Laritza, the young lady who helped me book my storage space was extremely accommodating ,knowledgeable and friendly. I like the fact that you can pull inside and it's heated, which will come in handy when it's cold and raining everything is clean they were even mopping while I was there and the building smells great. I feel safe as they have lots of cameras and monitors highly recommend it if you are looking for storage don't waste your time going anywhere else.

First, the center is always clean. I had a problem in my previous center with vermin. Not the case here! The equipment (hand trucks, ladders etc.,) is in good condition and readily accessible. But even more importantly, the staff are kind and knowledgeable. In particular, Kendra has been helpful and a consistent presence when I stop in to my unit. When I have needed assistance with anything from my bill payment to referrals for local haulers, she has been a gem! I highly recommend this particular center!

When rent hikes in even my beloved Hudson Heights enclave of Washington Heights became too high, sending me to find a new space to rent in Inwood, I was a little panicked. Far gone are the days I could borrow my dad's trusy 1993 Buick Century station wagon; the ol' girl can't stray too far from home nowadays, so a two hour ride down to the city was not happening. A friend suggested I rent a truck from this U-Haul specific to get my move done. That was a choice wisely made. Located just off of Broadway on 230th, you can't miss this sprawling location, a self-storage building towering on top of a large parking lot. Admittedly, getting to the rental place itself was a little confusing. Intuition guided me to the brick building in the parking lot below, attached to the larger self-storage building, to get my reservation squared away. After all, all of the rental trucks were parking down along side it. Instead, all renters must go to the separate building directly on 230th, the one that boasts that boxes and shipping supplies can be bought there. Oh well! Up I walked. Props in specific to Susan, the staff member I got, who was lovely and got me squared away in an extremely efficient manner. (Even if her computer was going slow, much to her chagrin, she was a pro. Haha! I empathized with her.) Like any car rental place, she went through what I would and could be billed for, such as excessive mileage, paying a $5.50 per gallon for the gas tank not being brought back to the previous level, et al. I was given an estimate of about $64 dollars for the rental, insurance coverage, and estimated miles. It was all standard. I rented a 9' cargo van to move my bedroom to my new rental, and it went off without a hitch. Upon returning, another great employee, Dave, squared me a away and rung me up. My final bill was closer to $45 after my estimated miles were under what I guessed. (Not a bad thing at all!) Props to them sending you a copy of your contract via e-mail after the reservation is closed out, too. It gave me a chance to give everything a look over once again, and it's just good to have for my records. (But of course!) If you need a U-Haul truck, I would absolutely recommend coming up to this location. I am an extremely happy customer and, if need be, would come back again.

Not good charging 10'x20' pricing for a simple basement 10'x10'. Unjustified hardship for this customer.

My first clue was when I tried to pay my bill, and I got a surprising error message when I tried to log in: "Customer Center is not available for this store." Eventually, the change was confirmed both by a customer service agent at CubeSmart (by chat) and by a customer service agent at Manhattan Mini Storage (part of StorageMart) (by voice call). That was on 25 January 2026, when the location is closed due to bad weather. I will call tomorrow to see what's going on.
