I found this place on Yelp a bit before July 4th as I was new to the Everett area and needed a solid pedicure location as I have ingrown toe nails and need someone good to handle them. I found Lin and she was fabulous. I came in 2 days after they re-opened after the restrictions were lifted, and I loved Lin. She did a fabulous job, she didn't hurt me, or dig too far but was able to get them out with professionalism and kindness. I went to Crystal Nails for my 2nd time about a week ago and found that Lin is gone now, no explanation as to where she went or if she quit. I was so disappointed but had to remain positive and open minded. I had a gal, didn't know here name, she didn't talk who did my hot stone pedicure. She ignored the ingrown toe nails and did a sub-par job and yes, hurt me as she cut too close to one of the cuticles and I nearly screamed. She barely acknowledged that I was hurt. The male owner or handiman came in to install more plastic dividers around clients, and then sat down not 2 feet from me (on the next pedicure chair/foot stand where people put their feet) and chit chatted with my pedicurist and they carried on. I kept looking at him like he was way too close to me, considering the Covid guidelines. He then insisted on standing 1 foot away from me as I was trying to find my credit card to pay. He was not welcoming and had no idea what the 6 foot restrictions meant. I was so disappointed in this place, only my 2nd time there, one for Lin being gone, and then for the lack of friendliness and warmth, and then the male worker who was domineering and not good to be in a woman's face as much as he was. It was not a good relaxing experience like I really needed and wanted. I will be looking for a new nail salon. read more

I had just gotten them done a week prior at another place and decided I didn't like the design, so she removed the shellac and painted on new matte shellac with a couple glossy accent fingers with designs and painted it so I could wait a little longer for a fill and it looks so so cute. I visited this salon as a walk-in for the first time today based on the reviews and the pictures in this Yelp entry I found this morning. I tried the SMS method for the first time as well. I couldn't be happier. The owner Ann did an outstanding job. She's very careful, takes her time and meticulous with detail. All of which I really appreciate and have been looking for. They even feel better than acrylic. The design I showed her turned out absolutely adorable. I don't think I could go back to standard acrylics after this. They have a punch card for regulars. Easy pay system. Clean salon. Not too cramped. Parking wasn't bad for a small lot. They take appointments and walk-ins. I've tried so many salons in the area over the last 10 years and this is my favorite experince so far. I'm going back next weekend for a brow tint. Cannot wait to try a pedicure. read more

it was my first time here. i showed the lady a picture of the shape i wanted of my nails. they were square shaped. when she applied the acrylic she applied it in one big lump. then the filing the under part of my nails and so sharp. when it came to the drill she cut three different Cuticles and i was bleeding. it was obvious and she didn't say anything or say sorry. they are so lumpy! they look like big blocks on my fingers. i'm sticking to my regular nail place. read more

NOTE: NEW ownership! i went in expecting the same great service and quality, but after my visit, i will NOT be coming back to this salon literally ever. i've been coming to this salon 4 years and Annie had been my tech and she did amazing work. now, ownership has changed to a woman named Rose and her husband helps out along with plentiful staff. i got an acrylic set with gel and it was one of the worst salon experiences i have had. i tried to be very empathetic that i went in on a sunday and that she is newly running this shop, but she prefaces that she's been doing nails for 10 years and i bet her artistry is great but she does not know how to run a shop. i think in summary, i spent more time waiting for someone to work on my nails even though i had a scheduled appointment with Rose and everyone who worked on my nails (because i was thrown around to different techs) was completely rushing and doing a horrible job just to finish my service. i pointed out things to fix and was ignored. my observation is that they have made and committed more appointments than they can handle so when you get there you are rushed with the tech and they payed absolutely NO attention to detail. you are going to be thrown around to different people because no one has time to work on you 1 on 1. when i finally sat with rose, she rushed so much and cut me so many times, my nails were in pain until the next day. the acrylic is uneven. the nails are of all different lengths. i waited an hour in a chair after walking in before one of the other techs started on my tips and she was rushing my service and completely careless. i was so stressed out because of how fast she was going to move on to the two women next to me. rose then sat me in a different chair, looked at the tips and told me to wait. i waited 45 mins, then she came back and applied the acrylic. then she told me that someone else would do the painting for my french tips. mind you, she used pink acrylic instead of nude so that she could save time on not having to paint them a color that i would have wanted. i told her my appointment is with her and i wanted her to finish my painting because at this point i had been in the shop since 2 pm and it was nearing 5 pm. she told me that another woman had an appt with her and she was waiting in the shop and she was getting mad so if i wanted her to finish on my nails I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT LONGER??? that was literally my last straw and i stood my ground asking her to finish and she did so by rushing my painting in 15 mins. then she left and another tech did the designs. if you read up to this point, literally don't go here. i am so upset i had such high hopes and i've been in this area for 10 years and have been to any shop you could think of and Annie was the best ever. the amazing reviews you are reading do not reflect the service that is at this salon now. read more

