The image shows a plate with grilled chicken, French fries, and a small container of green sauce. In the background, there is a bowl of salad containing lettuce, tomatoes, and shredded carrots. The setting appears to be a restaurant with a colorful striped tablecloth. The focus is on the food, highlighting the grilled chicken and fries as the main items.

Pretty good food for a good price. It just wasn't the kind of good where I'd wanna go back but glad I tried it.

Tallarin Saltado - A black ceramic plate holds a serving of white rice and a stir-fry dish with beef, sliced onions, tomatoes, and green onions. The dish appears to be seasoned and cooked with a sauce, served on a multicolored woven tablecloth. The background includes a glimpse of a smartphone and other tableware.

Went with a couple of friends and we all tried a variety of dishes on the menu. Every single one was so flavorful and delicious. I particularly loved the tallarín saltado. The food is reasonably priced for a good portion as well.

a wall of menus on a wall - A black wall features fifteen menu boards arranged in a grid pattern, each displaying images and descriptions of different dishes. The menu boards include various food items, with some showing prices. A small thermostat or control panel is mounted on the left side of the wall, and a power outlet with a cord is visible near the bottom. A magazine or brochure is placed on a surface to the right.

Ever since trying Peruvian food in Atlanta, I've wanted it again. Once I learning we have Peruvian here nearby, we decided to go. I ordered the same named dish (lomo saltado) as in Atlanta so it was hard not to compare the two. Overall the staff here was friendly and welcoming. And the ambiance simple and relaxed. This steak dish was good but it wasn't close to as flavorful or sauce filled as what I experienced at the other place. Would I come back, yes. Would I say it was a good replacement, no. That said, it's not easy to find Peruvian food here so I'd you're looking for something unique and different it's a good option to try.

Carne a la Plancha - A plate contains grilled meat topped with a fried egg, served alongside white rice, fried plantains, and a small cup of green sauce. French fries are also present on the plate. The meal is set on a striped tablecloth with additional bowls of salad and sauce nearby, indicating a diverse and hearty dish, likely of Latin American or Peruvian cuisine.

Amazing! The Pollo a la Brasa and Carne a la Plancha were delicious! Will definitely be back to try other dishes.

Amazing flavor. Friendly staff. Clean restaurant. The service was so quick we barely sat down for long before the food was served. My kind of place. Everything was so flavorful. When you dine in, you go up front and the pictures and descriptions are on the wall. I will be back.

Eaten here several times. Drove from a far length to get food just to be told 30 minutes from closing they wouldn't allow us to sit inside and eat. They should advertise if they have a last seating time. Totally unprofessional won't be returning here if that is the customer service.

Lady friend and myself also yes I am on noom weight loss

VErDy vErDy nice. Waitress was nice. Only thing they could improve is when Jimmy S asks for more wine Jimmy S gets more wine. It went well though. I even took my lady friend there. I also loved the part of my meal when Tammy from my 600 lb sister came and sat with me. The thing I didn't love so much is when I sat on one of those chairs and it snapped right through the center

Yellow drink - Jugo de Maracuya Culantro Bowl with spicy sauce on the side Patacones Picantes Sandwich de Chicharron

I can't recommend this place enough. Everything on the menu is amazing. Great service. I recommend the culantro bowl ( also comes spicy), lomo saltado, and patacones picantes. Comfy booths to talk with friends at and try new food! If you want to try a new drink Chicha morado is a Peruvian drink that I would describe like a Peruvian chia juice. Its amazing! Also jugo de Maracuya is passion fruit and it is unreal!

I have gotten this twice this week and was very happy. First time I got the empanadas, which were so sweet and savory. Arroz Chaufa.. so good. Everything tasted fresh like it's made with healthy ingredients. Which is so refreshing. This second time I got the arroz again with steak.. think pot roast steak but in fried rice. So good in my opinion. Lastly my friend got the Pan Con Pollo. I took 3 bites and my taste buds were happy. Not something I could get every time since I'm dairy free and gluten free. Worth it to try it though! We will be trying more soon

Nope! Not worth the $$. $15 for a bowl of rice, scattering of mixed veg and three chucks of chicken. Come on...

