & indoor seating, and servers were friendly + quite quick with orders. Food was nothing crazy. I got the omelet and green juice. The omelet was cooked harder (not the soft kind you'd expect). The green juice felt refreshing and has bit of the vegetable in it, if you're into that. Overall nice spot for a casual meal while passing by! read more

The alliteration brought me here. The cool vibe, decent enough food & nice service kept me there. ITEM'S ORDERED: Chilaquiles Shrimp Frittata Blood Mary TASTE: Both dishes tasted fine enough, but I do think they could have used more flavor overall. I did not notice (until now) the Chilaquiles comes with either red or green sauce. They just gave me red sauce & I think getting both sauces would have made the dish much better. I'm a big fan of queso fresco & the salt flavor it brings so I enjoyed how they gave a good amount of it. The portion was quite large & with the over hard egg on top of it all, the dish stayed quite hot. The chips were thicker & able to hold up in the dish. I'd actually get this again but would need a well made salsa to go with it. The Shrimp Frittata is definitely one of the nicer brunch dishes I've seen. It's not the usual frittata & basicallyround shaped scrambled eggs on top of potatoes. The shrimp were decent sized & seemed fresh. The dish looks really flavorful as it sits in the red chipotle tomato sauce, but I do think it could use more seasoning, since tasted too "light" in the chipotle aspect & more heavy in just tomato. Overall both dishes for me could have been improved with some more aggressively flavored sauces. Something to bring more savory & heat. But thats for my palate, I could see many people enjoying these as is. The Bloody Mary was alright. I've had better but also worse for sure. It was strong in the alcohol aspect which I of course enjoyed. I do like my Bloody Mary more spicy so I added some extra Tabasco & black pepper. It could have used some horseradish as well. SERVICE: They were very busy on a Sunday afternoon on Labor Day weekend. I think me & the gf had to wait maybe 30 min for a table. As soon as I pulled up I saw many parties waiting for tables. The host was very kind & our server was fine as well. I did notice that if you didn't mind sitting outside you could get a table right away, just FYI. But no way I wanted to eat in 110 degree weather even if there was shade. Also, I'm pretty sure this place does not take reservations, but I could be wrong. LOCATION & PARKING The interior is very "cute" with the mirrors on the wall, cup clock & other design elements. There's a fair amount of tables inside, more than you'd think from looking at the place from outside. & there's maybe even more tables available outside. They are located off Country Club drive in a plaza with lots of available parking. I liked the design of the place & I'd like to try something else out here so I'm open to coming back. My fiancé and I were in the area this week and found this place for brunch on our way out. It would've been 5 stars but the person who greeted us seemed a little rude. He asked if we wanted inside or outside and I said It doesn't matter and he looked at my fiancé for an answer and he also said doesn't matter then looked at us both and questioned again with a like" well which is it????" Attitude when literally it didn't matter... we both walked away looking at each other like that was kinda rude right? Aside from that our server was amazing! She was so nice and friendly, quick to check on us and had great recommendations! She suggest my fiancé tried the breakfast item they're known for, I forgot what it was called? But I have a photo! It came served in a frying pan and it was so cute! The steak he added to it was phenomenal!! I got the class bennedict. I've been to Cups in the past and it was a safe bet. Some things have changed though, can't put my finger on what. I stopped by today and had a very bad experience. Service was fine, they weren't too busy but I only saw my waitress twice in the span of 30 minutes. I ordered a patty melt with potato wedges, the patty melt was served on sourdough when traditionally it's on to be served on rye bread. There were hardly any onions in my patty melt, not sure if they're understanding of the concept. The other person at my table ordered the Mexican Benedict with a side of beans. But it was delivered with a side of potatoes which were very hard to eat as they were nearly raw still, a fork would not cut through these potatoes. I asked for my check and went elsewhere. I hope that they're able to enhance the food experiences others are having as I will likely not be returning for a while. The ambiance was fine, nice outdoor seating and cute decorations on the inside. read more
