a receipt on a counter - A paper slip with a printed message is placed on a granite countertop. The message reads, "You will display great bravery when faced with adversity," and is attributed to Panda Express. The slip has blue tape on each corner, securing it to the surface. The background shows a textured, multicolored granite countertop.

It was only a matter of time that I would visit Panda Express for its beyond the original orange chicken being that I am vegetarian. The addition of it on the menu has given me a reason to visit Panda Express. I found that this location was one of the closer ones to me while out conducting errands nearby. Riverpoint Center, the shopping center where this location sits has an ample amount of parking. I loved some of the stores within this shopping center because not only was I able to visit Panda Express, but I managed to get some grocery shopping done at Jewel-Osco, and Aldi which I had intended on visiting later in the evening. Prior to ordering, I contemplated grabbing takeout but ended up dining in once I paid for my meal. I ordered a Panda Bowl (1 Entree & 1 Side) with my entree being fried rice, and my side being beyond the original orange chicken as visited for. Once I chose my entree and side, my order moved in an assembly line fashion towards the register similar to a Chipotle Mexican Grill. The employee who assisted me was very patient as I picked my entree and side. And at the register, an employee by the name of Melanie took care of me sending me off with my order. I was satisfied with the visual appeal of the beyond the original orange chicken along with its freshness, and its taste which is as satisfying as the original orange chicken in my opinion. I liked it a lot and found myself trying to savor each enjoyable bite of it. As a whole I had a satisfying experience at this Panda Express location. Likely, I will not visit this particular location regularly due to it not being in an area I frequent, but best believe I will make my way out to the closest one to where I live. ~Blessings~   Thomas G

Let's verify the entrees too if that's what we put in the bag. - The image displays a crumpled receipt from Panda Express in Chicago, IL. The receipt lists food items including fried rice, Mongolian beef, and egg rolls, along with special instructions and contact information. The receipt appears to be placed on a dark surface, possibly a car seat or table.

Just left your restaurant #1975 for a pickup. Came back because we were missing two egg rolls and napkins. When we notified the employee, she immediately said she knew for a fact that egg rolls were in the bag. Because she bagged it. But gave us the egg rolls anyways. We wouldn't have driven back to the restaurant if we had them. It was a lunch break. I'm every food service workers cheerleader. But to immediately call a customer a liar is not good business. #24834425765773316

The image shows a dead insect, likely a wasp or bee, positioned next to a crumpled receipt from Panda Express. The receipt displays details such as the date, time, order number, and food items, including a large orange chicken entrée. The surface appears to be a white paper or napkin.

Tomight, after acting class in Park Forest, IL, my grandson asked for Panda Express. I went to the one in Matteson, IL on Lincoln Hwy. He ordered what he always does. Large box of Orange Chicken. We got all the way home, he starts to eat then finds a big bug in the container. I've called but after many rings, a recording comes on to say no one's available to answer, goodbye. This is beyond unacceptable! I need someone to answer me or I'm sending this picture of the bug to a lawyer and the media. I'm disgusted! Diane Neals

Be sure to ask for a sample of the honey walnut shrimp.

I stopped by here for a late lunch/early dinner. I ordered the honey walnut shrimp, orange chicken, and fried rice. The food was good for a franchise restaurant. I haven't had the food in awhile, so it was nice to reminisce on the conversations I've had in the past about Panda Express. So overall I enjoyed my meal, and I would probably visit again in the future.

Man I don't know why people hate on Panda Express. You get what you expect. Fast food chinese food. Relatively quick service. Easy parking. Good portions.

Very rude staff not friendly in the slightest. Food is good doesn't make up for bad customer service.

The Chicken Teriyaki, delish! The customer services was decent, but there are usually kids after 4 PM, so the place can get pretty loud.

Apparently this location doesn't serve breakfast. Hopefully saving whoever reads this some time…read more Other than that I haven't had a bad experience here.

I mean, it might be Taco Bell, but that doesn't mean all expectations go out the window…read more I ordered two of my usual favorites: the Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes and a Chalupa Supreme. I also ordered one of their refreshers because Chicago summers are HOT! With the refresher, I accidentally ordered a frozen one. Credit to the staff for allowing my "whoopsie-doodle" and offering to switch to a different one. Since they only come in one size, and not wanting a sugar-bomb, I went for a fountain drink instead (diet option) The Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes were middle of the pack. Not fresh from the fryer, but not cold either; they seemed like they'd been sitting under a high-powered heat lamp instead. As for the Chalupa, this was towards the lower end of what I've had at Taco Bells. The tortilla wasn't toasted whatsoever, and the beef was notably goopy. What accentuated these problems is that this location didn't have salt and pepper, even upon request. In my experience, it's salt and pepper that help bring out the best in Taco Bell, not just the sauces (those are a close second). Without these basics, both the potatoes and chalupa were bland. What this place did have, however, are very high prices. It was downright sticker shock when I saw the chalupa was almost $7. For something this unsatisfying, it is basically highway robbery. In terms of service and staff, considering the Michelin guide isn't stopping by, it was generally good. It did take a little longer to get my food than I would have expected given how dead it was, but not outrageously so. Finally, regarding the location itself, things were clean, but the space was neither comfortable nor inviting. It looks like they'd started some kind of renovation and left it only a third done. Thus, while not horrible-terrible, the experience at this location was underwhelming. There's no shortage of Taco Bells in the Chicagoland area; thus, when the occasional craving strikes, this one will not get a return visit from me.