I want to send a shout to management also. I managed to lose my wallet the night we visited. We had hopped around to multiple locations but I was semi-convinced I left it there. The manager called me well before they opened in response to my calls and emails. They went so far as to review their security cameras for me and were willing to let me view them in person. I ended up finding it later in a different location but I really appreciate the help they gave me and their patience with my likely annoying behavior.

It's lively without feeling chaotic, and the atmosphere alone makes it worth a visit. DJ was a nice touch but music was a bit too loud. The drinks were good, and the wine served in a little ceramic duck container was a fun, memorable touch. Most of the food was tasty. The burger was delicious and easily the standout. The shrimp with coconut rice was flavorful but a bit too spicy for my taste. I wasn't a big fan of the super butter-fried fish--it was just a little too rich for me. The octopus appetizer was small, and overall portions are medium: enough for me, but definitely not enough for my hubby. Dessert was a highlight. If you like sweet, go for the dulcet ice cream; if you prefer something more tart, the mango sorbet is excellent. Not cheap--but honestly, nothing is anymore. Overall, a trendy spot with solid food and a fun vibe.

La Bodega is a small Dominican store with groceries and prepared food. There are 3 small aisles of…read moregroceries - one with mostly drinks and refrigerated proteins, one with sauces and dry goods, and the last with some cleaning supplies. Towards the rear, there are racks of spices, a very small frozen food section (one freezer) and some produce. I'm guessing they don't actually sell any of the produce - it's probably just there as storage until they cook everything? The real magic of the store is in the back, where there's a small counter serving all sorts of delicious goodies. On a Saturday for lunch, there was a steady stream of customers picking up orders and eating. Just be aware that this is a family owned establishment that takes time to prepare food - lunch was supposed to start at 11:30AM, but they didn't have most of the menu ready until around 12:30PM. For people who are less patient, there is a prepared food counter with various meats and stews and a display with some fried foods. We opted for a couple of items: Fritura Mixta ($18.50) - Wow, this is a giant plate of fried meat and tostones. Deep fried beef, pork, chicken, longanisa, each one seasoned and drained well. Not greasy or oily at all. This is seriously a meat overload, in retrospect, we should have ordered a couple of additional sides because, to be honest, we aren't huge meat eaters. Still delicious. It took about 20 minutes to come out because everything was fried fresh. Cheese Bollitos ($2.50) - Think of a fried mashed potato croquette with a slightly different yucca flavor profile. These fried pastries aren't fried to order - instead they are probably fried in the morning and stuck in a heated display cabinet until they are ordered. They don't have the best crisp exterior and aren't exactly piping hot, but they are still good. Chicken and Cheese Empanada ($3) - These were definitely differently shaped vs. other empanadas I've had. Quite a long half moon filled with well seasoned chicken and rich cheese. Similar to the bollitos, these are not fried to order. We went back a couple of weeks later for some of the items on the dinner menu (only available after 5PM) that aren't served during lunch. It took around 25 minutes this time for the food to come out. Chimi de Pierna ($13) - This sandwich consisted of pulled pork, red cabbage, onions, and tomato on a super pillowy bun. The ingredients were heavily seasoned with a sweet and somewhat vinegery sauce that was quite similar to a bbq sauce. Be careful eating this one - since the bun is so soft, the ingredients start spilling out with every bite. Mofongo ($20) - Super garlicky, pretty classic mofongo mashed with chicharrones. Our meat of choice was additional chicharrones - super well fried with a great crisp and chewy fat. It came with two small containers of sauce that was not a normal mojo de ajo. It was limey, porky, very fresh, and paired perfectly with the carbs and proteins. I would definitely get this again. As a side note - they charge a 4% credit card fee. La Bodego is a great addition to the area. Definitely stop by to get some good Dominican food!
