Nice, clean, friendly. Very yummy, good prices. We had the rolled taquitos, breakfast burrito and birria tacos all delicious

Absolutely most amazing experience, the Quesabirria tacos were amazing, juicy, tasty, & filling. The salsa bar was simple but perfect you don't need anything else. The staff is super friendly & kind, they took the time to answer my questions. This will be my go to spot while in Miramar Beach, will be back before I head out . read more

Amazing food, great owners who take pride in the quality of their food and business. Tender and flavorful steak. This place would compete well in the San Diego market amongst all the other amazing taco shops out there. read more

This is a good place to come eat for some cooked food. The front counter personal was very helpful and accommodating so I could add more protein to my order. The meal itself was very good. There is inside seated but limited depending on the time. I walked into an empty lot but by the time my food came out they had a long line. The place is clean, but I did not see a bathroom but I'm sure there is one somewhere. Overall, I would definitely eat there again. read more

We ended up eating here 3x while on vacation because it's quick and yummy. They will also prepare their cheese quesadilla on a separate space for shellfish allergies if you let them know about allergies! That was another reason we came back bc it was a safe option for my daughter. The portions are huge. Service was friendly and there's plenty of seats and easy parking. Perfect spot for an easy lunch! read more

Truly a burst of flavor! I was pleasantly surprised by this place! The burrito was delicious and HUGE! This will definitely keep you full. The place itself is cute too. I will say it is pricey for a burrito, but the flavor is very good. The service was really nice too and it was very clean in the restaurant. A great gem in Destin! read more

First time eating at one of these places. The food portion was perfect and you don't feel overstuffed like some of the other places where the Porsches are too large. Everything was tasty but a bit on the salty side. They do not serve any beer or alcohol, which was a negative cause a margarita would've been a perfect accompaniment. read more

Went to Dat Burrito with my granddaughters. The service was very good and the place was very clean. I ordered the 3 rolled tacos and they were good. My granddaughters ordered the fries. Sweet corn. We had 2vhugh bowls of chips and salsa from the salsa bar. That was very cool. Very good place. Lots of choices. I think you will enjoy. I would return for sure. read more

Dat Burrito Place - 3 (3) Rolled Tacos - Mexican Near Me - Destin, Florida

My daughter did not have a fun time with these tacos. Because they were really "plain" in her words. My daughter was really confused why there were only three toppings on the tacos, which she said is not even a real taco. She suggests adding more toppings to the street tacos and making the tortilla less bland. And we did not even receive the right amount of street tacos - there was supposed to be four instead of three. She said "You should fix your tacos up!" read more

A nice little spot to grab something quick. The store has open seating with a counter-ordering setup. I had the birria ramen with chips and queso. The chips and queso absolutely slapped and I enjoyed the birria very much. The ramen was kinda what you expect for ramen. The service was good for what it is; would def go back to try some other things next time I'm in Destin read more

I stumbled on Dat Burrito a few years ago when vacationing with my family. We wanted something that was a quick to go option with reasonable prices. Dat Burrito had good reviews, so we decided to give it a try. The restaurant is in a busy shopping center in the heart of Destin. It is just north of 98 and west of the 293 bringing you over the bridge. You are going to be near this location at some point in your vacation so keep it on your radar. You do have to be actively looking for it as it is a pretty unassuming building. The food is a mixture of standard Mexican fare (e.g. tacos, burritos etc.). You can eat in store, or get it to take away. There isn't much ambiance, so this is definitely more of a "to go" type place. I would note there is a great toppings bar in the store that you should take advantage of even if you are getting a to go order. We have loved everything we have ordered, so there isn't any way you can go wrong. The prices are very good for the portion size as well. read more

I was really looking forward to coming here. The service was great and the restaurant was clean but I honestly hated my food. I got a chicken bowl and the chicken was rubbery and didn't taste like chicken. I was not impressed at all. read more

This was one of the worst place I've ever been to. 15 dollars for freezer fries with unmelted cheese. It was shitty food and way too expensive. While the place looked nice, it was too crowded. The service was fine. I would never eat here again. I'm not a picky eater, and I find good wherever I go. I could not be more upset. My sister hated her food as well. read more

My chicken burrito was very good with lots of spice. I gave a low rating because their prices are falsely advertised. The menu lists a burrito for $13.50, yet I was charged $15.50 plus tax. The cashier claimed it was all taxes. I'm a local...our taxes are not 20%. read more

