I had a great meal here tonight! Kentucky Club sandwich with sidewinder fries - and a side salad. The salad was a little watery, and not a whole lot to it - but, the croutons were great, and the blue cheese dressing was SO good! The fries were delicious, and the sandwich was awesome! The service was awesome, I think it was Matt? He gave some great suggestions, and he was attentive and friendly! The space is comfortable- old school diner-ish. My whole experience was great! The wait always seems longer than it should be on the weekends, however their friendly staff makes up for it. It's near our house and the ambiance is great. Very friendly. On to the food, the cinnamon roll is good but a little dry. They always seem to be out of them when we go. We did try a white chocolate raspberry cheese cake which was decent. My husband got the biscuits and gravy which he enjoyed and I got the huecos rancheros. They were fine but I probably won't be getting them again. I've never seen them prepared that way. read more

This cafe is like going to Disney Land. My favorite foods delicious and always more than I can eat. I used to go often when I worked nearby. But when I think of a Monte Cristo or a chocolate shake this is my my spot. Good food and good customer service. read more

Just letting everyone know this a chain with that said the staff is always polite and positive,or does get all little busy on the weekends. I prefer it over Millcreek & Woodinville. Cost also is responsible the decor trying to be Amicana but really just a big fake plane. read more

My Monte Cristo was cold. The waitress only came to the table twice, than once to bring the check. We ordered Iced Tea and our glasses sat empty the whole time we waited for our food and during our meal. Everything we asked for she didn't bring. In this case the service did alter our experience. A different server probably would have made a difference. read more

My go to breakfast spot. It never disappoints. The California omelet and pumpkin pancakes are the best!

Solid food and service. Many plates offered at a "half" portion. We always enjoy our meals and ambiance.

My favorite cafe nearby! We've been to most of their other sister cafes (there are seven) and they all have consistently good service and food. The themes are neat in each cafe too. I really like that they use fresh fruit, not the gross frozen syrupy stuff most cafes use. I highly recommend checking this place (or their other locations) out! read more

I came here with a group of friends Saturday morning. It was very busy and there were about 7 people waiting to be seated ahead of us. We didn't wait too long to be seated. The water tastes weird and I noticed it in the food as well. I'm not sure if it's faucet water they're using for everything but it has a very distinct taste that's worse than water at a public park fountain. I don't even think public park fountains are bad at all. I would not be the first to suggest we come back here but would not be opposed to it either. read more

Was starving after a late morning workout, and I was looking for for a place with good and substantially portioned breakfast, and my friend recommended this place. I ordered a Popeye scramble with egg whites and pancakes and I was beyond pleased with the food, probably the best/tatiest/most savory egg white scramble I've had, and the pancakes were just perfect, accompanied by quality butter and syrup. Only complaint I have is that took a while to get the attention of the folks in the front, get sat, and then to get started (coffee, water type of thing), and then to put the order in. Granted, they were busy that day, but they could have been a little more attentive. I worked in restaurants for a few years, so I pay particular attention to service quality. If you go during prime time hours, be patient and plan to wait. That said, I will definitely go back for more, they have many things on their menu I'd like to try read more

The Chicken Fried Steak was a bit on the bland side, but salt and pepper perked it up a bit. Service was a bit sparse, more table visits by the waitress would have been nice. One of our favorite go-to breakfast establishments. The service is always good. The wait to be seated can be 10-15 minutes when busy, but so worth it. We have sat in the bar a few times. The corn beef hash is the best I've had at a restaurant. We also enjoy the lemon-blueberry pancakes, they are like eating a Lucious dessert. Pumpkin pancakes are good too. Good portion of beef which was fall apart good but seemed as though it was baked separately. Oh and the bit of mushrooms were also good. Preferred the roll instead of the toast...so good call there. Key lime pie ... 0 citrus flavor. Interesting kinda crispy crust...almost tasted like syrup was the crust binding agent. So disappointed. I'll try again. First, I've only been to the Bothell location. Twice. Second, I've only had the Kobe Burger Dip sandwich. Lastly, my life is more complete because of it. This sandwich is amazing! It's juicy (you're dipping in au jus so of course it is), and delicious. I don't know how to describe it otherwise. It's not like a traditional hamburger, not really. It's more like a patty melt. With a dip. Just try it. You'll thank me. This has been our go to diner style food location for 14 years. It is consistently good with customer service, tasty food, good atmosphere, and a great variety of food options for the whole family. Another great experience at this family of cafes around the Pacific Northwest! I have now been to 4 of these cafes and am always impressed with the quality of the food as well as the experience. Like the other locations this one had a line when we came here for brunch after church one Sunday. We each had coffee immediately after we were seated and then promptly ordered entrees. I had the create your own omelette with avocado on top and pumpkin pancakes as my bread side. The meal was filling and delicious - everything I could have hoped for and more. My gluten-free friend had the huevos rancheros minus the tortilla (they make it in house and mix the flour and corn tortilla mix :() with hash browns, while my other friend had the biscuits and gravy. Everyone enjoyed their dishes and we ate every bite! This restaurant is an excellent choice for brunch and I will definitely be back in the future.
