Since I can't reply to you and your message. The sub was average and not as good as Publix or Jersey Mikes. Bread was fine, just not great Portion size was not up to the portion of the same. Dressing was bland. The staff was not rude, just indifferent. Felt like subway. Which is below average. Sorry you are so upset, but do you think that you are better than Publix or Mikes? We decided to try Jon Smith subs today. Big Mistake! My husband ordered the giant cheeseburger sub. Very little meat, limited condiments, too much bread. I had the Reuben on Cuban. Bread was good. . Very little pastrami, a small amount of Russian dressing, good amount of Swiss and sauerkraut. The fries had a good taste but were undercooked. I ordered a 12" turkey breast; however, it was rung up a two 6" turkey breast sandwiches, which is the reason for the one star removal because I don't think the guy taking my order was listening to me and did what he wanted to do. What a great find! We were in town and heading to the beach. I happened to look on Yelp for some nearby restaurants and came across this place that had wonderful reviews. The owner greeted us upon entry and she was super sweet. We began talking she said that she and her husband opened this location about 6 months ago. It is a small sub shop that has a number of tables to sit down and eat as well as a fountain drink station. The quality of the subs are great. These subs belong in its own category and are so good that one would never want to visit Subway or Jimmy John's again. These are open faced subs that have quality tasty meat in them. The bread is fresh and the portion sizes are huge. They offer both hot and cold subs. Personally, I got the turkey and it was delish! With customer service being a top priority, this restaurant is doing it right. I enjoyed my sub so much that I stopped back on my way out of town and got another one for the road. As for the sandwich, it was a good solid Italian. Now bring from New jersey and Chicago, I've probably had the best Italian subs in the country, so I'm a snob at this, I admit it. The bread was soft, but pretty good. Decent crust, not much crunch on it, tasted more like a good quality white baguette. The meats were good quality, sliced to order, that's why the sandwich takes a few minutes to prepare. I rate them well above Jimmy John's and Subway and pretty much on par with Jersey Mike's. Tried to call in an order tonight and was met via phone by a very angry and rude "manager". We won't be back. I tried to place my order. Asked about the Italian sub.
