Came here one day with a couple of boys who were in town. We were in the mood for burgers, Cow & Cheese was on my list, so I'm like, two birds, one stone, let's see how this place is. Turns out, this place was five star magnificent. Ambiance was great. The word cloud of all these reviews probably has the word vibe at the very top. Chill, great music, great murals plastered all over the place. It was very cozy and relaxing. Service was great. The people behind the counter were very friendly, had 420-friendly vibes of their own, and banged out our food in an appropriate time. The food itself was really surprisingly good. The menu is pretty simple, but that was a great thing. Smash burgers thrive off of simplicity. I had the DCDC Double Cow XDouble Cheese (Two smashed beef patties each topped with premium American cheese and CC sauce, all on a freshly baked toasted brioche bun). Delicious. The patties were cooked really well. Lots of contact with the grill, yielding all those delicious crispy bits you want here. Cheese just barely melted on top, adding some ooey gooey, but also acting at the spackle to keep the patty from falling to pieces. And the bun was a buttery brioche indeed, but also strong enough to hold all of this mess in place. Just a 10/10 smash burger. I also got to try The DOC (Ok-style - thinly sliced onions smashed into two beef patties each topped with premium American cheese, CC sauce, and deeply caramelized onions, all on a fresh baked toasted brioche bun). Same goodness. The onions added a little bit of a sweetness and a little bit of a bite at the same time. Just a preference of onion really, if you want to order this. Now, here is the important part of the review. No matter what else you order, you have to get the Kwame B's Secret Rub Fries (Our Crispy Crinkle-cut Fries Tossed Generously in Kwame B's Secret Rub Seasoning! This special seasoning blend features an incredible mix of flavors with notes of smokey, sweet, salty, and umami). Every part of that rub description is accurate. Smoke, sweet salt, umami, all at once. Yes, this place might have the best smash burgers in Orlando, but this place Definitely has the best crinkle cut fries in the whole state. Burgers were DELICIOUS. Fries were meh. I was expecting more from the secret rub fries, but they pretty much taste it like barbecue potato chips in terms of flavoring. Everything was cooked fresh to order. AGAIN... THE BURGERS WERE BOMB! My one complaint is that I ordered online and when I got there, I decided to order wings as well. So while waiting for my burger, I ordered wings. I asked if I could have my other food while I waited for my wings and they hadn't even started my burgers. They had forgotten to check the machine for incoming orders I suppose. So that irked me a bit because I had a sleeping four year-old waiting in the car with my sick pregnant girlfriend. However, the customer service from the time I got there was great...so I cut them some slack. The wings LOOKED amazing, but I probably wouldn't get them again. They lacked flavor and seasoning. Now I am a bit of a wing connoisseur lol... so maybe for somebody else they are sufficient. But it's a no for me. Also they are very picky about splitting flavors and will not allow you to split flavors on anything lower than a 20 piece which is nuts. I was a bit nervous about coming here today because when I ate at the other location, it was so fantastic that I was afraid that this location was gonna let me down. However it was just as good. Ken was on the grill today and he made an amazing double cheeseburger for me. The fries are wonderful. They have the best seasoning on them and they're perfectly cooked crinkle fries. The highlight here is probably their CC house sauce which is just amazing with the fries and the burger. Don't sleep on it! I've been to Cow & Cheese before for a burger and it was really delicious so for this visit I decided to try the wings. When walking into Cow & Cheese I was greeted by a friendly worker who explained the menu to me. Once I figured out my selection I made my way to the kiosk and placed my order. While waiting for my food to be brought to me I sat in the large dinning area and listened to the old school hip hop they were playing. Once I received my food I opened my boxes and the food was so hot smoke was billowing out. The fries and wings were perfectly crisp. I got my wings tossed in Buffalo honey sauce and it was delicious. I also got a side of ranch and it tasted fresh and homemade, one of the best sides of ranch I've had. The wings were also a good size, nice and meaty, not too big and not too small. They also have really good prices for wings, so delicious wings at a reasonable price is always a win in my book. Can't wait to come back and try some of the other wing sauces. read more

