We just wanted some burgers without too much grease, and Five Guys delivered. This seems to be our go-to burger chain if it's convenient. We also experienced Five Guys while in Barcelona for a few weeks - it always delivers. I appreciate all the options we are able to add on - lettuce, mushrooms, peppers, grilled onions, pickles - it makes a difference. You are also able to get a burger without the bun and it comes in a foil tray so you're able to eat it conveniently. A regular hamburger comes with 2 patties and a "little" comes with 1 patty. I quite like the bun so usually order that when I'm feeling hungry. My partner ordered a patty melt and thought it was delicious. The soft drink machines are updated and we tried out the Seagrams ginger ale, and discovered different flavors! Vanilla, lime, orange, etc. that was an exciting find! I also like the fries here - they are thicker than typical fast food places, but not over-oiled and taste fresh. You can also see a bit of the potato skin on them. On the little cheeseburger I think is more than enough for a kid, and way too much for a toddler. I would say that can be enough for an adult not too hungry. The fries are always amazing and not too salty. The icing on the cake was that they fresh brew their tea, it's not that Gold Peak that comes out of a dispenser like soda. I usually don't go to Five Guys. Now I remember why. Getting good help is difficult right now. There are Help Wanted signs everywhere. But there are some employee's behaviors that simply cannot be ignored. We are in a Pandemic. Wear your mask. If you are wearing it beneath your chin and make extended direct eye contact with a customer then wear it correctly. I'm wearing mine. Correctly. Be helpful. There are 15 free burger toppings. Learning that after the order is complete is not helpful. Missing items that have been paid for and are on the receipt but not present is not good service. Double check the order to ensure it is complete. Enjoying working with your fellow employee is good. No one likes to come to an unhappy workplace. However, this is performance art. When the food prep area becomes a locker room it's probably a good idea and tone it down. Sadly I cannot recommend this restaurant. read more

The first night we got carry out it was SO good!!!! With everything that's going on I know it's probably been hard. But everything was correct and delicious. It was so good the first night we decided to go back. Probably our mistake rolling the dice twice. This time several orders were wrong, it took a while to get what we needed. We were also surprised by how they acted. We had to keep asking for sauces, napkins and utensils. We even had to get the receipt and prove our orders were made wrong. No one seemed like they wanted to be there or knew they were in the service industry. Luckily the food was good once we finally got it right. They kept the order line moving and our order came out quickly. The burgers had fried onions (not thin onion slices but onion chunks) which is not how most onion burgers are made. Don't understand the hype. This was our first visit to a Five Guys. Buns were small, typical sesame seed bun that smooshed down to a 4 mm. Soggy mess that didn't hold the burger together. Lettuce consisted of a tiny leaf of warm, flimsy lettuce. The American cheese tasted like wax and the meat did not taste fresh and lacked flavor. I get there on time and stand there for 15 minutes before anyone ever spoke to me in which case I had to speak first and ask where my online order was. I was then told it's not made ahead of time. Five guys is a chain so I just expected any old burger. When I got the burger that I ordered it actually was wrong when it came out. However the workers and manager handled the remake incredibly quickly and instead of just handing me what was wrong with my order, they completely remade my meal within a timely fashion. We ordered on line. This just removes the the cashier from their staff from having to work entering our order. It makes sense if the order is ready when you get their. Well, it wasn't even started when we got their 15 min later. We waited another 15 minutes and then had to go to another area to get our milk shakes. Terrible service. Burgers were ok but nothing special. Very expensive to get average burgers and wait for 15 minutes even though we lightened their load by ordering online. read more
