The food and staff were excellent. The french fries are wonderful. The hamburgers aren't greasy and the fish is the best in Salt Lake.

Food is good, always fresh. Restaurant is pretty much always clean. The problem is that the fish is always greasy, I think it would be better if they would let it drain a little bit more. I understand they want to get it out hot but not greasy. read more

Pretty darn good but not as good as in Wisconsin. I went to the Midvale Utah location. These guys pack a big menu but you need to have the fried cheese curds and then the double bacon burger. The burgers are smashed so a double isn't too large. Then you need to get one of the custard desserts. Culver's has pride in making their custard fresh daily at each location. It is similar to ice cream but have more eggs, a different recipe is my understanding. Sometimes this location gets busy and lags on orders. read more

Been to Culver's before and we were Driving thru town so we stopped by. Literally the craziest experience I've ever had at a fast food spot. Starting with a few people in line saying they've been waiting for a drive thru order for 30min. Then the cashier was "new" and of our 2 orders one was put on "hold" so it never got made until we asked. They kept saying they were short staffed but I've see faster joints operate better with 3 workers and they had like 8 kids back there BS-ing. Lol. Now the new cashier I understand screwing up the orders but then her and the other girl that helped her could do the math on a $79.56 bill when I paid with $100. Ha. They must be new at math too. This is the future of fast food in our country. Looks like I'll be packing sandwiched for the road on road trips from here on out. Good luck if you have to stop here, enjoy the show! read more

Pros: place was very good. Plus the concrete mixers at Culver's are the best! I got a m and m with hot fudge and it was super good. My friend tried the Reese's salted Carmel one and really recommends giving that one a try. Workers were friendly and the place was extremely clean. Cons: in general Culver's seems a little more expensive for fast food compared to other fast food places. Also I would recommend not getting their chicken strips, they were a little bit of a disappointment. Overall, Culver's was good and I would recommend going to this one. read more

They asked us to pull forward to be delivered. When they were brought out, they were both insanely dripping and no napkins were provided. So, ice cream ended up on our shirts, pants, and in the car. I just realized why I hadn't been to Culver's in years. What a ripoff. The meat was so thin and had hardly anything on it. The price was way too high for what was ordered (one single burger in a basket. Fries and a drink.). The restaurant was filthy. Not one table was clean. The station to get ketchup was gross. This is the most poorly run Culver's I've ever experienced. Whoever owns this location should be embarrassed and shouldn't own a restaurant. They have a bunch of teens running it who have no idea what they're doing. The kid taking orders didn't know how to do anything on the register. It was painful. A girl who seemed like the most capable worker here, hit my 5 year old in the eye with the tray when she brought our food. Then one of my 5 year olds chicken tenders was smaller than a chicken nugget from McDonalds and one of my tenders was almost as small. The whole dining room is gross. I feel bad for the kids working here because they seem really overwhelmed. The place seems very poorly managed. We've had issues here before, them forgetting my entire meal in the drive through for example. I'm reporting this location to corporate because I'm so annoyed. read more

I used to enjoy coming to this Culver's but the last two times I've come to this location the service hasn't been good and the amount of time it takes to get your order is ridiculous. This was the first and last visit to Culver's. The app didn't work at all which explains why I've never been there. I walk in and immediately notice two teenage boys working in the back between my cashier and the drive thru window making out, grabbing each others asses, hugging etc... the family of four in front of me were also put off by this. They had two kids around 3 and 4 years old. I reluctantly ordered the fish sandwich I saw on the website and left. I'll never waste my time there again. As for the sandwich, meh. I stopped by Culver's earlier this week and they appeared to be having a bad day. In the past when I have ordered a concrete mixer it has come out within 5 minutes, but this time I sat around in the nearly-empty restaurant for at least 20 minutes until I finally went back up to the counter to ask for my custard. I happened to glance up at the order screens and all three screens were completely blank. I think I may not have ever received my order if I hadn't gone back up to ask. I also chatted with some of the other customers as I was waiting and they mentioned waiting 20+ minutes for their food, although the restaurant and drive-thru were both pretty empty. My custard, when I finally got it, was a soupy consistency, even though I ate it right after I got it. The one saving grace (the reason for two stars instead of one) was that the employee who made my concrete mixer attempted to make up for my bad experience by giving me a bigger size than I ordered. But overall I just came away from my visit confused about why everyone's food was taking so long when there were more employees in the restaurant than customers, and why my concrete mixer was melted. read more

