Side of two eggs scrambled, side avocado and fruit cup
Jen H.

Great breakfast spot in palm desert close to the 10! We've visited two different years during Coachella weekends and both times were great. They know caffeine! Their cold brew and cappuccinos are fabulous and I ordered the brewed ice tea which was fresh and much needed. For breakfast we order the French Toast, side of scrambled eggs, avocado and fruit cup. Everything was really yummy! French toast was great but a little thick and wish it was slightly thinner so all the bread in the middle was touched by custard. Fruit was fresh and avocado was perfect. Lots of butter in the eggs but I wasn't upset! Service is fast and friendly. They have indoor seating that is super cute and the outdoor for when it's nice out.

Good food. Service could be better-- but I will return and give it another shot! The Lox and Bagels was on point and so was the specialty coffees!

I am sooooo thankful i went to cups cafe!!!!! Best place ever!!!!! To start off the restaurant is adorable, they have an outdoor seating area as well. Our servers were FANTASTIC! They were so nice and very attentive. The food was out of this world!!!!!! We decided to get a breakfast sandwich, ahi poke tostadas and the chile relleno special wow wow wow!!!!! For drinks we got some green juice and rusa! What an amazing place! Can't wait to go back!

Huevos rancheros

Mexican inspired breakfast, brunch, lunch spot. I was told the most popular item was the Chilaquiles so I ordered that. It was fine, but nothing amazing. It had more tortilla chips than anything else. My husband got the huevos rancheros that was better than the Chilaquiles. We also shared the zucchini pancakes. They were good but a little undercooked. It would've been nice if they served it with real maple syrup, but I could tell it was a cheap syrup. The cappuccino was just OK. The coffee quality was not great. Overall, it was an average experience.

Pumpkin Concha

The food was so gooooooood! I don't usually like conchas but it was bomb with the cream filling, not too sweet. The chilaquiles was one of the best I've had in a while. The crab Benedict was super soft and wasn't too wet or moist. The yolk wasn't too runny. Service 10/10 very friendly & kind! We were greeted by all the staff walking in. Ambiance was comforting, and we liked the nice touches of cups all around the restaurant. I will definitely be returning here for breakfast!

Came here for brunch and it was SO good. I had crème brûlée French toast.with blueberries. It was the lightest and freshest French toast I've ever had!!

Delicious breakfast, fast service, and a cozy, always-busy vibe. Crispy bacon every time. Best breakfast spot around! Coffees are also delicious

Food here is delightful! The chilaquiles are full of flavor but most importantly- authentic! I feel like I was eating chilaquiles that my mom makes! They also have Pan Dulce available that is made fresh daily- highly recommend trying the Guava Empanadas (so delicious!) Service is great- it feels like one big family! The place does get busy , but how can it not? The food is great!

Cups is a friendly, nearby neighborhood restaurant with a nice interior and pleasant patio. We were greeted enthusiastically and walked to our table. Service was quick and efficient. Our food was great, my Shrimp Frittata was superb. My wife enjoyed her scramble. We'll be back .

Paradise Cove Cafe is a small, unassuming breakfast & lunch spot that's punching way above its…read moreweight and scoring a whole bunch of knockouts. Located on Town Center Way, it's got the feel and look of most other diner/coffee shops, though the decor includes some beachy elements, I assume in a nod to the famous Paradise Cove empire in Malibu. Walking in, one might expect the usual breakfast suspects to look and taste as they usually do, but the folks in this kitchen are aiming for more and delivering the unexpected. Service is swift and attentive, and our server, Jahlyn, made sure to check on us quite a bit. They've got a long list of Pancake and Waffle variations to choose from, many of which looked like something out of a Dr. Seuss book, but my wife went simple: a Buttermilk Pancake with Bacon. Okay, you can get this anywhere, but not THIS! The pancake was large and imposing, but light and fluffy while managing to have pleasingly crisp edges. The flavor smacked of vanilla, and blended nicely with butter and syrup, while the bacon had been slowly rendered before being fried, giving it a crispness throughout that even extended to the fat, which melted on the tongue and delivered maximum bacon-ocity! I ordered the Chorizo Con Papas: eggs with homemade Pork Chorizo, Seasoned Home Fries, Sautéed Onion, & Serrano Peppers with Sour Cream on the side. I asked it be made as a scramble instead of an omelet, and they happily obliged. This was a terrific egg dish, perfectly executed and packed with flavor and spice. The homemade chorizo was lean and amply seasoned, while the sautéed onions and sliced Serrano peppers added a serious hit of heat. Sour cream was a nice, cooling foil for the richness and spice, and the potatoes added heft. Biscuits & Gravy served instead of toast were also phenomenal, the rich, flavorful sausage gravy having both a peppery punch and a slight tang from either citrus or sour cream. Paired with buttery biscuits, this was a very savory and satisfying side. There's no question that this little nook is serving some of the very best breakfast in the area -- and no question that you should be planning your own visit very soon.

