It's rare that I am able to get to this part of town since I live a bit a ways from here. When I am in the area, I usually crave a bahn mi. Ba le definitely hits the spot! I usually get a sandwich or 2 to share along with their hot appetizers and dishes and a dessert. It doesn't take long for any items ordered at the counter to be ready. The lone also moves pretty fast. We are happy with what we get and make promises to come back and try something else we haven't had yet on the next visit.

The lemon grass pork is marinated pretty good however, the seasoning is a little bit salty so if we can adjust that, maybe less salty then it would be perfect. The pickled radish, cilantro and jalapeños are fresh. The cashier is okay. The store was crowded and wait time was 10'.

A classic in the neighborhood for good food and lots of to go options. Really quick service. They have tons of vegetarian and vegan options which was really nice to see.

I ordered three Banh Mis from here. They have a small menu, sandwiches for the most part, and what they offer I would say is somewhat unique. My wife and son both ordered their Lemongrass Pork Banh Mi and I ordered their Vietnamese Pork. Both seemed to be in a sausage form instead of sliced meat. My Vietnamese pork came with sliced honey sausage, topped with peanut sauce and scallions. A damn good sandwich. The lemongrass pork came with lemongrass sausage and served with lemon fish sauce. I really enjoyed my sandwich, and it seems like the rest of my family wasn't a big fan of the sausages. I would definitely be returning.

I've been here so many times and it's always a hit or miss with the service and food. We mostly order shredded chicken bahmin and today it was really good. Bread wasn't too dry and service was good. I hope to find another consistent place in the neighborhood.

I paid extra money for delivery as well more than the sander

I ordered through door dash and asked for extra jalapeño's and yet it was standard or to be honest nothing at all. Also, no pate in my sandwich.

Ba le is great sandwiches and Vietnamese ham- cha gio. My kids love to eat the Vietnamese ham. The price did increase from my last visit, it is currently about $15 per Vietnamese ham. The sandwich has different options. I usual go with the special- dac biet sandwich. Besides this they have other options, such as Vietnamese yogurt and Vietnamese mayonnaise for sale. Service was quick. Ordered at the cashier and wait on the side of the cashier for pick up.

My friends favorite bun mi cafe. They also have ready to go desserts, entree, and meats on a table for purchase. My friends ordered sandwiches to take home. Everything on the table and fridge is self serve, just pay at the counter. Otherwise order sandwich and other entree at the counter. Cafe has 1 long table to sit and wait for your order, perhaps eat. But I didn't get the vibe to dine in since everything was packed to go.

Moved to this area over a year ago and finally am trying it out. Upon walking in, you can order from a touch pad computer which made it easier for me to look at options and modify if needed. They also email you a receipt via email which is great. Onto the food: ordered a Chinese Char siu pork Banh mi and a beef Banh mi. Both were very good, but I preferred the Char Siu. The consistency of the bread was fresh and exactly how Banh Mi should be. I didn't like that the Vietnamese coffee I also ordered automatically came with a ton of sugar and milk. I wish it started off as a black coffee and you add as needed. It was way too sweet. Overall - a very decent spot to come grab a Banh Mi. The inside is very modern and nice. I was surprised!

Needed some Vietnamese food while traveling and I found this place! I was craving an avocado smoothie (yes it is actually really really good) and refreshing and had some spring rolls and banh mi. There isn't really seating inside but you can sit outside. They have an outdoor patio but you can't walk back in from the door so you have to go around. Kinda annoying and something I did remember when trying to get my order.

Best banh mi I can find in the area and they are consistent. They actually will put extra pate and mayo if you ask.

Once you're in its cozy and casual and they operate like a well-oiled machine. Friendly, fast, and furious. There are so many delicious pastries I wanted to try but didn't have enough time. We definitely had to take some home for later and I would do it again, but get even more! The black sesame and ube coconut cold brews were definitely a great way to start. These were perfectly sweetened drinks that hit the spot and satisfied our tummies while we waited for the main events. I would order both again without hesitation. Yum! Ube huckleberry Basque cake - if you're familiar with the Spanish almond tortes, it was very much like that. Crispy outside and dense cake-like inside. The huckleberry balanced out the sweetness of the ube jam. Very nice! Black truffle croissant, one of the best pastries I've had. Filled with Delice de Bourgogne cheese (my fave) and topped with shaved truffles and rock sugar. A very nice play between sweet and savory...but $16! For me, worth the splurge, 100%! Ube coconut ensaymada. I don't care for ensaymada but had to try this one. It's filled with an ube cream and the big difference is that this had a nice crispy crust, soft inside, and no sugary butter "frosting" (which I don't like in a traditional version). Definitely good but I don't have to have it again. Breakfast sandwich with cheddar cheese, soufflé egg, longaniza, and crispy hash brown between a soft sandwich bun. No sauces needed, the flavors stand out themselves. We need to make this at home, guys. One of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had. The hash brown adds some nice crisp to what would otherwise be a soft sandwich. If I did it at home I'd skip the hash brown and just crisp up the buns on a fry pan to save some calories, lol. Tocino and longaniza--Perfectly fried egg over garlic fried rice with tocino and longanisa, served with pickled green papaya and garnished with cilantro, mint, and green onion. Leveled up for sure with a higher cut of pork for the tocino, but the longanisa didn't impress at all. It was not packed with the full flavor of a good sweet, tart and spicy longanisa that I know. It was more tame and westernized which I think didn't do justice to Filipino cuisine. Albeit, I will say that I didn't have that longaniza after effect that longaniza eaters know too well-- you know what I mean! Ok, last but not least -- chicken adobo. Had to have this and so glad I did. This was my favorite dish and I'm going to bring some of what I've learned back to the home kitchen. This is sliced chicken thigh. It looks like it was marinated and then grilled, topped with a nicely balanced adobo sauce and smothered with chicken skin palapa (scallion, ginger, toasted coconut), and a side of pickled green papaya. D-freakn-licious! This was definitely leveled up adobo!!! I regretted not having reservations for their fine dining experience during my short Chicago stay.

This is a fast casual spot so service was pretty fast. There is a decent amount of seating, most of which was surprisingly taken around 11am on a Thursday. For starters, they no longer have their rainbow cake! I was surprised to hear that considering how popular it's supposed to be. We got both banana lattes which were extremely sweet. It's basically dessert with a hint or caffeine. I'm a big fan of banana, so I actually liked this but I would've preferred half the sweetness. The Turkey Bacon & Egg Croissant was so good! A solid breakfast sandwich - the eggs were cooked perfectly, the turkey bacon was insanely crispy, and that sambal aioli was just what this needed. I highly recommend adding Avocado like I did for some freshness & creaminess since it's a heavy sandwich as is. The Cinnamon Roll was soft, moist, and not overly sweet. Overall, I really enjoyed this breakfast!
