The noodles were perfectly made with a good layer of al dente without being dried or under cooked, the shrimp had two pieces which were a bit overdone and had obviously stuck to the pan so they had an overly cooked side but the zucchini chicken was perfect. The zucchini was not watery nor overdone, keeping a nice robust chew to each piece. The service through the drive thru was friendly and quick so I was on my way to eating my meal. read more

The orange chicken and rice or noodles is a classic order but this time I tried something new to me: Super Greens, Kung Pao Chicken, and Black Pepper Sirloin Steak. I was looking for a way to save on some calories and the greens looked like a great way to go. It's broccoli, cabbage, and kale. I have been to Panda Express before and was pleased that they did a sweet and sour chicken with a rice flour coating and fried it in separate oil. Not a meal I can get too often with my gluten allergy. This time, not as fortunate. I asked about options and was told by management that they had nothing to accommodate my allergy. I looked online and found that the only thing listed on their menu now was white rice. I asked if they would use a clean pan and cook some vegetables with the rice. They did but with no seasoning. I added the duck sauce which had no gluten in it but not very appetizing. It was nice of them to try after I asked but not much of a meal. I won't be back until they have more options. The one in Altamonte Springs has the sweet and sour chicken but this manager said they were phasing that out in all stores. This place has gone down hill. Used to go in and get hot food, decent portions, great staff. Lately every meal is iffy on temps or how much you get portion size. Today was the kicker though as I hit the drive thru and brought food home for my kids. A black spot caught my eye through the lid of one of their drinks. Opened it up to find mold floating around in the soda and some frozen in ice. The drive thru is a big plus for this Panda Express location in Casselberry. I visited on a random weekday evening and the inside of the restaurant was packed. We made it through the line in decent time for the amount of people in it. The flavors of our dishes were excellent. However, I would like to see more beef in the beef with broccoli. They have high chairs but no changing tables in the restrooms. I will come again just for the drive thru. Tip: do the survey on the back of the receipt for a free item with a combo meal. read more

Is not hard to read these reviews and see why there is so many negative reviews on here about this particular business. Let me start off by saying that I spent $40 on a meal for two adults and two kids. The food: I order the platter with two plates with two sides (rice and noodles ) and one had the original orange chicken with the kung Pao chicken and the other plate had orange chicken with shrimp. The plate with orange chicken and kung Pao chicken was ok , the only thing that was good was the chicken but the rice was kind of hard and probably had been sitting there for a long time and the noodles where dry and did not have much flavor to them. The orange chicken was delicious and tasted really good and the Kung Pao was good and spicy. Service: The service here was bad , not only they were rude but not sympathetic for not having my food ready ok time. Not only I waited longer then stated on the site I had to go inside to watch them pour my food from a bowl where it's already made in to a to -go container. Overall this business will not get my money again , I only come here once in a while as I don't eat out often and was wanting some Chinese And feeling like giving this business my time and money but it was not worth it. Exterior building is nice and is very well maintained. Staff moves the drive-thru along very quickly and efficiently, and they don't make you wait for your food! They also put "out of stock" labels on the drive-thru menu so customers know upon arrival what they have and don't have. 6/24: I ordered a firecracker shrimp bowl. I had to pay an extra $1.25 and wait an extra 7 minutes. The bowl had 4 small shrimp and barely any vegetables. 6/26: I took a photo of the issue and brought the receipt and photo to the store manager. I said the honey walnut shrimp (same cost and same upcharge of $1.25) comes with 7 shrimp. He said that the firecracker shrimp bowl comes with 5 shrimp, and the honey walnut shrimp bowl comes with 7 shrimp. We said we were shorted 1 shrimp so he would offer a 20% discount. I asked why there were so few vegetables, if you count less than 10 veggies, and he had no answer. I explained I was coming to resolve the issue in person before posting a bad review. I explained we had a business around the corner and order multiple times a week. The manager said the best he could do was 20%. I ordered a different entree because the cost of a bowl with a $1.25 upcharge is way too much for 5 shrimp and 10 pieces of vegetables. This location has become dependably Undependable and very customer unfriendly. Case in point: they advertise being open until 9:30. After getting off work last night at 8pm, we drove straight there, less than 15 minutes away and got in line at the drive thru. After a 15 minute wait, we pulled up to the speaker. It is now 8:30- 1 hour prior to their posted closing time - and we are told "the kitchen just closed. We have limited options and you can pick from those" No noodles, no rice, no orange chicken and none of the three other entrees we would have chosen. This was an issue about a year ago and after complaining to corporate, we saw a change. But now they're right back at it and this has happened a few times over the past month- so we are officially done with this location. Inside, as we drove past the window, we could see employees inside goofing off and having a grand old time. In contrast, the Altamonte Springs location is very customer friendly and has a good variety available at all times - and they'll make what you want if it isn't ready. No drive through, but they do a good job - from now on, even though it's out of the way, that's the location we will visit. read more
