Look how perfectly golden this botato round is. You can hear the crunch in the pic!

I know I'm late but WHY are these Bo-Tato Rounds sooo good?!? It's like is an onion ring and hashbrowns had a baby except the hash browns had the stronger genes (90% hash & 10% onion ring) They were perfectly round, crispy and absolutely delicious! Nice and fresh and they are big enough to where you only get four in the bag but paired with the Cajun chicken biscuit or the Bo sausage sandwich ( also CRAZY good!) this is definitely one of my new favorite things!

Because yeah lol

Easy solid four or more. I don't do a whole lot of fast food these days but Bojangles for me is always a real treat and this location's been reasonably solid. I like them better than some of the other chicken guys and was sort of sore when they had to close up for a little while.

I was genuinely excited when I heard Bojangles in Sanford was reopening after nearly a year of being closed due to an electrical fire. I've always loved their breakfast biscuit sandwiches and sweet tea, so I made a point to stop by on their first day back. There were a few familiar faces working, which was nice to see, and while there were some trainees on staff (understandable on day one), the delay in the drive-thru was minimal and handled well. I ordered a chicken biscuit, bacon, egg & cheese biscuit, and a sweet tea--my usual go-to order. Sadly, that's where the excitement ended. The biscuits just weren't the same. They used to be soft, buttery, flaky, and had that homemade taste that set them apart. Now, they seem pre-made and bland, missing that fresh, comforting flavor. The chicken was also noticeably smaller and lacked the crispy, juicy texture it used to have. The bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit had barely any bacon, and the eggs were paper-thin. Even the sweet tea, which I used to rave about, tasted off--less sweet and not as bold in flavor. It really feels like there's been a decline in quality, which is heartbreaking for a place that used to be my go-to breakfast spot. Before the fire, Bojangles stood out from the many chicken restaurants on the same road. Now? It feels like just another fast-food option, and not one I'll be rushing back to. Individual Ratings: Food: Service: Atmosphere: N/A (Drive-thru) Value: Tip: If you were a fan of the biscuits and tea pre-fire, manage your expectations--things seem to have changed quite a bit. Overall Rating:

On the way to a high school graduation, I was able to stop by Bojangles. The double drive thru was open and the waiter was nice. I asked for a menu and he had no problem going to get one. I ordered a Sausage Egg and Cheese Biscuit, Bo Rounds, Peach Cobbler Biscuit and Lemonade. All of the food came out great. It definitely gave me flashbacks of my days at NC State in Raleigh, NC.

chicken that wasnt mine

the fries taste funny, milkshakes take eons to make, people at panda express across the street are attempting to push a car because they have a dead battery, NO napkins, NO covers, Dr. Pepper was sub average, worker spilt ice tea all over herself, and more people are attempting to push the car and have now succeeded. chicken is very good and goes well with honey mustard that the worker had trouble finding. 2 stars.

This place really surprised me in a good way. A lot of the chain fried chicken places have gone so downhill that I don't even bother going anymore. First off FYI: there are no chicken pieces here or at any location in Florida they let me know when I visited this location. Only strips, chicken sandwiches and breakfast sandwiches. So at first I was a little disappointed but I said hell I'm already here. I ordered the 3 strips meal, dirty rice and it comes with a drink and biscuit. The chicken was nice and crispy, great taste, a little spice. I was shocked, these strips taste like white meat chicken pieces. Then I took a bite of the dirty rice, very tasty with pieces of meat in it. The biscuit is soft, moist and buttery. I am excited at this point that everything is hittin. The tea was very sweet but it's sweet tea, that should be expected. The service was awesome, they explained everything to me as a newbie with a smile and I had a lot of questions. The food was fresh. I have no complaints. I will definitely be back soon, now that I know this is a solid chicken spot!

Bojangles I am pleased to announced that I haven't had Bojangles since 2016 I was happy to see this was in passing while I was on my way to deland. I went in for a quick bite to eat and it made me reminisce to when I had it during college days. The staff was very friendly and very tentative. They always are as I have been here a couple of times. MENU HACK: when go for breakfast order any of the sandwich's on a bo berry biscuit and if you feel extra risky order it with glaze you will not be disappointed!

