The Burger Vault has great burgers and insane wait times. Casual Friday. You just got off work. You want to grab something quick to eat that is a little greasy. This was my thoughts when I chose Burger Vault. Burger Vault offers burgers and other greasy bites that are all halal. This is just to say that it is consumable based on Islamic beliefs, which is just that meat is prepared in a humane manner. I did have to Google that. It's good to learn and educate yourself. First impressions when I walked in is that it's very popular. As a note, it's also close to The Collective if you're into cards, board games, and other geeky things. Grab a burger and then walk to The Collective. Resuming the review, it's very busy. Like no place to sit busy. Regardless, we thought that we were taking the food to go so that's not really an issue. I ordered the Mozza Melt, which is a 5.3 oz beef patty with fried mozzarella, lettuce, onions, mushrooms, and a sauce. It's as artery clogging as it sounds and worth every bite. I didn't go there to be healthy. The burger cost $15. What I wish I saw was that you can customize every burger and every patty can be done as a smashed patty. I personally prefer that because I like how crispy the edges get. That's on me, I just ordered it medium. Additionally, we got curly fries with cajun seasoning and a pistachio milkshake. The fries were $5. The shake was $10. For the rating, the burger was insane and huge. I felt stuffed by it and other than me not getting it smashed, it was great. I gave it a 7.5/10 for the burger. The pistachio shake gets a 9/10, huge pistachio pieces. The fries are a 10/10. They're curly fries. Love those. All that being said, we waited 30+ minutes for the food. We got it to go. There was no where to sit because all the booths were occupied, so just standing for the majority of it. The staff was really accommodating but I think they were just not prepared to push out as much as was being ordered. So for a $30+ meal with tip and tax, having to wait that long is a bit much. Overall, I would rate it a 7.5/10. I may or may not come back. I mean the food is good, but maybe it's a random Tuesday type of place. read more

Came here on a Friday evening. The workers were friendly and rang us up quickly and got to work on our order. I got the BBQ burger and potato wedges. I never been to a place where that was an option. They had curly fries, wedges, or sweet potato fries as a side option! The burger was delicious! Perfectly cooked, hot and fresh, and flavorful! The restaurant is kinda small but had a cool vibe and clean restrooms. They were playing the World Cup games on huge TVs inside so we got to enjoy that while we ate. We came in for lunch and had a great experience. The restaurant was clean and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. For my meal, I got The Vault burger combo. The burger came with a single patty, sauce, beef bacon, cheese, and some veggies. Everything was well seasoned and perfectly prepared. The burger was so juicy and all the toppings were fresh. The fries were crispy and well seasoned. They don't have a soft drink machine, so everything is canned and bottled in the fridge. Overall a great experience! I tried the mixed vault burger and it was delicious. The sweet chili sauce was perfect to balance the savory burger. The burgers are a bit messy to eat so I appreciated that they even provided gloves at the tables. Curly fries and mozzarella sticks were perfectly crisp and very tasty. Not usually a fan of mozzarella sticks but these were made well and the cheese did not separate while eating. Despite a great meal, I have to say the star of the show for me was their pistachio milkshake. It was not overly sweet and did not have an artificial taste. They blended real pistachio in the shake and the flavor really came through. I'd come back just to have it again. I had high hopes for this place. Love the name of the business, it's clean and Halal but I was disappointed. My burger looked good (Mushroom burger) and the sauce was just ok but the burger itself tasted like nothing at all. The onion rings were good but I wish we had a dipping sauce for them. I think you have to ask for it. Idk if you have to add it as extra or not. The loaded fries were disappointing also. They had what tastes like a Tyson chicken patty cut up on top with a yellow cheese sauce and pickled jalapeños. Not special at all. The music doesn't match the aesthetic either. It was only like 1940's blues. This is coming from someone who listens to all types of music. I love it all. Maybe consider a mixture of sounds/music. Service was ok but everyone looked tired the cashier and cooks. Barely any smiles at 8PM and we kept making eye contact. It's a small place so it's hard not to see each other lol This place stays open late and they are in a great spot. There were about 5 families eating inside. Very clean, but a one man show and he kept disappearing to the back and coming back empty handed. Everything is fresh to order, so if you're in a rush (lunch) order ahead because it was about a 20-30min wait. I got the vault burger, sold on the beef bacon and smoked cheese. It was one small strip of bacon and not a fully melted slice of cheese. The sauce made the burger because the patty wasn't seasoned, and it's a big bun. Also, expect to pay more for everything. I stopped in for a quick snack, after a visit to LensCrafters. I felt the restaurant was clean and was looking forward to great fries as a snack. It was 11:40 and the place had 0 customers, which I thought a little surprising as well. This is counter order service. I found the fries to be typical frozen fries, with some type of crusting for crispiness on them. Nothing great at all for $4.99. I did browse the menu and found it to be quite expensive for hamburgers, but there may be others that have differing opinions. Next, I ordered a bottle of water. I think $1.99 for "Great Value" - Walmart water is pricey. If they want to grow a brand, they should at least offer higher end bottle water for the price. Great fresh food cooked to order so not your typical fast food meal. We had the egg bacon burger and just a regular cheese burger (which was anything but basic!) Egg bacon was the perfect amount of messy while still being edible. Bacon was cooked crisp but not burnt. The basic burger was still loaded with flavor thanks to the caramelized onions which were more like a sauce than actual large onions. Service to order was quick and friendly. Took about 15 minutes to get food after ordering but everything is made to order and fresh, plus we had a big party order right before us. Ambiance is just ok. Plain hamburger had everything on it Spicy fried chicken had nothing on it but everything was requested. Needless.to say one meal was thrown out since the person could not eat spices and the other 2 were very disappointed.
