I have gone on a personal one year hiatus from this location because the customer service is sub par. Every time I went here something was always wrong with my order. My family and I have spent so much money at this location for every order just always be disappointed. I recently started going back to give them another chance. I ordered dinner from this location on August 3. it was a busy night for them so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I ordered onion rings for my daughter and they ended up giving me cheese curds instead. I walked back to have them give me the right thing and all was okay. Today I wanted to treat my daughter to a concrete mixer because she had fallen at school and injured her arm. As we were walking home; I noticed her concrete mixer was melting. I thought it was just leaking from the top of the cup because it was overflowing. As I inspect the cup; I notice that the cup of was broken and half of ice cream was on the floor. I went back to Culver's to have them fix it. I was greeted by the GM smart mouth when I walked in. Her name is Niki. She has an attitude with everyone. I politely told her what happened and instead of saying i apologize she makes a smart comment and then proceeds to remake my daughter's ice cream. if you don't like your job; don't do customer service. I'm very disappointed with this location again, so, I will no longer give this location my business. I will go to a different location where the customer service is on point. I ordered picked up. Ive always loved their Buffalo Chicken Tenders so that's basically the only thing I get and this time with an Oreo concrete. It was really cleaned inside and lots of seating. Not my first time at this location. I've been coming here since the grand opening and my previous visits were 4-5 stars...but NOT anymore atm. First and foremost is always the food. My double burger with cheese and all the trimmings was really good, fresh and the fries too while they were hot. It was an exceptionally busy early evening, so I'll give the staff some consideration that they were obviously pressured and stressed...and some were handling it way better than others. Kudos to runner Chris and my two cashiers, but some others were dismissive and one in particular bordering on rudeness. Still not sure why the confusion over my first responder discount that was always offered since inception and at any other Chicagoland Culver locations without question, but at least I was offered the "military" discount and that was something. However, Chick -Fil-A has good food too...and NEVER a problem with them. So, pretty sure I won't be back for a good while. Like the commercial says...eat more chicken...wink wink. read more

Culvers is a great spot to have nearby when we are in a pinch! We've gotten last minute dinner from here a few times and it's always been a hit. The chicken tenders are so crunchy and yummy! The crinkle fries are delicious too. My husbands go-to is the cod sandwich. When we want a sweet treat, we like to wander down here for the frozen custard. The concretes are so yummy, and I really like the rootbeer floats too! From my experience, the staff has been friendly and efficient. We usually grab our food to go, but the restaurant is pretty spacious for those dining in and seems to be nice and clean! read more

Yeah, this place is a bona fide shit hole. I had to wait 25 minutes with no rush for Berger. The shake they gave me was not even blended. They just poured chocolate syrup on top. This is one of my go to places on a road trip if you need a fast food place. They have a gf bun that is doable and their French fries are very good. The burgers are a cut above most fast food chains and i highly recommend a stop here. Service is good in some locations and not as great in others so be prepared for that. Some locations are very clean and well kept up, but some, not so much. Once again it is a step above most fast food joints. read more

It's sad, because this used to be a really great location. I'm not sure if it has new management or what is going on, but the quality has significantly gone down in the last few months, in virtually all areas. Today I went in at 3, and it wasn't busy at all, yet the tables were disgusting. The "manager" was just chilling with some other employees at a table, then yells at them, "we got two coming in" as if now everyone needs to snap to action, and as if those two people can't hear that? It's kind of ridiculous. I get a mini concrete with Oreo and peanut butter. Some confused person, whose first day it must have been, brings me a medium turtle sundae. I told her what I ordered. Then she brings me a sad looking mini that only had oreo in it. I brought it back, and said it's missing the peanut butter. Then she brought that and it looked even worse. It was mostly melted, and in 6 bites it was gone. A whole lot of nothing for 5 dollars and 30 cents. I won't be making that mistake again. Dude who took my order had his name tag on backwards. I could go on and on and on; this place is an absolute crapshow right now. Everyone acts so fake, the place is just downright dirty with nobody apparently willing to clean, and the quality of the food has taken a nosedive right into the toilet. Guess I'll start going to the Irving park one. Depressing, because this one is only a couple of blocks from me. Whomever is in charge of this location needs a reality check. read more

This Culver's is a great location. Right off the train line. I happen to live in the area and will say the walk to it is very pleasant. I got the deluxe burger basket and the flavor of the day. You can go wrong with the deluxe with fries. They fries happen to be extremely fresh as you could see the heat emitting off the fries after you bite into them. The manager on duty was also really accommodating as I had a coupon that I was using for my offer! Will definitely coming back in August for my monthly meal. read more

So look Culver's is great but it looks like they need to pay their staff more or get different staff or manage the place better. There doesn't seem to be enough and the ones that are here don't care enough. The floors are sticky, they're out of ice, and service is slow. In addition they didn't bother to melt the cheese on my burger which came out cold. Curds are still solid, but literally the only saving grace. This place is consistent no matter the locations. The double burger is great as the toppings are wonderful. Consider checking out the Ruben: I heard from someone while waiting for my burgers this was worth it. The service is friendly and efficient too. The basic decor and unlimited ketchup and sodas are worth it if your dining in, and so is the root beer float. Just ask for a second cup as it's mostly custard. read more

