This place seemed like it sprouted out of nowhere on the corner of Lincoln & Peterson. Honestly, it felt like I drove by once and there was nothing but the strip mall and then two weeks later almost a fully built Culver's. This one is good as far as Culver's' go. I've been to the restaurant before, but not very often. Usually I'm stopping at Culver's for some cheese curds to have as a snack, which was the case today and I remembered why I don't come here often--it feels pretty expensive to me so I think I only come back when I've forgotten that. They make things to order (or at least some things) and we felt that definitely whilst waiting for the curds to come out. All the cars had left--including the one that placed their order after us--before our order showed up. That's great on the one hand but it will lead to a longer wait time so you'll need to be ready for that. read more

Finally glad there is a local Culver's now in the area. I been here a couple of times and never have been disappointed. Typically I get the double butter burger cheeseburger with cheese curds. Never have had a complaint with the food and service. Tastes as good as the ones in Wisconsin. It has plenty of indoor seating and also has a drive thru service that moves quick as well. Place is well maintained and clean on my visits here. Customer service has been great too. Will continue to come back! read more

Food is good once they give you the right order right after the food is made when the food is hot. It's consistent with the Culver's in Ravenswood on Montrose. The employees are nice, but they're quite overwhelmed, understaffed and undertrained given they need to serve the massive drive through, app/online pick up orders, take out and servicing diners. The guy at the register didn't give us the option to choose the cheese and he was confused when we ordered a milk shake. He said it wasn't on the menu even thought it was on the menu right behind him, but he eventually found the key to press on his ordering pad. My food didn't arrive for over 45 min from the time the order was placed and it turns out it was left forgotten. By the time I went to inquire, they handed me a tray of cold burgers and fries for which I requested them to remake. I waited for the food at the counter for another 10 minutes and when the burger and fries were ready they forgot the milkshake. I went ahead to snarf the meal without the milk shake and went back to check on it on my way out and it was still not ready. It took over an hour to get the milk shake which was fine. Hopefully Culver's sorts the logistics out soon, otherwise avoid during rush hour lunch and dinner. read more

Ive lived in chicago 21 years. Im usually a fan of Culver's and have enjoyed them for years on trips to the burbs. I welcome this chain expanding into chicago, but know what i don't welcome? Puttin a freakin' billboard across the street from Wolfy's, an iconic 55 year old local hotdog, burger and fry place in my neighborhood. As long as this billboard remains i aint visiting any Culver's in the city. I don't appreciate playin dirty with our local businesses. Also the fish sandwich was disappointing. read more

I'm a big fan of Culver's and have been for quite some time however I stopped in for dinner with my family and it appeared to me that nobody wanted to serve us. The counter people we're talking to each other we were still standing in line two people arrived after we did and they took care of them. Again I felt discriminated against. I am American as apple pie I have every right to do or eat whatever I feel like. I'm only venting because these people that have jobs half of them don't even deserve them. I may first class citizen not a second class one. Ambience what ambience we were welcomed to leave. I worked at Culver's in high school (20 years ago) wow and I've been to dozens of them in my life. I got a damn scholarship from the company. I know the chain so well that I order things that are so specific that I need to give employees direction on how to ring it up. In all of my time going to these restaurants, not once before have I experienced what just happened at this location: they were so backed up that they weren't accepting any orders because they had something like 20 tickets sitting and waiting to be prepped. Something is very wrong with your kitchen and with your order management if you have to stop taking walk-in orders at 1pm on a Saturday. O-kay, this'un's from memory, sorry I'm tardy. RE the NEW Culver's at Lincoln and Devon, whose address is on Albany and they should update the Google info so it's locatable....ahem... Couple weeks ago I decided to give them a shot; had previously been to the Culver's on Montrose in My hood, it was OK. This one... ...needs work. And, so, what did I order? Fries. Onion Rings. Two burgers. Chocolate milkshake.... The blow-by-blow: 1. fries. crinkle-cut. but...underdone, not crispy like they should be. 2. onion rings. in a separate, -huge- plastic container (inappropriate and wasteful..), also underdone and -no- competition for IMHO the onionring king, White Castle.... 3. one double swissburger deluxe. meat, bun, veggies O-K, just. 4. one -single- cheeseburger but they putzed the order and made a double, with veggies on-the-side. also just O-K. 5. 'chocolate milkshake'? not. ya can't make a true milkshake with soft-serve pseudo-icecream, it just doesn't work. remembered to bring my Own beverage carrier, thankfully, they don't think of that stuff, apparently. Also the cashier was a bit too soft-spoken, couldn't hear him well; suggest vocal training; I'm, erm, obviously over 65 but had to ask, after the order'ed been rung up, for the Senior Discount (5%). And ALL THIS for only.....$33. Really. S'on a par with Jay's Beef.... ...gimme a break, that's waaay too much for fast food. Noted LOTS of (new?) staff / trainees and one older fella and woman, the manager, who processed the discount, thanks. We all should buy stock, given the prices they charge...but they're privately owned, like Five Guys, which I also don't think very highly of. My sincere suggestion: buy potatoes, ground beef, buns, condiments and make your own burgers and fries. Overall, I find the quality of most fast-food places has declined severely over the last few years. If ONLY...Burger King would merge!? with McDonald's..then we'd have great fries and good burgers.
