Food was good and hot. Parking is crammed, it's a shared space with Tuffy Tire so parking is limited. Young girl at the register was nice, tall cook with gotee and baseball cap, NOT so friendly. He didn't say my name correctly which is ok. However, when I went to retrieve my food, eyes locked in, big smile on my face (I was hungry, lol) , and said thank you - death look. No expression, no - your welcome, enjoy, etc. I was hesitant to even say this but this is what this platform is for.. borderline racist as he was nice to other people of lighter skin ); . Just made me feel not welcomed at all. I even said thank you twice. Sometimes kitchens can be a little loud and I can understand if he didn't hear me the first time,, but I know he saw my lips move as we were looking right at each other... Anyway. Overall food was good, a little pricey for a sandwich, fries and a can soda though. For nearly $22 you can eat at sit down restaurant, have quality food and be served with sit down experience. Overall I'd come back as I know what to expect from this location. I've visited another location on LEE RD for to-go but I was in and out... I had the Daily Cheesesteak special. $16.95. I added a cheese sauce $1.30. All together 21.36 total.
My sister and I were starving from a long morning of grocery shopping. She said she wanted a cheesesteak. We checked the map and LaSpada's popped up. I had no idea they had more than 1 location (Lee rd in Orlando) We popped in and were greeted by the cashier. We ordered a large mushroom with curly fries and chips lol we split it because it was huge. Very tasty cravings satisfied!!! There were a few families and single people eating inside. They looked like "regulars" to me. LaSpada's is a hit !
It's obvious that people mistake quantity for quality when they are writing reviews for this restaurant. Is the sandwich loaded with a large quantity of meat?? Absolutely Yes!!! Is the quality of the meat product of totally sub-par?? Again.... Absolutely Yes!! So much meat that it's falling out of the bun, yet it tastes like that low budget freezer burnt steakumms product that they sell at Walmart and Winn Dixie. Definitely not fit to eat and when I offered it to my dog, I couldn't even get him to taste it. He sniffed it and just turned his head away. Absolutely wouldn't touch it! This is, by far, the worst Cheesesteak that I've ever experienced. The flavor closely resembles the taste and texture of the tires that they sell next door at the Tuffy's Tire & Lube Center. They even overcooked the fries, I couldn't throw it away fast enough. Save your money and your digestive system... Eat Elsewhere
Can't believe I've never reviewed LaSpada's! We've been coming here for years and honestly I have never had a bad sandwich! My go to is the cheesesteak or the original (Italian) and both are solid good options loaded with meat! The service is always quick and polite. There are a few tables inside to eat but nothing fancy. The ice tea is also always fresh and delightful!
My husband is originally from the Philly area and this is his favorite place in town. We drive from Winter Park to Sanford about once a month just so that he can get a cheesesteak from this greasy hole-in-the-wall. We recently brought a friend here and he got the pastrami and loved it too. The curly fries are super tasty too, and I always forget that they have them. The desserts look good, but I haven't tried them yet. It's not the fanciest place, but the food is good and it's clean enough that I will eat there with him. They also have Herr's chips and some fancy sodas that I appreciate too.
The food was great. The customer service was all right. There was a dining area where you could sit. They have a variety of chips that you can choose from. They also have a drink machine or a soda cooler if you would like a children drink not a fountain drink.

My coworkers and I visit La spada's at least once a month for lunch. I've tried most of their cheesesteaks, several of their hoagies, and salads. My favorite of all of them is the Laspada's Famous hoagie. The 12" is $15.95, which to me is a bit expensive; however, it's loaded with freshly sliced meat, cheese, and other ingredients to the point that you can't close the sandwich up to eat it. You almost have to eat it open-faced. Most of the time I'll only eat half and then save the other half for dinner. This location is very small, if you're coming for lunch you definitely have to be there right when they open at 11:00 a.m. because this place gets packed. The few tables they do have fill up quick. Sometimes we dine in, but when it's busy, it's hard to enjoy your meal with all the noise and everyone else standing around looking at you while they are waiting for their order. What works best for us is ordering our meals 15-30 minutes before they open, pick our order up, then go back to our shop to eat versus dining in. If you do order at the counter then dine-in know that your order could take 15-20 minutes to prepare. I took Nancy and my mom to Laspada's last week, it was their first time here. I ordered a laspada's famous and mom and Nancy both ordered the 10" mushroom cheese steak ($11.99), which all came out excellent The only thing Nancy wasn't too fond about was the bread, she says the bread was a bit chewy and didn't expect that. I don't know if it's a Philly thing, but the staff aren't super friendly, good luck getting someone to crack a smile. Yet they do get you what you need and overall do a great job making some delicious food. The store is not super clean, but it's not a fine dining restaurant either. All-n-all, I highly recommend stopping in to give them a try. If you don't, you are definitely missing out.
This afternoon was my first time at this establishment. I wanted to get some lunch. The meal I ordered was a Steak Cheesesteak with lettuce, tomato, banana peppers, and onions. It was delicious. It was very flavorful and packed with meat and cheese. The service was very swift and everyone that worked there was very friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was very chill and relaxed. They have televisions on with sports. Overall it was a wonderful experience with spectacular food and I will be returning. That's all.

