We rented a truck without an issue. *TIP* if you want to rent dollies/ blankets you should get there early as possible as these things may not be available later in the day. When your done fold the blankets or you will be fined!! **VIP TIP* TAKE THEIR INSURANCE ! There are a lot of reckless drivers on the road and MOST private car insurance will NOT cover your rental for damages. Great service- friendly- highly recommend!

I had to make other arrangements for transport and manpower. For the past seven days I have been getting the runaround with UHaul sending me to Moving Help and vice versa to get my money. They want me to send screen shots and all that damn foolishness when they have by job code, my phone number and the record of my payment. Laritza, the young lady who helped me book my storage space was extremely accommodating ,knowledgeable and friendly. I like the fact that you can pull inside and it's heated, which will come in handy when it's cold and raining everything is clean they were even mopping while I was there and the building smells great. I moved here from another storage facility, and I could not be more pleased…read more I will give you my pro tips first: 1- Expect to spend about an hour doing the paperwork, getting the tour and having the rules and procedures explained, etc 2- you can bring your own padlock, but if you do not, you will need to pay $14 to get a lock for the facility. You cannot come back with your own padlock later. I pass 4 other storage facilities on the way to this unit. It is worth the trip. Manager Theo And everyone else inside the office and out are attentive and courteous. The place is immaculate, I have never seen such a pristine storage facility. The bathroom as well. Customer receives a unique code to access the facility. You drive your vehicle in, and park on the right (see video). There are large lifts that you can put your items onto; they bring them up to the floor that your unit is on (assuming it is not on the first floor). You can then take the stairs or the elevator to retrieve your items. Unlike my last place, where you had to wait and/or argue with other customers for use of a dolly, there seem to be enough for everyone, and you check them out in the office. I was driving a U-Haul, and they helped me get in and out, which is above and beyond in my book. All around a great experience. I would highly recommend, especially if you have been underwhelmed by other options in the area.

This was my first time hiring movers and J & G Moving exceeded my expectations! The move went so…read moresmoothly that I highly recommend them. I price-compared a ton of NYC moving companies and J & G gave me a competitive moving quote. Additionally, the building I was moving into required a certificate of insurance (COI) and J & G was able to offer it for me for free. A lot of other companies charge for this. Before moving, I communicated with them via email and they always responded promptly and were very clear about what their moving package included. The day of the move, they called and asked if it was okay if they came an hour early. They were very communicative with me during the whole move. The lead guy (forgot his name!) assessed how many things I had and then discussed with the other 2 men on how to efficiently approach the move. The 3 men were over 6' tall and strong, and they were able to finish my whole move in a little more than 1 hr! I did not have anything that was easily breakable but the men treated my things with care. They provided blanket and shrink wrapping for all of my furniture. Everything was loaded up into their truck very quickly. These guys wasted no time. When I arrived at my new apartment building, they had already started unloading my things. I had my boxes labeled with what was inside (i.e., kitchen supplies, shoes, jackets) and they actually placed each box in the corresponding room. Best of all, there were no hidden fees. They ended up not charging me a processing fee that was included in the quote and gave me $40 off my quoted price. The movers were so friendly, communicative and professional, I will definitely be using J & G Moving again! I also wanted to note that on the day of my move, the street I was moving from was blocked due to construction. J & G movers did not complain or make any mention of that until I had stepped outside of my apartment building and noticed it. But according to them, if you don't have insurance, it is on you, of course not them, why in the world would you need to fix a leaky roof flooding the very reason why people pay for storage. They want to keep something rather than throw it out, not get it ruined while you are paying someone to keep it there. The place is awful; they couldn't care less, and they already know which units get flooded. They still rent it out to you without telling you, 'Oh, by the way, it floods.' Then they have the Gual to raise the rents on you. Stay away, save yourself the grief. So you get insurance money back when your things get ruined, but that is not why you went through the trouble of storing it to begin with, is BECAUSE YOU WANT To KEEP THEM!!!!!

The will not put me in contact with the district manager Joe who should be replying to following up on all customer complaints especially when it comes to safety in their buildings. There is a huge miscommunication between office staff and when you call the customer service number 888-786-7243; I was told do not make my payment until I receive a call form the DM and then the office has the nerve to issue a one time $80 credit and then issue a $120 late fee. Be ware when renting here your monthly rent price will raise quickly and they are not staffed or equipped for any issues.
