Been waiting for this place to open. Officially opened Monday May 8. We were out and about this evening and decided to check it out. Long line but waited less than 5 minutes which gave us time to view the menu. Great selection. Order was placed and we found a great table outside. Just love outdoor seating when the weather is nice. Our food was brought to us quickly and it was GREAT. A very good burger and my favorite type of French fries- crinkle cut! And the milk shake was awesome as well. I am from Wisconsin and I have lived in Orlando for 8 years waiting for a Culver's to open up here. Culver's is nostalgic for me, but I really do love the food. The concrete shakes (especially seasonal pumpkin) are ah-mazing. You gotta try the cheese curds. Of course the crinkle cut fries are a standout, the crispy edges of the butter burger is something I've missed more than anything....I wish one was closer to me on the east side, but maybe it's best for my waistline that there isn't. Better than fast food. Culver provides a better tasting option to most fast food places. They deliver your meals to the car or even to the table, which is nothing you are used to when walking into a fast food restaurant. However, by doing this, the drive thru is much slower than it should be and you're sitting stuck behind cars that didn't receive their food yet. read more

What a place. Friendly, helpful employees. Place your order, go sit down and your food comes to your table. Burgers are to die for. Many sides and selections for your meal. The concrete is awesome. They only have one flavor a day so check out the website to find out what's on the menu for that day. I've never had a bad ice cream flavor. The only bad thing is this place is dangerous. Tastes about the same as Steak and Shake up the road (but S&S has way better French fries). This review is based on the taste of the food mainly. Service was decent, they seemed to have to many employees working (there is such a thing as to many ducks in the pond to achieve one goal). The burgers were nothing spectacular mine was slightly dry and I did not taste the butter on the bun or burger. The cheese was your typical American cheese you get anywhere pre sliced. The onion rings were ok, my mom who loves onion rings actually liked the cheese curds (which were more like friend mozzarella) over the onion rings. The best part of the meal was the root beer, I decided to try it because personally I do not like Pepsi (this was also a main complaint from people around us, eh they have Pepsi was the general comment). I don't think it will be somewhere I frequent for a burger and fries. Maybe for the frozen custard and shakes but I could not even try that my stomach was so upset from just the burger before even leaving. The place is also a mad house with the line wrapping around the inside of the building making it uncomfortable to sit at half the tables and eat because people are bumping into your table to your chair while in line. Maybe it will get better and the shakes will make it all worth it but for now it's just a faster version of S&S up the road for the same price if not more. (The comparison in this review was based on having S&S yesterday and Culver's today.) read more

A coupon enticed me to check out the newest place in town, but I will be back! Went through the drive thru. We had butter burgers and split some cheese curds. Tasty! I would order the burger with no Mayo next time, but it was great! They were so busy, we had to wait a couple of extra minutes. The workers were literally RUNNING the orders out to the cars. When have I seen workers care like that? Service with a smile, and even with the wait, better and QUICKER food, and much nicer staff. I will be back to try the custard! read more

This is our new favorite place for Burgers and Frozen Custard. Super impressed with the service and food quality. I got the deluxe double and my wife and son got the single butter burger, my son lit up with the first bite and said "wow this is really good!" We also sampled the fried cheese curds and French Fries both of which were excellent. Their frozen chocolate custard was rich and creamy but not overly sweet. Very poor customer service from manager regarding a misunderstanding with an order. I will not come here again. I wasn't asking for a different sandwich or anything, just clarification on my order that came with cheese and I can't eat dairy. Managers don't need to argue with customers, PERIOD. Went here after the winter park Christmas parade. Never heard of this place before but the menu looked good online. Automatically noticed how nice and clean the place is inside. Very nice staff which is not typical for fast food. Ordered chicken tenders for the kids, chicken sandwich for my wife and I had a bacon double cheeseburger. Without a doubt, one of the best burgers I have ever had in my life! My wife is a chick-fil-a fanatic and she commented how good her chicken sandwich was. Lots of choices very busy but the line moved along. I ordered the Reuben and onion ring with the concrete mixer Oreo cookie flavor, yum. My friends had a salad and the butter burgers all were eaten! I'm giving this restaurant two stars -- not for the food but for the nice couple we met who sat next to us and for the friendly employees. Culver's seems to undertstand at this location that it's important to hire nice people and teach them to do the job since you can't teach people to be nice. Okay Culver's -- now you need to train your sweet and enthusiastic employees. I thought it might have been opening night but found out they'd been open about a month. Young woman taking the order got it hopelessly wrong. Several times. Thought she finally had it right -- only to receive the wrong sides. And wrong topping on the burgers. When I told the server who brought the food (sweet young man) he snatched the fries and came back a short time later with the onion rings that were ordered. Only he dropped some, picked them up with his bare hands and threw them on top of the side of rings. GEEZE! Did I really see that? Yes, sadly I did. The burger was fair. The price was not. Malt was -- thick. Not a fan of Pepsi products. Would recommend Steak 'n Shake for the same enthusiastic sweet employee experience, better food, better prices and far better shakes/malts -- and COCA COLA products. Can't say I'll go back again. ive been to the culvers in port orange and its super good everytime ive been ive never had a problem. i visited this one cause its close to my house. i went with the drive thru cause it was kind of busy all around & i ordered a bacon deluxe with no onions with a value basket & as i was driving towards the exit i noticed i didnt get my fries so i parked in a parking spot and went inside and i was greeted with great service immediately even though people were waiting in line to order their food the manager noticed me walk in with my bag in my hand and helped me out right away. but then i drove home to find out that i got a single burger with onions & no bacon... & i can understand it was sort of busy but not busy enough for this to happen. im not sure if its the employees or what but i will continue to go to this store and continue to give it a chance because i know what potential a good culvers has. read more