My husband is originally from the Philly area and this is his favorite place in town. We drive from Winter Park to Sanford about once a month just so that he can get a cheesesteak from this greasy hole-in-the-wall. We recently brought a friend here and he got the pastrami and loved it too. The curly fries are super tasty too, and I always forget that they have them. The desserts look good, but I haven't tried them yet. It's not the fanciest place, but the food is good and it's clean enough that I will eat there with him. Ordered a 10 inch turkey and cheese sub and cheese fries, to-go through their website. The website was user friendly. An app is also available to place orders if you prefer. I was surprised to see a LaSpada's in Sanford. I've always enjoyed their subs during trips to Fort Lauderdale so it's a nice addition to the area. The subs tastes so fresh and I love the hot peppers. Their bread is always soft and fresh baked. The sun was overloaded with Turkey and can definitely be shared. Ordering a mini is probably the way to go if you're not sharing. I am looking forward to trying their chicken Philly during my next visit. The cheese fries were nothing special. I wouldn't order again. Located next to a tuffy. Restaurant was clean. Staff was super friendly and the subs were ready when we arrived. read more

Best subs all around! I'm obsessed with their Italian deluxe with both sweet and hot peppers. It's absolutely heavenly. Other than the sides, like onion rings or fries, I haven't tried anything else. The sub is just too amazing. They are huge so be prepared to get at least 2 meals out of it. 100% recommend over an over again. They're always consistent. read more
Ordered from Door Dash to deliver to the Amtrak Auto Train station as we waited to board. Delivery was good, hence one star. Most of the order was wrong. No potato salad, wrong sandwich, extra Cheesesteak... :( The macaroni salad was drowning in mayo. The grease from the two cheesesteak sandwiches leaked through the bag, and were only wrapped in paper, which was also soaked. The cheesesteak sandwich was tasty - hence star 2 - but the meat was overcooked. See pic. Crumbled up into tiny pieces. One and done. We tried! read more
In the area buying some home renovation items close by and after 5 hrs of flooring I was starving. We saw this restaurant close by and why not give it a shot. We ordered our food and waited for it. The gentleman behind the counter were very nice and funny. The sixes of the subs were huge and they tasted pretty good. I don't have a LaSpada's near my home so all the more reason to pass by. Diarrhea, Vomit sandwich and burger look Nasty. We ate that food after 1 hour hurt me and my wife stomach right away. My stomach not feeling good something wrong with the sandwich I ate, Becarefull this LaSpada sandwich in Sanford. read more

Highly recommend!!!Could be the BEST steak and cheese. Meat is sliced fresh and sautéed perfectly with a perfect mixture of onions and mushrooms (not a pepper fan) perfect amount of cheese. I got the 12" and it was literally perfect. Great taste, cooked to perfection. There is Philadelphia memorabilia so I am assuming that's where they are from. Perfect sandwich especially when you are wanting a real steak and cheese!!! They have tables and a nice tv for watching some sports as well!! read more

I was in the mood for a great steak hoagie and boy did this place deliver. Actually, we dined in, but I digress. I was feeling manly so I ordered the 12" with lettuce and tomatoes (I'm one of those) as a meal with Tots (instead of fries) and a Drink. That hoagie was pretty dang delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful in ordering for the first time from their giant menu. They have lots more than just cheese steaks and if I'm ever in the mood for another cheat day, then I'll go here. It will be hard to try something else though. read more
Listen I love Laspada's, I mean look at my five star review which I'm not changing, but why are some people being told to wear a mask and others not...I have no problem and believe we should due to the family member having cancer, but the rule needs to be equal across the board. I've been to this location once a while back. I went to the one on Lee Road, which mind you is much closer to my house, but it in NO WAY compares to this location. The quality of the food is undeniably so much better. I was in the mood for a philly and came here last week. I've since been there three more times in a week and a half period and I'm already planning my next trip. The prices have gone up, but they're working on updating the menu, so it is not reflected yet and I did notice a few people walk out. Yes, it can be expensive (12" green pepper cheesesteak and curly fries ran me around $20) but I'd rather pay a little bit more for high quality food I'm going to enjoy then something lack luster for a little cheaper. Also, the 12" is the largest and huge! Enough to share or make a couple meals out of. You also get a TON of curly fries! They have great lunch specials and you can upgrade to their amazing curly fries for an up charge. They are usually extremely busy and last time I went the male taking orders was extremely flustered. He was still kind, just a little short. I don't blame him, I believe I heard something about the Orange City locations phones being down. Nonetheless if you haven't been here you're truly missing out on amazing food. Be patient it's worth it and please wear a mask. I completely missed the HUGE sign on the door asking everyone to wear a mask due to a family member having cancer. Thankfully, I found a mask in my car and was very apologetic. read more

Did you use to have a sub shop in Coral Springs fl?
Yes. Located on Sample Road (West of University Drive). It's still there and operational, but I'm not sure if the LaSpada Family are the current owners or if they franchised it.
