This place is the real deal. Do not be fooled by its location (in a shabby shopping center). Dr. Linh and crew are extremely professional and competent. I have been going here for years. It is fairly easy to get an appointment and she is always on time. I also purchase my eyeglasses here. Their prices cannot be beat and they carry all the latest designers/styles. In fact, most of my family members go here when it is time to get new glasses. Last time I was here, my mom literally tried on 50 glasses and they were so kind and patient. They even ordered additional eyeglasses for her to try on. I don't think its advertised, but they also do free cleaning and adjustments on your glasses. I pop in every so often to get my sunglasses and eyeglasses adjusted. I had a little emergency a couple weeks ago while on vacation (I forgot to pack my contacts). They actually communicated with a doctor in the area where I was staying and faxed him a prescription so that I could get some to hold me over while I was out of town. My family and I been coming here for a few years now and so far we have no complaints. Dr. Linh is very friendly and answers any questions and addresses any concerns I have regarding my vision and eyes. I love how she takes off my contacts and puts them back in for me. I really want to learn how she does it all with just one finger! And I like how she gives me a trial pair of contacts when my vision changes. Her staff is also friendly and helps me every time in trying to find the right frames for me. If there isn't a color in stock that I want for the frames, they offer to look up other colors and order them for me. read more

Dr. was thorough and I felt confident about the exam. I paid only $80 for an eye exam. She also gave me a free pair of trial contacts too since my prescription had gotten slightly worst. Also, the $80 charge includes a $20 charge to dilute my eyes. This was an optional procedure. She is the ONLY optometrist I've had who puts on and takes off my contacts for me. Its a nice little touch that I appreciate. And its nice to feel taken care of. There was no wait time when I came. The Dr. was very nice and personable as the previous reviewers stated. I've come into this location for glasses and contacts and thought this was a good location as a friend recommended it. In the past when I've asked for a copy of my prescription from other optometrist I run into the same thing where I get prescription that are not completely filled out which makes it more difficult to purchase online. I have a wider head and they don't carry the size I want and sadly I take the prescription to choose glasses and the office left off the Pupillary distance which is needed to order the glasses that will fit my face. Waste of time and a trip. I would like to think they wouldn't have done that because I've purchased glasses and contacts as well as getting a vision screening here. read more

I recently purchased my first pair of eyeglasses through an online retailer. It being my first time having to take care of glasses, I didn't know not to leave them in the car during the crazy hot weather. My frames on my new glasses bent. I took them to a close by optometrist (with excellent yelp reviews) and they said that they only fix glasses if you bought it from them. I learned my lesson and called these guys in advance, they said they would be able to adjust my glasses for me. I came in 10 minutes later, waited a few minutes, and they adjusted my glasses for free! I was expecting to have to pay some kind of fee. Not only was it free but he did a great job, I could tell he was being careful and he even cleaned my lenses for me. I'll be coming here in the future! read more

After going to multiple eye doctors I happen to stop by here because it was close to my work. The frames they offer are very stylish and up to date. The Doctor knew exactly what she was doing and explained in terms I could understand what was wrong with my eyes. Putting this dood on blast: I spent what felt like an eternity scouring Amazon on 5* polarized lenses and found an army of $10-30 ranging competitors. Stuffy and whatevers, right? Pssh, I fell in love with none. A month went. Ran into a good man. A buddy of mine had introduced me to Tony Nguyen who happens to run one of OC's finest, @crystalvision optometry centers. For the record, saving money was not necessary. I make more than enough. What I'm more interested in is the history/ethos of the place. @smilingfool1226 (tony) agreed to lunch, in which he educated me on C. V. 's 20 year heritage built on basic universal laws: no sales, pure service. Easy to say, I was mega impressed with the whole 9, which made me more eager to spend a wad cash unthinkable for most common folks. Indeed is the golden rule, what you put in is what you get out. $250 for the lenses w/o frame, and I'm a happy guy. NOTE: UV protection, polycarbonate crystals, inside glare prevention, polarized. I've been coming here for years. I haven't been in quit awhile and when I finally made an appt they remembered who I was. And as Dr. Linh walked up to me and after not seeing me for along time she looked at me and was like "welcome back Alexa it's been a long time" even though they a have a lot of patients they have a pretty good memory! This is the only place I will go to, the staff is amazing and very warm and welcoming! I recommend coming here if you're looking for a place you can afford if you don't have insurance! read more

My mama comes here and honestly the dr is very nice. My mom got a prescription here and months later she needed it changed and they did free of charge when policy is only for a month. It's nice to know that they're not only after the $ and that they care for patients. read more

I've worn the glasses they made almost a year now. For some reason, I get bad headaches when I wear them. At first they seem ok. I can see good details but also noticed objects appear smaller than if I don't wear them. The headaches are worst when I look at close objects for prolonged period. Recently, I've had to use my old pair and my headaches has now gone. I use her glasses mainly for driving only. I honestly think the optometrist gave me too strong a prescription.