This was my first time coming in and I was very disappointed. I got a full set and pedicure. One, the massage chairs weren't even on when I got a pedicure, not sure why. Whoever did my acrylics cut my nail way too close to my skin and still continued to file it even more, it was clearly painful but didn't apologize or anything. My acrylics aren't even close to covering my whole nail and the sides of my nails aren't fully coated. I pointed out that my nail polish was bumpy but they just put nail polish over it, so it looks even more bumpy, on top of it being clearly uneven. My nails were also cut very short. Not even five minutes after walking out of the salon, the nail polish was already chipping and coming off. For the amount of money I paid, I could've just done it myself. Quality wasn't there. Will not be returning. Really hope they take these reviews into consideration. read more

I came here on a Groupon months ago and they did a great job (mani pedi) so I came back today to pay full price for additional services and was very disappointed. My acrylics are not even close to covering my entire real nails, the surface wasn't smoothed out and underneath the acrylics she did not file or clean up. Didn't even clean off my hands before painting the nail and they are not square as requested. I even had to ask for one of the nails to be painted because half of the tip was bare. The guy did a great pedicure though which is the only reason I left a tip. Also, she waxed my right eyebrow so thin that it visibly looks 50% thinner. So much for treating myself for my bday, I'm so embarrassed so go out now. Will not return! read more

If I could give no star I would. Absolutely horrible service from nail techs that gaslight you. I don't understand how when I had an appointment booked for a specific appointment for over a week in advance, then after being texted to come in a hour later because they were busy, they gaslight me and lectured me about being "late" and "moving my appointment time" on my own. I didn't. I got a text from the company asking me to move my time- which was fine but coming at me until I'm getting near in tears for a fault of the company? Makes no sense. They followed me up with "we were just sitting here waiting for you" when *they* asked me to move my appointment time. If you were so bored why did you move the time then lecture me about something that was your fault? The nails were horrible quality and really not worth it. I wish I could remove the whole experience from my brain. I wanted a basic nail idea and the tech kept trying to talk me out of it. Why? It was a simple clean French tip nothing else. It was like they were so upset they had to spend more than 2 minutes with me. Really please save yourself the trip and go anywhere else. Not very happy with my experience at first it was ok. So I had three different people do my toes and polish is falling off and hadn't even been a week. My nails weren't even cleaned before placing tips on them and it hasn't been a week and my nails are bubbled and starting to come off I haven't done my nails in a long while I understand I was a walk in but, I got there when they opened and nobody was there. Well I know people have their regulars and appointment people are probably more important but, I felt as though I was rushed out and had no care especially with my nails already coming off because seemed as though they had better clients to attend too. I do not plan on going back just very irritated and frustrated for what I paid and I tipped very well but shouldn't of had to top so big because I had so many people work on me. I have to say that I absolutely love Miss Annie. She is the owner of the salon and she is so friendly, and always making sure that my nails are beyond perfect when I leave. I will never go anywhere else, unless she is out of town. I needed to get my nails done desperately and she was not available. I will only see her, and she is the only one that does the pink and white dip system (SNS). I ended up going to another salon where the lady was a total bitch. Made a last minute appointment with Annie and she is amazing! I had acrylic nails and she removed them painlessly and in record time. Not to mention, my acrylic set had been fairly new, which makes them even harder to remove but it was no problem for Annie. She was very thorough from start to finish. Called early morning and got an appointment same day for a manicure and pedicure I got there 20 minutes early and my apt started 11 minutes late which is fine because it's my day off I understand they were busy but I was only able to get my manicure done because by the time she finished I had to head out to my next appointment elsewhere for my hair. I'm really happy with the manicure she was gentle and the color looks great I just wish they paid more attention to what services I booked when I got there versus at the end of the manicure. When the card was full and I presented it to receive my free pedicure I was told by the owner that she was no longer honoring it. I am a loyal customer and feel it was very poor customer service to not honor a promotion that clearly did not have an expiration date to a long time/ loyal customer. it has taken me while to actually make this review. I have been coming here for over a year now, and since January of 2020 i have not been happy. I keep going back because i understand sometimes but now this is getting ridiculous. I was there on september 25th for SNS white tips. #1 the white powder had hair in it and she just left it.(the lady told me that no one but us could see the hair in almost all of my nails, honey, the only reason i do my nails is for me to be happy, not other people) Then i was told that the rough spot on my nail was because of my nail. I was not happy and was told and that i would get a $3.00 discount. Well my set before was $50.00 so why was i told this day that after $3.00 discount my set would cost $51.00! WHAT? then was told i could come back for a full new set on Wednesday ( I did NOT go). on monday 5 of my nails have cracks down the middle of them , one chipped and they look 3 weeks old. The time before my set was beautiful. but the time before that, the lady did one hand until completely finished while my other hand still had foil on to remove previous set, then of course my nails on each hand were completely different lengths and i was not paying for tips as these are my natural nails. and these are not my only bad experiences. I will not be going back. NOT EVEN IF IT IS FREE! i complained once about my qualify of pedicure and was told to go to cosmoprof (a professional beauty supply store) to get my own foot scrubber. like WHAAAAAAAAAT... very rude and displeasing. the price is insane for the quality. I love this salon. The location is very accessible, they honor appts, and the SNS manicure is amazing. My nails go for weeks looking like the day I left the salon. And it makes my real nails grow faster and stronger. Also, their premium and deluxe pedicures are a great value. The paraffin and hot stones are the perfect after work treat.