Every now and then I get a craving for a burger, fries and a shake that is not from Micky D's or Burger King and this place works for me. Definitely not haute cuisine, but it hits the spot when I have that craving. This location is definitely easier to get to than driving to the burbs. Very easy to place your order via the online ordering system and it allows you the luxury of telling them when you want your order picked up. The restaurant is clean and the staff is very friendly. There is also a walk-up window outside to place and pick up orders. It is great that they have constructed a structure around the windows, complete with heat lamps (very toasty), so you are not waiting in the cold to place or pick up your order. Unlike the burbs, there is no parking lot, but there is street parking around. Food was hot and tasty when I picked it up and the shake was nice and thick. read more

Had a pickup order. It took almost 30 mins to get our food and when we got home we noticed that they shorted us a $15 salad. Their solution was to replace it, but we had to come back within 7 days to get it. Not going to visit this location anymore. The one on Irving Park is so much better and well run. read more

I am so happy that someone decided to open a Culver's near me in the city!! One thing I missed about my commute to the northern suburbs for work was a trip to Culver's! Culver's is such a great addition to the Ravenswood community. The restaurant itself is brighter and more modern than the Culver's I've been to in the past. Rather than a drive-thru window (which I didn't see), the restaurant had a "walk-thru" window, which patrons can order from and wait outside for their order as opposed to going into the restaurant. We ventured out to this location a couple weeks after its grand opening and were very pleasantly surprised at how well oiled and smooth the new restaurant was running! The employees were so kind and friendly! You were greeted at the door, and when you stepped up to the counter to place an order. Our orders came out timely, and The burger was absolutely delicious! There's free parking on the side streets, but unfortunately, unlike it's suburban counterparts-no parking lot available (surprise surprise!). read more

We ordered delivery last night from your location, through UberEATS. Time 8:19p. Order number AAAJFL8X9QES. The delivery service was fantastic!! The food was hot upon delivery. One item was the mushroom/swiss burger. While the burger was good, I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with the mushrooms!! The burger literally had 3 SMALL SLIVERS OF MUSHROOMS in the middle of the burger. To give reference, if you put the slivers together, they would have been the size of a nickel. How can you call this a mushroom/swiss burger??!! If you were out of mushrooms, you could have called to ask if we wanted to replace the burger with something else!! My wife's portion of the order included mashed potatoes with gravy. It was basically NO GRAVY, unless you count the HALF TEASPOON of gravy??!! Needless to say, it had no gravy!! Is that the normal??!! Other than that, the rest of the order was good. Went here for lunch on a Saturday. Its one of the bigger locations I have seen and nice to see one in the city. Plenty of seating and a separate area for online orders/to go during busier periods. Ordered a double butterburger with cheese with fries, and it was great. Got my food in less than 5 minutes, which was awesome. I tried their unsweetened ice tea, and it was just okay. Ended up getting a fountain drink instead. They seem to have a good amount of staff working here. They were nice and friendly. Parking may be a little difficult, but if you live in the area and can walk instead, its a nice option for a quick bite to eat. Will come back! read more

I think everything here is impressive. The dining room is spacious and clean. They have an in-house veggie burger that's actually very good. Fries are nice and crispy. The standout, however, is the staff! They are trying very hard (and succeeding) at customer service. Every employee greeted me when I arrived and they all had an upbeat and friendly attitude. I waited almost 2 weeks to hear back from Culver's about this experience, which given that food poisoning in prepared salads is a thing, I figured I would hear back. But no..... So here is the information they received regarding my trip there. There was mud in the rotten lettuce they served and I waited 20 minutes beyond the pick up time for that little extra! I had a disappointing experience at a Culver's in Chicago (1819 W. Montrose). First, I was going to write a bad Yelp review because I was disappointed in the 20 minute wait since I had ordered online ahead for my family's dinner (5:51 for a 6:15 pick up; food was ready at 6:35). But then when my husband began to eat the Cashew Chicken Salad at home, the 20 minute wait seemed like a lesser concern. That is because there was literally dirt in his food. Yes there was also a very large lettuce root in his salad, which you can see in the photos (and some of the lettuce was rotten), but attached to that are clumps of mud. It may not be too surprising that vegetation sometimes comes with roots attached, but it is a little tough to swallow that salads are being served at Culver's that may have mud in them. That is not something we signed up for when we spent $40 at Culver's tonight. It  would be great to have a refund for tonight's dinner and some sort of reassurance that Culver's will try not to serve mud to its customers in the future. read more

I have come to this location a few times now, but am sadly am frustrated every time. The food is Culver's quality, but they are very poorly managed and seem to be grossly understaffed. The wait times at non-peak hours are obnoxious (30+min), and can't even begin for a visit during peak hours. They mismanage orders, the staff seem consistently overwhelmed, and there's a lot of angry customers waiting. I would not recommend going back here anytime soon until they fix their operations. read more

She was the one who took my order too. They allowed her to leave work to jump my car for me. Not only that, they remade all the food for me so it was fresh!!!
