Warning: it's 2026 and this Whataburger still sucks. If it's 7 AM in the morning and you're getting biscuits, wouldn't you expect them to be freshly made and not yesterday's stale, crunchy ass biscuits? And why should I have to remind the cashier to give me my $20 change and the response is "oh yeah I was gonna do that" Warning: This review contains jelly-related subject matter. What the hell is going on at Whataburger? I think they might have a corporate mandate to ignore customer requests for jelly. Seriously I asked twice for some freaking strawberry jelly for my damn biscuit and I got home there was no jelly. Not the first time this is happened at this location. Yes yes yes, the pico de gallo burger is so good. It needs salt & pepper but it's good. We got our food fast. read more

I finally experience a Whataburger on a road trip in Alabama and it was fantastic! It is a terrific burger...I did the double with fires. They are fantastic too! I was also amazed at how polite and attentive the staff was. This is a class act. I wish they would consider coming to Southwest Florida. read more

Slowest place ever, we were in the drive through for about 45 minutes ever though there was only 1 car in front of us. The drive thru employee was terrible, kept putting the wrong thing and was very hard to understand. They forgot things in our order. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!! read more

The food we got was good, but unfortunately all 3 burgers we ordered were wrong. Ordered one with just onion, lettuce and pepper jack. Came with mustard and tomato, no cheese. Another came without the cheese. Final one ordered regular missing tomato and cheese. Checked the receipt, cheese was listed. Ordered curbside and they brought us food with no drinks. Seemed surprised we ordered drinks. Had to go back and get them. Whatamess! read more

This is my first time here and I'd say this place is what a McDonald's wishes they could become. The burger and fries both reminded me of McDonald's. The ingredients seemed to be higher quality but the taste and flavor profile was very similiar to McDonald's. I'd say overall the food was good but overpriced to the point I'd prefer something like Shake Shack. I also tried one of their shakes. The chocolate shake was heavily diluted with vanilla ice cream, it was okay and I would not order it again. The restaurant style is similiar to a Wendy's and McDonald's, most fast food restaurants. The workers were typical except for Captain Whattaburger. He was going above and beyond and at first I thought he was funny but towards the end after hearing multiple bad puns in series, I was a bit done lol. Nothing against this establishment but the food just wasn't for me. read more

I ordered a jalapeño burger. The cashier says "would you like lettuce and tomato?" I said "yes". I took the burger to go and I got the lettuce and tomato but they forgot the jalapeños! And I got a Stale bun! Very disappointing. read more

Mood: good cheap eats It's going to be five star every single Time. Really wish there was one in Las Vegas! I get the beef patty melt 10/10, made fresh to order and so mouth watering. Strawberry milkshake 10/10- it is so big and creamy. I just love to get any other flavors of milkshakes. They have chocolate, vanilla and strawberry and you can also get all of those mixed together in one. I usually get a medium because the large is way too big and I was gonna finish it and the small is too small, of course. This particular whataburger had great service. Very polite, helpful, place was clean. You can also a double or triple patty melt. Don't forget to get spicy ketchup for the fries. The fries are a good size and not overly salty. Very glad they are 24hours with both breakfast and lunch options at all different times. A lot of times people get upset because you have to wait but when something is made to order and not automatically just frozen then put on the grill it does take some time so I recommend having some patience. What are you decide to eat here. read more

they didn't let us get the sizes we wanted then took forever with our food (so long we had to pull past the window) awful and a waste of time read more

We stopped here midway through our shopping day at the outlet mall. We ate around 3 o'clock. We pulled right in, went inside and ordered, and our food was delivered to our table within 8 minutes. We were a table of four, and all of our order was correct. The food was hot, and correct. The sweet tea was perfect, but make sure you add a lot of ice. It melts quickly. Overall, it is always good to have Whataburger on vacation at the beach. We will be back. read more

My daughter insisted we had to find a whataburger while in Florida so we did. She raved about them. Either we are just too Yankee or generally just not the impressed is a matter of opinion. Shake Shack they are not! The employees were great, full of personality and appeared to really enjoy what they do. The burgers were average at best, but generously sized. Buns felt cheap. Fries were thin and like McDonald's. The pepper sauce was the star and delicious. They are not free and you do get charged per sauce but it was worth .40 cents and than some. If I come across one again I'll pop in....and just buy sauce. read more

Honestly not sure why this location is rated so low? Our experience today was awesome! Our group ate inside the dining room. Everything was clean, people were spaced out, and the service was quick. All the employees were super friendly. We're visiting from out of town so a lot of folks in our group have never had whataburger, so we were definitely excited to try it out. I got a chicken sandwich with fries and whataburger sauce. It was amazing. Everything was super fresh and hot. The sandwich itself was huge along with everyone's burgers. You definitely get a large amount of food for a great price. Nothing was super greasy or anything like that just super fresh. The burgers looked amazing as well. One person in our group also got the BBQ chicken melt and they said it was very good too. The onion rings were delicious. You can't go wrong with this place. Definitely try it if you've never had it! read more

Ridiculous! If I could give negative stars I would! Waited 50 min for our food! How do they stay in business?

