This store is located on 17-92 next door to Denny's. I stop by every now-n-then but I wouldn't say I am regular here. A few years back, this store was renovated and it was the hot spot for a minute but now not so much. We had some family in town and were picking up a few to-go items for a quick dinner. The first thing we noticed upon arrival was that Both the McDonalds and Denny's lighted store signs were off. Not a big deal for us but if I was the business owner, I would be all over that. Once inside I waited at least 5 minutes to place an order. Not bad but there was no one in front of me and maybe two or three cars in the drive thru. The main register clerk was in the back and the other workers seemed to be standing around and did not acknowledge my presence. The odd thing about the whole experience was one of the male workers was walking around between the register area and where the guests would wait in line (where I was standing) with his arm in a makeshift sling. He was using a cotton web style Dickies belt to keep his arm in a sling-like-position but was wandering around doing nothing. How hard would it be to say "someone will be right with you"? I ordered two 6-piece McNugget's and two McDouble's from the 2 for $3 menu. The order total was $6.42, which is not a bad deal at all. However, the register clerk neglected to add the BBQ sauce to my order, so then I waited again for someone to acknowledge my presence. It's a shame, the manager was the one who dropped off my order but couldn't take the time to verify I was happy before, blurting out my order number then quickly walking away. Finally, the young gal working the fryer stopped what she was doing to assist. All in all, I was at McDonalds and I can't expect the best of the best, but I can expect more cohesive interaction from leaders and team members working at this store. If I return, I hope to see some changes for the better in the future. read more

One of the lousiest experiences I have ever bear witness to. While my expectations are not that high considering it is Mcdonald's, but this location takes the cake in the worst customer service and the worst service. No food should take a literal hour to serve, especially a drink!!! While I will give credit to the lovely man in the drive thru taking orders trying his best, but afterwards was with a service team that DID NOT CARE whatsoever, with people visibly on their phones and doing nothing on the floor while they were immensely backed up and an employee walking up with food that was not ours and then saying she had to fully reset the machine and then afterwards will get to it, with no explanation as to why, and then promptly shut the window, while I understand being backed up and needing to be quick, still at least grace us with "pull up front" to not be in the way for the person behind us. Almost another half hour later to get warm "iced" coffee which is baffling, was it just left sitting on the counter long enough for any ice inside to melt? While I do feel bad being so scathing and upset but I feel that even with as low standards as a fast food chain, there should at the very least be decent service and just a slight attempt at getting food out on time. I have been to this location before and it's a plaguing issue with food never coming out on time and a lack of customer service but this took the cake with just how uncaring the whole thing was taken and the lack of respect or consideration is emblematic of how this location is maintained and managed with lackluster customer service for the several years this place has existed for. Please just go further down the road and order from the one by Downtown, the food is more fresh and with superior service times. Do not waste your money and time here. read more

Went through the drive thru thinking it would be quick. Sat in the drive thru for at 30 minutes because they only gave me part of my food. Waiting for the last meal, my fries were soggy and limp when I got home. When I was waiting I witnessed a McDonald's worker give food to one car, take it back and give it to another car. The workers here might need to take safe food handling classes. That food should have went in the garbage. McDonald's is the worst. Over priced food just slapped together. read more

I walked in there due to them forgetting my large fry and sweet & sour sauce for my meal the young girl walked away and started to talk smack so I left a remark saying "maybe don't talk smack to your co workers about a customer and do your job" then I ate food and my hole family got food poisoning I will not be coming back, they had an attitude the whole time I ordered and was rude to all the customers, and the manager did nothing and just stood there. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. My McCrispy was soo burnt all the meat was inedible not to mention they put zero mayo on it. Why would you even give someone something like that? My "large" fry was half full and cold. Like the only thing that was good was the sprite because there is no way they could mess that up. There was pore customer service and they forgot are hash browns. The person on the intercom was very short and just matter of fact. When we got to the window to pick up our food, we were immediately told to pull up and wait, but then someone inside said no I have the sausage burritos, but when they gave us the bag, it only had the burritos and not the hashbrowns that I ordered so then I had to pull around park and go inside for the hashbrowns wearing my pajamas. read more

