I first heard about Culver's on the How I Built This podcast, where I was struck with how the values of family and quality are built into the blueprint of this place. Over the years since then, I've tried many different menu items and have never been disappointed. The star of the show is the Butter Burger. This is not your average fast food burger, but reminds me more of a burger i would grill up at home because of how fresh and high quality the ingredients are. It's put together with care and comes in a delightful box. Don't forget to try a custard while you're there. Thicker than ice cream and comes with toppings/mix in of your choice. They have a new custard special daily which means there is always something new to try. Honorable mention goes to the patty melt, which comes on delicious sourdough bread instead of the traditional bun. It's spectacular and worth a try once you've become acquainted with the butter burger. Last but not least, Culver's service is top notch (similar to Chick fil a) with kind staff and organized systems that make the drive through enjoyable. Online ordering is a breeze too. Today we tried the grilled chicken sandwich and I actually might become my favorite thing to get! I paired it with fries but next time I think I'll get the steamed broccoli as I'm trying to eat healthier. My kid got his standard chocolate ice cream with m&ms and my mom got her favorite chocolate strawberry ice cream. The ice cream is the real driver here as I love the rotating flavors. The meat and all of the ingredients at Culver's are always fresh, and I love their crinkle-cut fries! I always order the Triple Butterburger with Cheese with "the works" (pickle, onion, mustard, and ketchup) and it never disappoints. And this is the BEST location in the area! There is another Culver's in Apopka, but their burgers don't taste nearly as fresh. I have to admit, we almost left because we didn't feel like waiting behind a long line of 20+ cars. However, we decided to stick around and to our surprise, the line moved at lightning speed. The staff taking our order were incredibly friendly and got everything right, no mistakes whatsoever. Now, here's the best part - they had this amazing outdoor seating area that was just so cool! We parked ourselves there and enjoyed our meal. Let me just say, those burgers were out of this world. Fresh, juicy, and cooked to absolute perfection. It's mind-blowing to think that this is fast-food we're talking about here. And the fries? Oh boy, they were hot, seasoned, and cooked to perfection. They even have their own root beer, which in my humble opinion, gives A&W a run for its money. I have paid three times the price at fancy restaurants and resorts for burgers and food that didn't even come close to this quality. My son loves to come here whenever we get a special one on one time (he's 6)! Not only is the food absolutely delicious, but the staff is so so friendly and with every kids meal, you get one free scoop of custard with a topping! This time my son couldn't choose between chocolate or vanilla so the friendly staff member suggested we get both and placed one scoop of each in a cup for him. It totally made his day! I first tried place in Wisconsin because it came recommended. I was so happy when they started opening a few locations in Florida. They are cheap, delicious and fresh. It's the only fast good restaurant besides chick fil a that I eat at. If you go during the fall season you have to try their pretzel bun pub burger. Also instead of ketchup order the Wisconsin cheese sauce to dip your fries in. It's incredible. And to finish off your meal, try their frozen custard. It's the best thing ever.