Went to drive thru for two kids meals. Waited for almost 15 minutes. Three or four cars behind me got their meals and left. I called from my car and was told they were short handed but my meal is being bagged. They came out right after the call with my food. Went home about 5 minutes away and buns for the burgers were hard, like they were sitting under a heat lamp for a while. Called and spoke to manager. We visited this restaurant on a weeknight. There were 8 or more employees all under the age of 18 and two that took orders and brought out food. The tables were sticky and not wiped off. The drink station was sticky and messy as were the areas to pick up napkins and straws. There were a few customers inside but most used the drive-up windows or walked in and out with orders. When I order my burger with no bun, every other culvers serves it on a bed of lettuce, but these guys are OK with having the entire peice of cheese melt into the box. Also every other culvers gives me a fork when I order no bun, so with no fork and the food melted and stuck to the box it was a pretty messy experience today. There is supposed to be lettuce on the bottom keeping the cheese from melting to the box, not melted cheese that would cause me to eat paper if I pulled it off because the hot grease and melted cheese caused the box to fall apart and stick to the cheese if I try to pull it off. read more

After reading these other comments this makes sense. After arriving and finding out the dining room was closed due to understaffing we decided to go through the drive through. First, we were very understanding about the understaffing which is why we didn't make a big deal about the wait. But there is more to it which is why this review is being added. When we were sitting at the order spot we were told first it would be 5 minutes, we waited 10. Then we were told it would be another 20minutes because they were getting caught up. We decided to keep waiting because we understood the understaffing. Then while in line we watched an employee walk out the back door and hand every car behind us a discount ticket. Did we get one for waiting 30+ minutes? No. Then after we ordered we pulled up to the window to pay for our food and get our drinks and we were told to pull forward for yet another wait. After waiting another 15-20 minutes we finally got our food, again we didn't express any concern about the wait. One of the kids meals, a corn dog meal was cold. We didn't get any napkins or asked if we wanted any condiments like ketchup for fries. Also, we asked if one of our kids could use the bathroom, since we were sitting for over an hour, they told us no. Lobby still isn't open, long wait times. They mess up large orders then give attitude when you tell them you're missing items and drinks. "I personally bagged this myself, nothing is missing". Regular non-management employees identifying themselves as managers. The REAL manager on duty was named Jason and was no help when we called the store. Said if we wanted our missing food we'd have to go through drive through again, after already waiting over 45 minutes. Cars were now out of their main parking lot and wrapping around the lot. Was not offered a refund on the missing meals. Needless to say we won't be going back. The food was good BUT: 1- Tables were stacked with dirty food , trays, drink cups. 2- Tables were dirty slop all over them. 3- Behind the order counter on the floor was garbage, rubber gloves, spilled salad dressing containers, spilled food, hadn't been swept in a month. 4- drink dispenser was filthy. 5- napkin holder didn't have a cover and appeared to be broken, lying next to the dispenser. Absolutely filthy. 6- I went to the rest room to wash my hands and no towels. 7- First impression was the grease on the sidewalk at the front door. 8- there were at least 10 employees standing around looking to do something. I grabbed the manager and pointed out the problems. He said he had only been a manager a couple of days- appeared to be ready to cry. I told him if he was the manager then his job was to manage. 9- The garbage cans were overflowing. I have to admit, I haven't had one of these butter burgers, but I did have cheese curds and a concrete. Who could possibly need more than cheese curds and ice cream? The cheese curds were amazing little nuggets of salty, crispy fried cheese. The concrete was ok, but I won't be racing cross town to get one again. We had a couple burgers here Saturday night, one with Beef, and one with a veggie patty, mine was the veggie patty. It was nothing special for sure, just what seemed to be just a bland frozen veggie patty. Fries were just frozen fries. I thought it was a little on the hi side as far as the cost for what we got. In the half hour we were there we watched several customers sit down at dirty tables, some cleaned them off a little with napkins, well others just put there food on the dirty tables. I never seen one employee clean a table well we were there. Men's restroom was totally out of paper towels. I was very surprised at there lack of cleaning. Ordered basic cheeseburger without pickles, my burger came with pickles not a big problem but lettuce was frozen, and I crunched into ice my first bite. Ruined the burger, so I went inside to see about getting it fixed. No one would help me finally I asked for manager some kid came out and refused to do anything, keep saying our condiments are at the proper temp. Stared me down and refused to give me his name or managers name. I told him I was calling corporate about how I was treated . Nothing, he just kept trying to stare me down, corporate was great and said someone from that franchise would get back to me, that was 4 weeks ago, nothing. In the world of fast food restaurants, Culver's puts the big corporate chains to shame. Their food is fresh and delicious, the staff is friendly, and the dining environment is almost always clean and well maintained. They also have the best frozen custard of all the places I've tried. read more

Wow! I really like this place! A coworker and I were on our way to a meeting in St. George and we saw Culver and my coworker told me that we have to go there. They have great burgers, french fries, cheese curds and shakes. I got the single butter burger, cheese curds and a strawberry shake. All I can say is that I need a Culver's in California. read more