Cos & Cheese makes a tasty burger and fries. It's definitely a greasy smash burger spot, and they do that well, but it's heavy and a bit pricey for what you get. The food tends to linger with you afterward. The people who work there are always great and genuinely friendly. Unbelievably good food. First of all, the BEST customer service. The manager made us feel so welcomed and valued. Took care of us from beginning to end. We got burgers and they were possibly the best smashburgers ever. So crazy good. Sauce is off the chain. Got fries. Perfectly crispy and we upgraded and got their special seasoning. Similar to eating a bbq potato chip (flavor wise). Awesome. The manager came to check on us as we were finishing and offered us a sampling of wings on the house to try. I ordered The Doc with lettuce and tomato today, the long wait seemed promising to a good meal, but unfortunately the lettuce and tomato was not added and my burger meat was quite literally almost FULLY raw. I will say the team was pretty efficient in getting orders out with the wait they had, but at the price of receiving missing ordered toppings raw meat.. I would've taken the longer wait time. I don't see myself returning to this location, which is unfortunate because I wanted to love it, but unfortunately I also cannot recommend this place to anyone. (p.s. Staff greets you when you arrive! There's monitors for a self check-in service. The menu has changed and prices have increased. A double burger is now costing $10 and there was no option available to select a single. Since it's a smash style burger, a double is a good sized portion and it had a fresh, good taste. I would have preferred more sauce on mine. I also didn't see an option for caramelized onions and think that would be an added bonus. Plenty of free parking available. I have found my new favorite Burger spot. I was in the area for business and decided to stop by to get a burger. The service was great. They greeted me at the door. The manager came over to help explain the menu options. I was able to decide which burger I wanted. The order was done via touch screen order and cash-less payment. I ordered the Triple Cow x Triple Cheese with French Fries. I enjoyed every inch of that burger. The 3 layers of meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles and the CC sauce. The burgers here are really really good. But even à la cart a burger alone will set you back $8 without any frills. All the employees here are great and very helpful with special requests. My son wants a plain burger and he absolutely loved it. Ate every single bite. The decor is all hand drawn and very unique. There is plenty of seating in the place. The music we heard in the place had some lyrics I didn't necessarily want my 9 year old to hear (shake ya a**) and it was good and loud but he didn't seem to notice but I would be mindful hanging out in the dining room if you are sensitive to that kind of stuff. It definitely fits the theme of the restaurant. GREAT food however. read more

Ok I'm not too happy right now. Have been going to Kwame's Chicken Fire for years. The only way I could try Cow & Cheese was to have someone else order it online for me to whom I made the instructions explicitly clear! They don't take cash or orders over the phone which led to me being overcharged and not getting my beer cheese. It was my first time and the burger was delicious! The CC sauce I asked for onside and I'm glad I did as I only used a little bit. I never got the beer cheese because it was too many avenues to go through and I was overcharged for the pickles for the same reason. The pickles are free but because again I had to go through another person and an app and not be there in person = no beer cheese and a charge for pickles. So I don't think I can revisit because it's too hard to get what I want between being overcharged and an item not being included that I really wanted to try. read more

The line at Cow & Cheese was LONG! There are self-serve kiosks - 1 for burgers and 1 for wings. The ordering process was simple BUT the waiting is the reason I'm only giving this place 4 stars. I understand they're busy but I'd approximate wait times being about 20-30 minutes after ordering. Stopped by to grab a bite while I waited for my car to get serviced. Was craving a burger so I searched for nearby burger joints close to the dealership. Cow & Cheese looked appealing to me based on the photos and reviews I read. They're known for their smash burgers and many reviewers had said it was one of the best they've ever had. Sadly, that was not the case for me. The size of the burger was fine, but it was just way too salty for my tastebuds. So salty that I could feel my ankles swelling after every bite. I've had Cow and Cheese before, but their OG Location was never convenient for me. This location in Winter Park is great for me as it's on my route to Costco, so I'll be back. This new location (Fall 2024) shares a spot with That Wing Spot. It's kind of dumb if you want a burger AND wings as there are 4 ordering kiosks, 2 for wings and 2 for burgers. You can't order from both places on one screen. I hope they work that out. The burgers are Smash style burgers with crispy edges. A single is only $5 and a double is only $1 more which is nuts! They also have "The Doc" which adds caramelized onions and is $9. I'll say The Doc may not be worth the premium, but they do sizzle up some great patties. You WILL smell like grease when you leave here, so keep that in mind if you're stopping here dressed to the nines before an elegant event (and if you are, then you're my kind of person). I'll be back and stop for a burger (or wings) for sure. Now just add Chicken Fire!!!! read more

We drove about 35 minutes in rush hour because we kept seeing Cow & Cheese and That Wing Spot popping up on TikTok... and honestly, it was worth every minute of the drive. When we walked in, the vibe alone made the trip worth it... great artwork everywhere, and 90s/2000s hip-hop blasting through the speakers. The guys behind the counter were super helpful, walked us through the menu, and helped us customize our burgers. While we waited (which wasn't long at all), we ended up having some great conversations with them about where they were all originally from. One of the biggest things that stood out was how helpful everyone was. It was honestly hard to tell who the actual owner was because every single person worked and served like they were part owners. They really carried themselves with excellence. Kwame has a very solid team there. We ordered the Doc Burger, and I'm not exaggerating... that might be the best burger I've had in the city of Orlando, hands down. I'm already planning on bringing my kids back in the next week or two so they can try it. This is definitely one of those spots you end up returning to. Great food, great people, great atmosphere.