This may be the slowest Whataburger in the United States. Food wasn't terrible but it's definitely not worth the wait.

The king was very long, however the wait was worth it. Our food was delicious and we had zero complaints. We loved the fact that they bagged our orders separately and placed the order in one plastic bag. All except one request was fulfilled and the customer service was great. We will definitely return and WHATABURGER is exactly what we had! I'm not sure why the rating is so low, but they did a great job today! read more

You guys need to start giving a crap about your customers and the product you present. When I am in Texas, the Whataburger are pretty consistent but you guys seriously dropped the ball. My family was really disappointed in the experience and the food. Do better. read more

Highly disappointed. Our first stop when we got to the beach. Our order took quite awhile and we were told it was because they had been filling some "big preorders" and that they were "now working on our order". When we got our burger and fries they were cold...so I highly doubt they were made fresh. Probably had been sitting back there in a bag and someone forgot to bro g it out. Sad and yucky. Won't be going back. read more

Food is always hot and great. Service is speedy. The employees always have a great attitude. Good service with a smile.

HIGHLY over-rated. Overall, not a good burger (on par with Burger King) and took 20 minutes to get it. Had to drown it in ketchup. Also, spicy ketchup is not spicy and has funky color. Fries were good tho and substantial soda selection. Likely would never go back to any Whataburger. read more

Good service, the burgers are actually pretty good and the workers here are friendly. The Spicy ketchup is so good!

This place is slow everytime I go through the drive through and inside isn't any faster. Why call it fast food when it's soooo slow????

The last time I was at a Whataburger was when we lived in Houston for between 2004 and 2006. They don't have any locations around Chicago and, I admit, we missed it. I always found Whataburger to be what I thought was the best of the fast-food burger joints. This one, in Destin, was not quite what I recalled. Clearly, the person behind the counter absolutely loved his job. He was smiling and joking with people - even dancing from time to time. I suppose you can never go back. The fries were very good. The burger wasn't what I remembered. It was probably no better or worse, but perhaps others, like Culvers, have caught up or surpassed them Going there did bring back a lot of good memories. read more

I am from Texas, and love Whataburger! I visited this location while on vacation (today) and was surprised that it was just as good as home! This location also has a young man working here with the best attitude, smiling and cracking "dad" jokes, he was a pleasure to speak to. He even wore a cape that said "WHATADUDE". He was a delight! After we ate we went straight to the airport to head home and I realized I had left my wallet in the restroom, we called and let them know where it was left. The owner got back with me and let me know they found it and they sent it to me in the mail. This is a top notch restaurant with top notch people! Thank you!!! read more

First time eating at Whataburger. I'm not disappointed, as it's actually kind of what I expected. Fries were fresh, restaurant seemed pretty clean along with kitchen. The guy at the front counter JOSH, was hilarious. Burger was a good size, lacked much taste (aka tasted like your average fake fast food burger). Prices are a little high for the quality of food, but that's every fast food restaurant these days. read more

I became a Whataburger convert on a recent trip to Florida. So much so we had it for two meals. I finally got to find out what the hype is all about and I agree with it. Yes it's fast food but it's also delicious! Include it in your vacation plans just for fun. I felt like I was cheating on Shake Shack but they are now tied for being my favorites. read more

Only reason it gets a 4 the inside dining was closed had to use drive through. My first time at Whataburger. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger. Added everything I like on a burger no additional charges. Drive through folks were nice. When they handed me the bag I thought wow this is heavy why? I thought more was in there than just the burger. Pound wise you get what you pay for. It was huge and delicious. For $8.00 can't beat it. read more

We waited over an hour for 2 burgers and fries. And there was no one in front of us. Completely ridiculous. If I could give zero I would.

I eat here quite regularly, usually getting the Whataburger Jr combo. It's the perfect proportion for me. The fries could be a bit more crispier. Otherwise this Whataburger is a great place for a local meal. Their service has gotten super quick now too due to more staff. read more

Never been to Whataburger before but now I know why it's called What A Burger....the burgers are huge and I couldn't handle it. I "thought"I was hungry, so I got a Mushroom and Swiss burger meal. Honestly, I should've known what I was getting myself into by the size of the cup but I thought Cedric (the cashier) was being nice. They were behind on orders so it took a while for my food to come but it was worth it because my burger and fries were fresh. My food was good and the price was extremely reasonable for what you get ($8.77). The only reason I'm giving this location 3 stars is because of the wait time and the seating areas were extremely dirty, also my burger didn't look too appealing. I struggled finding a table and I had to watch my step because there was ketchup all over the floor. read more