Hidden gem! It's not often you find a place that's feels comfortable and is affordable. The decor is pretty, even if standard 2020+ restaurant decor. The menu has a wide range of options, more than some Mexican places. The space is large and wasn't terribly busy. It's a better version of a chipotle or noodles etc for maybe a $1 less. They also have a condiment bar with much than a ketchup or mustard. It had onions and jalapeños and more. read more

Bright, spotlessly clean. Delicious food! So many choices, reasonable prices. Two of us had bowls, two had burritos. Very substantial portions! The carnitas on my bowl were flavorful, tender and moist. Loved the smooth guacamole and thin crispy chips. Salsa bar had mild, medium tasty green and a red spicy. All were good. The green was my favorite! Lots of flavor with a little kick. I want to go back and try the birria ramen. read more

Food and service was amazing!! Javier and Brianna made our experience second to none. We enjoyed the food as well as the service. We had the steak fajita nachos, Al pastor street tacos and chips and queso. We enjoyed all the options at the salsa bar. Javier went out of his way to take care of an uncomfortable situation with another customer and we are grateful for that. Brianna helped my toddler clean up a mess he made. We enjoyed everything we ordered and look forward to coming back to try other items. We highly recommend giving Dat Burrito Place a try!! read more

Man old man where do I begin? Came across this jewel while visiting from Birmingham Al with friends we had a taste for Mexican and this place was highly recommended on google cute little establishment very clean with very friendly service I ordered the nachos and my friends ordered the taco salad shrimp tacos loaded fries & birria tacos everything was fresh & delicious however the birria tacos were good but they lacked bold flavors the queso was a little thin & runny and I wish the cheese on the nachos were either a queso or at least melted I still give them 10/10! And when we're back in Destin we'll definitely be back!(only got pics of my nachos) read more

The service was not ok could've been better. The food was good. The street corn was really good. The shrimp tacos good. The young guy that was at the register didn't hand me my change back he dropped it in my hand. I started to take my $6 tip back. Other than that I will not be coming back when I'm in the area. My hand was clean and is clean. read more

Place #2 on our Destin visit and another winner. Plenty of parking right out front and you file in on the left and order at the register. They then provide you a number and bring drinks and food to you as it becomes available. It's a typical fast food style experience but all the food was very very good. They also have beer and margaritas. The margaritas were ok and the beer was beer, so excellent! We had barría and fish tacos, a burrito with French fries in it, as well as steak bowl (awesome). We got a side of queso and it was a really nice size serving.they had a variety of salsas available to grab as needed. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Worthy of note is the burrito eater said it was the best burrito he ever had! read more

Food is more authentic Mexican. Really good food! Service is always excellent...very friendly people working there (we are locals and frequent this restaurant). Place is always clean. The only reason for the 4 stars is due to the margaritas. Go somewhere else for that...they are really sour & not good. Otherwise, I think they are the best Mexican restaurant in the area. read more

If you like SoCal Mexican fast food, then this 8s the place. Limited menu, prices are a little high, but the taste 8s on point. Portions are ok, but due to small corn tortillas, then they should give 6 rolled tacos instead of only 5 to make up for the small tortillas. Burritos are large but costly. Sal's a bar was food. Plenty of seating. Service was fast and people that work there seemed happy. We went three times. read more

The Cali Burrito isthe bomb. And the sauce is spicy good. Service was very fast and good. And food came out super hot.

Let's start with the customer service. These guys have it down pack. The service was exceptional! Great customer service. Now the food, everything we had was so good. The steak on those nachos were amazing, my wife's sandwich was awesome. I had the burrito it was good, I wish I would have asked for extra steak. Top top tier. Really like how clean the place was, restroom was very clean also. Excellent job guys. Hope to see another location in Atlanta soon. read more

Dat Burrito Place in Destin? Had the Cali Burrito and a shrimp taco, in my personal opinion were slightly above average for my taste. The burrito was a solid portions, but flavor wise, nothing special. For me it lacked seasoning. I also would have loved the fries inside to be cooked more crispy to give it some texture and maybe some cilantro and diced onion for some extra flavor. The shrimp taco was pretty solid and the small salsa bar help save the day. The place was clean and tidy. Would recommend and would go again. However skip if you're craving something amazing. read more
