That said, I have some basic expectations - fast, pleasant service, well prepared dishes, and fresh ingredients without being skimpy. I was generous and rated this place a 3/5 because some of the food was solid. But the service was very, VERY bad. Some of the worst I've seen. Specifically the woman taking orders was extremely rude (I try to give people the benefit of the doubt because we all have our bad days, but she was borderline hostile). Some positives: the location is very convenient. The hot and sour soup was tasty (nice & spicy) with good veggies but kinda skimpy on the protein vs most places. The pork fried rice was solid, although also skimpy on the pork. The chicken wings were cooked nicely but they were not really flavorful so be prepared to add some kind of sauce or seasoning to your taste. Overall, this is an okay option if time and convenience are your priority and you need a solid meal fast - and don't mind (possibly) dealing with some surly staff if the woman we dealt with takes your order. But if you have other options available, I would choose them.

Nice big portions of chicken, deliciously cooked with veggies sprinkled inside. The egg rolls were fresh and crispy. Not greasy at all. My oooonly complaint is that even though very yummy, the rice portions were real small. You need at least double that per dinner portion and for the $40 price point. Other than that, will definitely be back!

The owner was very friendly, down to earth, and happy to chat. This is a quick Chinese takeout spot, so expectations were simple, but the food turned out to be pleasantly impressive. The roast duck had plenty of flavor and ended up being one of the better dishes tried in Lake Mary, Florida, especially compared with other duck dishes that can taste just salty without much dept. What a hidden gem!

Just enough time to go to the PF Chang's and get some takeout. The food was accurate, which is good. And the food was good, too. Definitely not as good as it used to be, but it was exactly what the body and soul needed when wanting Chinese takeout. Cons: The food was late getting made, which was hard to believe, because the inside of that restaurant was empty. And the food is good, but definitely overpriced. With small business Chinese places nearby that are just as good or better at half the price, just go there, unless you're trapped at a movie theater. Tips: The fried rice was ok.

Since I've grown up, allegedly, the world has globalized a little more, and now PF Chang's is honestly a little situational. No one chooses PF Chang's out of the blue. My situation was that I was stuck in Winter Park Village at a film festival, and I wanted some food for my next movie. So I ordered some takeout, came and picked it up. When I walked inside, the dining room was really grandiose and pretty. The ambiance is actually very nice. I give it kudos there. The service, I didn't really get to experience, but I will say that my food wasn't ready on time, and with how empty that beautiful dining room was, I'm not sure why it wasn't. I had to race back to the theater to get back in time. And the food, it was pretty ok. I had the Crab Wontons (Crispy wontons stuffed with creamy crab, bell peppers, and green onions, served with a zesty, sweet-and-spicy plum dipping sauce). Standard. Exactly what you're expecting. I also had the Wonton Soup (A savory, flavorful broth loaded with tender pork wontons, succulent shrimp, juicy chicken, and fresh mushrooms for a comforting bowl). Nice, tender wontons inside, and the mushrooms added a nice umami to the broth, but it was ultimately an incomplete broth, like Progresso. I also got some Fried Rice (A classic Chinese food staple, wok-tossed with egg, carrots, bean sprouts, and green onions. Choice of protein: Vegetable, Chicken, Beef, Shrimp, or Combo). I think I got the shrimp. This one was also ok. You could get the same thing from a cheap takeout joint, so again, situational. We finished the order off with a chicken or a beef or something entree. I can't remember exactly what it was, but it was 3/5 star ok, too. If you've sensed a theme here, I am sorry if it sounded mean. Nothing we ate was bad. Everything we ate just has a much better version at joints nearby at literally half the price.

We asked if they could still take our order, and we assumed that while the kitchen might be closing soon, we could still dine in since the restaurant was still open. Instead, they prepared our food in to-go containers and then asked us to leave. The biggest issue was the lack of communication. If dine-in service had already ended, they should have clearly told us that before taking our order. We would have then had the choice to either take the food to go or simply not order. Being handed food in to-go containers after assuming we could sit and eat, and then being asked to leave, was an extremely unpleasant customer experience. We came with a mind set to eat and dine in and not in our cars! We completely understand that employees need to close on time, but customers should be treated with basic courtesy and given clear information upfront. Very disappointed with how this was handled.
