Out of all of the countless Culver's establishments I have visited, this has been the cleanest, fastest, and most guest friendly one yet. After ordering 6 meals along with a line of customers, the staff who were clearly trained excellently delivered the food to our table in under ten minutes. After discovering that two burgers were bacon-less, we brought up the issue to the front counter which fixed it quickly by giving us A) The missing bacon B) a scoop of custard (berry cobbler is the best I have had so far). Now I normally love me some Culver's, but this location here in Destin just didn't do it for me. It was a bit of a drive for us to come, and I told my dad it would be worth it as Culver's is an S tier burger joint. Drawing upon past experiences, I have come to expect lightning fast service from this establishment. But this time, it moved at the pace of a cow awaiting slaughter. It took about 20 minutes to receive our food. It was somewhat cold as well. Despite this, my dad still proclaimed culver's to have the best fast food burger, so I'll add an extra star for taste. Unfortunately, they brought out fries for my order when i specifically asked to sub in some of those famous cheese curds. Upon reminding them and showing my receipt, the girl bringing out my order didn't seem to care much. I would have gone back up to the register, but there was a huge line that was not moving. After finishing the main course, we decided to add on some ice cream. Unfortunately, this took another 15-20 minutes to receive. Looking back at the kitchen, it didn't seem that staffing was the issue, as a number of crew members just stood around and chatted as the line continued to grow. The restaurant was also quite dirty. To be honest, I was quite embarrassed to have brought my father here telling him he'd have the best fast food experience of his life. Besides the taste of the food, everything was lacking. We love Culver's and it's one of our favorites. This Destin one, not so much. Dirty tables, inattentive staff, cooks eating in the kitchen while food being made, staff with long haired braids was picking her hair with her nails, forgot our custard twice, no "thank you" and we spent almost $70. I ordered a delivery from Culver's. And even though the delivery was very quick and efficient the food was cold. The burger was supposed to be a mushroom Swiss. No mushrooms and the cheese was not melted and didn't seem fresh. It was also very small, less than half size of a regular Whataburger. The drink, ice tea, was warm and No ice. I used to like Culver's but tonight was a complete disappointment. The young lady taking my order was unhelpful. I asked for a roast beef meal with the sides and the sides I asked for she said they didn't have, okay - not a big deal. I couldn't see the other sides so I asked her what they were and she told me to read the screen. Lol. I'm a mother and if my daughter said that to a customer she'd get a nice lesson in manners. Did not experience any of the frustrations encountered by those previously during the pandemic--service was very friendly and swift. One of the best fast-food hamburgers on the market and great fries as well. Even for a Saturday lunch on the final heels of Spring Break, the dining room was plenty spacious and the layout afforded more privacy than similar burger restaurants. I have a love love hate relationship for Culver's. Love the food. Love the custard. Hate that I am so weak to deny the need for Culver's. When I lived in Texas I frequented Culver's and now they have made their way to Ga and Fl! Highlights are the butter burgers (buns are buttered). Go for the double since they are thin patties. Custard is great and one scoop will hold you over. They always have vanilla and chocolate and then a flavor of the day. Onion rings are crispy and hot. Diet root beer on tap and optional gluten free buns! Not your average burger place! Husband likes fries but I am not a crinkle fry fan. But he says they are perfect! I gave a 5 star rating 6 weeks ago and I am now changing that score to a 1. I do this to hopefully get management's attention. My last two visits have been awful! I always order the single deluxe burger. Over the last 4 weeks, both times the burger was cold, the bun was stale (hard as a rock), minimal toppings such as pickles, no lettuce either time and after taking only two bites each time, I had to throw the burgers in the trash. This restaurant used to be a "go-to" for me. I will give it one more try in a few weeks. Never had a bad experience at any Culver's in the Midwest or in Texas. Happily, we can add Destin to that list. Their food is dependably good, always fresh, and the service is always pleasant. This is fast food, yes, but it is definitely a step above. They have a large variety of food to choose from: burgers, chicken and fish sandwiches, chicken nuggets, soups, salads, and even meals. I had their pot roast meal last night and it was seriously delicious. I've tried a variety of their items over the years and have always been pleased with my meals. Crinkle fries? Yum! And their chili is some of my favorite. I particularly like getting a grilled cheese with a cup of chili. Drool. This was particularly delicious on a frigid Wisconsin winter day. Now I'll be enjoying hat combo on a never frigid day here, lol. But happy to have hat option! This restaurant is newly opened. The employees are gracious and prompt - always with smiles on their faces. Plenty of seating (some outside as well), and they aren't afraid to crank the a/c to keep you cool. Prices are comparable to any other set food restaurant. Meal prices are slightly more but are totally worth it for the value and quality. Example: My pot roast meal last night came with a huge servicing of pot roast on a slice of bread and covered in gravy, a roll, and two sides for $8.59 (no drink included). Excellent experience for both adults and kids. The food was OK, but nothing was signature. The best part was the dessert...OMG. It was smooth, deliciously creamy and so worth the calories. We all have not stopped talking about the sprinkles. The flavor and the fact that no matter how long it sat on the cold ice cream it remained crunchy. Ordered a grilled chicken sandwich plain, one melt and onion rings. Told to pull up to wait. Watched over 20 cars come and go. I walked in twice to find out what was going on. 30 MINUTES LATER, we got the food. They said they had been waiting in the 6 onion rings they gave us!!