Three Piece Chicken Tender Meal

I stopped by for lunch on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. I hadn't been to a Bojangles for some time since the chain left the Orlando area a few years back. This is their reentry into the market and I had to give the Charlotte, North Carolina based company a welcoming try. I was greeted warmly as soon as I entered and the cashier, Kimora, provided me insight as to their menu. I was itching to try their bone-in chicken however, I was advised this location only carries boneless chicken products...so chicken tenders it was. I ordered the three piece chicken tender meal which comes with a dipping sauce, side, and drink. For $8.99, this was a veritable bargain. The chicken tenders were crispy, juicy and with just the right amount of Cajun batter seasoning. The biscuit was fluffy with a nice, crisp exterior. The coleslaw is mayonnaise-based and had a light creaminess with a sweet taste. Yum all around! I'm looking forward to the opening of additional Bojangles locations in the Orlando metro.

I was in the area and decided to stop by after having a few drinks downtown. Came right before it was close and did a drive thru order. All I saw on their menu were kids meals and the chicken tender combos. I opt for the 3 piece tender and a side of Mac and cheese with a biscuit. I enjoyed their tenders, they were big crispy and tender. Their house made ranch went well with the chicken. I gave my Mac and cheese away, but it did look good. Drive thru staff were friendly and got my food in a timely manner.

When I looked at the address and closing time, they were closing at 8 and we would be arriving at 7:40 so I didn't want to make them make us a sandwich so late right before closing but the craving was so bad that we just decided to go. We got there at 7:40 and were greeted so lovingly by Ava (the owners sister). I began to apologize for being so late and making them do more work and that's when the owner (Jack) walked in and mentioned how it was not a problem and reassured me that if they had to serve me at 8pm then they would. They made the atmosphere so delightful and it allowed for the food to be that much better. Not only were the Philly's PHENOMENAL!!!!! But the service was absolutely incredible 10/10! We already can't wait to come back and bring our friends to try them out and meet them. Side note: IT IS SUUUUUUUPER CLEAN! It does not look like your typical sub spot where it's more run down and dinghy. They keep it cleaner than most of our homes to be honest lol I truly felt taken care of not just with the food but with the quality of service! 10/10 Philly Bros!

So ok, I kind of get the two sides of the situation here…read more The plus: the sandwich IS tasty. The bread - I opted for the pumpernickel - was in a word, sublime. I'd eat a sautéed shoe if it came on that bread. Pretty much all the stars are assigned to that and the year round availability of a Thanksgiving style sandwich. The not so pluses: if you like carbs, this will not be a negative but it's really carb heavy and relatively light on the turkey and the cranberry which was unfortunate. The ratio is a bit off, in my opinion. More turkey and a smidge more of the cranberry (because you need the acid to counter the carbs really) and we'd have a real winner. Why 5 stars then? It is a good sandwich. I may not get it again because I've checked the box but it was nice and the bread was SOOOO good I can mostly forgive the heavy carb loading.

Stopped by after a drive down from Casadega and we were starving. After taking a look at the other selections of places to dine while there, I went with the Woody ($17) with a Sprite ($3). The sandwich was delicious with a thick bread which was nicely toasted, filled with pastrami meat. The cold serving of Thousand Island dressing and Southern slaw mixed in with the thinly sliced red onion was a good combination in the sandwich. The selection of sandwiches offered was smaller than what used to be in the old location but that's to be expected, I guess. It's a different time, stuff is more expensive. The service was great and friendly.

Whew. Expensive. We give this place 5*'s for food and 1* for the prices. Our overall rating is 3*'s. The folks who work here are very pleasant. The dining room is well decorated. There's no mistaking what the cuisine will be. We ordered a pernil Papa Locas ($14) and both street ($13/5) and birria ($14/3) tacos. We wanted to get a churrasco Mofongo ($35) thinking we'd have plenty of leftovers, but we realized we were simply running out of money. We love Puerto Rican food. We often stop at Lelo's in Orange City when we're in Volusia county and get Mfongo's and the rotisserie chicken and the pork and their daily specials. Our expectation was high tonight because of all the buzz. We really wanted it to be good. And what we ate was good. The employees and the ambience were both great. We enjoyed everything. But why so expensive? We make a good living and we both appreciate fine things - we willingly pay extra for high quality when we feel it is justified. But what we paid tonight didn't bear any correlation to our dinner. These sky-high prices reminded us of Disney. Everything at WDW is inflated: whether the captive audience syndrome because Disney knows their customers have no alternatives; or they just price everything ridiculously high because it's Disney. Unfortunately for this restaurant, it's not Disney. And there are dozens and dozens of alternatives surrounding their building and within a short 10-15 min drive. We wish the owners well. They certainly know how to prepare tasty Puerto Rican food. However, we both agreed we won't be going back because we frankly just don't see the value. Way too expensive.