Try and avoid this location if you can. They have always had the worst service ever, I don't expect much from a McDonald's, but I do expect the "manager" to have a brain. My boyfriend and I went to this location a couple days ago to see what the new renovation looked like. Nothing impressive, more like a sterile hospital than a fast food restaurant. We place our order and 15 minutes go by and we finally get our food. Keep in mind the drive thru is empty and barely any people inside the restaurant. I noticed this gentleman bringing our food had his long stiletto Christmas acrylics touching my fries, idk about you but I find that gross because of all the nastiness that can get stuck under those nails. Another thing, My boyfriend ordered two double cheeseburgers and only one was on our tray, so he got up and said excuse me multiple times at the front counter to get someone's attention and finally the same guy who brought out our food came up. My boyfriend explained the situation with the burgers and he had the receipt to show proof that he purchased two of them. The gentleman who claimed he was the manager over the phone just moments before loudly stated, "No you just ordered one" and my boyfriend put the receipt in front of him, pointing at the "2 double cheeseburger" spot, just to show that this guy was wrong. If there was an option for no stars I'd put that, we arrived at McDonalds at 9:50 almost 10 PM on Saturday 06/07/25 we ordered at the Kiosk at 10:10 PM and opted for cash and card at the front register. We waited a good 15-20 minutes maybe more for someone to help us, which no one did, they kept looking at us and not coming over to ask if we needed anything. Then a large group of young kids came and the staff spoke to them and answered to their requests but left us there at the front for a good while. At 10:20-ish a staff member named Boot $ as spelt on his name tag SAW us and kept walking to the bathroom twice while on his cellular device as well as helping the young kids when they came way after us and half the staff members just kept ignoring us and walking around as if they have nothing to do. It sucks when you're waiting patiently for help and they just look at you like idiots which is rude and I've worked in this kind of industry and it would be a shame if the store manager let all this slide. We put in our order waited a long time didn't get to pay and decided to leave it was a waste of the McDonalds order deal. I'm highly disappointed. read more

This McDonalds needs an intervention. Every single car that ordered in the drive thru was sent to wait in the drive thru lanes bc our orders weren't ready. 20 mins later when I got the number two I was less than pleased because my fries were cold and the quarter pounder was so greasy that when i bit into it, grease dripped out and ruined my shirt. Every time we go here, it takes a minimum of 20 minutes between when we order to when they bring our food to us in a parking spot. This is supposed to be FAST food! Been in the drive thru for nearly 10 mins, and all I ordered was a Big Mac with fries. As nice as this place looks, and the fact that the lobby AND drive thru are 24 hours, it's still trash. When I drove up, I sat for abiut 5 mins before saying "hello?" No response. I repeated myself and then someone responded. My order was quickly taken and then I drove up to the first window, paid, then drive to the second window. And I waited. And waited. I used to come here all the time as a UberEats and DoorDash driver. Not so much on my own. Only when I'm coming back from a late night of working and there's literally nothing else open. What's really strange about this location is that it smells like urine for some reason! I don't know where this is coming from. I've used the restroom plenty of times and it's usually clean[ish]. Maybe it's just some kind of vinegar smell, I dunno, but it's pretty gross. What's also weird is that the dining room is rather small considering the location. Staff here is usually way behind. Even when it's fully manned, wait times for food take quite a while. Don't even think about going through the drive thru unless you've got about 20 minutes to spare. I will say that everyone is at least friendly. If they got rid of that piss smell and sped up their service this would be a solid McDonalds At least it's not as bad as the one in north Sanford on 17/92 near downtown. read more

Food is always cold, I cannnot remember the last time I went here and there wasn't some part of the order missing, wait times are incredibly long, and staff could care less of you have a complaint or are missing something. I ordered a Mango smoothie at drive thru and after I paid was told to go to spot 2 where they would bring it out to me. 10 minutes later a young girl comes to my car to tell me they dont have my item what do I want instead? Typical McDonald's with double drive thru and not bad service, came here for a quick bite thru the drive thru and the service was quick and good and got all of my food I ordered. Best thing about McDonald's is the food is cheap but not the healthiest still for a quick bite when you are hungry this is the place to stop by.