Whenever I travel, I like to try the diners and cafés locals recommend. I was in Palm Desert for a…read moretrade show and decided to give Paradise Cove Cafe a try. It did not disappoint. The café sits in a shopping center, so parking was easy--always a welcome change from circling until you're dizzy. Inside, it has the booths and tables you'd expect from a neighborhood diner, plus outdoor seating, a little California sun-and-surf character, and an owner's sense of humor on display in the tower of pancakes on the wall. The music was loud enough to enjoy without making conversation a shouting match. I ordered the country fried steak and eggs and one of the chef's "signature secret recipe" pancakes. My food arrived in about 12 minutes. The steak was covered in flavorful sausage gravy and came with two eggs and home fries that tasted freshly made. The pancake had crisp edges and a moist, sweet center. Add butter and maple syrup, and I can see why the chef keeps that recipe a secret. I'd order it again. Even the tea was brewed in-house. The staff was friendly, and Jacqueline was especially attentive. She kept my glass full and brought extra napkins before I had to ask--a small thing, but she clearly noticed what I needed. The bill was higher than I'm used to paying for breakfast, but it didn't give me heartburn. I left well fed and glad I'd stopped in. My ratings (5 being a great experience) * Parking and atmosphere: 4 out of 5 * Quality of ingredients: 4 out of 5 * Taste of food: 5 out of 5 * Service: 5 out of five * Overall: 4.5 out of 5 If you're visiting Palm Desert and looking for a good breakfast or lunch, don't overlook Paradise Cove Cafe. .

The room itself had multiple seating areas. There was a couch and coffee table as well as a table and chairs. I loved that there was a seating area on the patio (and that there was a patio) even though I wasn't able to enjoy it this trip. I liked the convenience of having a fridge in the room as well. The bed was comfortable and everything seemed very clean. I would've loved to of had some qtips & makeup remover wipes that have been at other properties I've stayed. There was however a robe available, which I liked. This was a short stay but it was enjoyable.

We were there for a conference and a group of us showed up around the same time from the same flight. I was a bit let down by the rooms versus the cost.... now hear me out -- i get it theres a pool, golf, some restaurants and to be fair im only here for a conference -- but the rooms need a major upgrade -- first off the doors are heavy and all the rooms all i heard was doors slamming -- especially when we first arrived -- i think the cleaning staff just kept going in and out a room across from us and the dorr slammee 20+ times. Maybe our room was a handcapp assessible room - not sure but we had a tub with all the grab bars and shower. The water was hot, and the room was clean but we were seriously lacking extrra towels, no hand towels, had to ask for more toilet paper, and ran out of shower gel. the bed was comfortable but when it was time to sleep i could hear everything... people upstairs walking in their room or whatver they were doing was the worst - i thought they wre going to fall through! then the people getting back to their rooms late at night and the slamming doors -- i cant! I didnt sleep well. We also hd a very large crack in the door between the door and sdoor sill which not only let sound echo in but also light. Didnt use the pool, but walked around -- they have a koi pond - it needs to be cleaned out - could be nice but clearly needs a good cleaning. We did eat on site at Pizini restaurant and it was okay. Coffee shop was fast, friendly and good! Check out was a pain- I was going to check out with the desk but one lady was doing something at the computer and not waiting on people while two other employees where just with customers - one who was along a bunch of questions about shipping something and the other who was trying to figure out what room he wanted - I waited and waited - orders my uber and finally just walked over to the lady who wasn't helping customers and asked her if I could just give her my keys - she didn't seem to want to take them and said she would give him to the guy who was waiting on the guy who wanted to ship something. - so they need more staff at the check in-out area - there were about 10 people in line when I left. I ended up using the app for check out anyways and the hotel sent me an email thanking me for my stay overall, be prepared to walk a ways to the rooms, and if I wasnt at a conference I definelty wouldnt pay those prices to stay here.

It has lettuce, cabbage, carrots. And some other kind of sweet white vegetable of some sort and cucumbers, and what they are trying to pass off as avocado lol. When somebody pays $17 for a sandwich, you expected to have a little flavor The bread was dry and falling apart with every bite. It taste tasted sour. I don't know if it's meant to be that way or if it's just because the bread is going bad I'm not sure.. The only flavor I got was some sort of spread that they put on, but I only got the flavor and probably three bites out of half of the sandwich at least if there were some pickled onions or some kind of seasoning or Italian dressing or something that would taste good but it really just taste like raw vegetables. I know that's what it is but again for 17 bucks at least put some seasoning on there so it tastes decentO It'll probably be a while before I come back as I don't live close and there's nothing pulling me here anymore Also, I sat at the ice cream counter for almost 5 minutes, waiting to be served so then I had to go wait on the other side and by that point I didn't even order an ice cream - I wasn't sure how much longer it would take...
