Delicious breakfast! We ordered take out online and it was easy breezy. We ordered Corned beef hash, pulled pork breakfast burrito, chicken fried steak and the waffle with berries and banana. All were great!! The chicken fried steak was my order and it did NOT disappoint. The staff was very friendly at pick up. My favorite breakfast spot in the entire Seattle metropolitan area for about a year. I often come from lower Queen Anne just for the corned beef hash. These ladies bust their butts with the most delightful attitudes. They're super attentive and spot on with service. Sarah Is one of my favorite servers that I can recognize but honestly all of these ladies work so hard. Come have a great meal, with great service and tip them because they deserve it! The food was good, it was the service that was terrible. Our waitress Rosa had no clue about the menu. My family had to explain to her the difference between items that she had no clue about. Thanks to the manager and another waitress , we would of had no service. She never once came back to check on us so I had to flag down another waitress to help me. She was very nice but don,t know her name. After finishing our dinner, the manager was nice to come back and check on us and we were ready to leave 10 minutes prior. But by then it was too late, poor service was already done and the manager knew it and paid half of our bill because he is a good manager looking out for the best interest of his customers. I've been here on two separate occasions now and really like the menu options available. For breakfast, I got the half order of the berry blintz (so much food!) which was SO good and rich. My husband got the biscuits and gravy plate and I've never been more jealous of his meal at a restaurant before tbh. The gravy was insane. For lunch, I just got a ranch turkey sandwich and it was tasty albeit kind of standard. Several members of my family ordered the monte christo though and they were thrilled with it. Been coming here for breakfast frequently - your classic home cooked meals, decent menu, quick attentive service. Seems like the staff is fairly stable so that tells me theyre running a pretty good shop here. I've really enjoyed the meals i've had here - fresh, hot, well prepared and seasoned. Banquet room can be had by reservation with a minimal food purchase commitment I like that many of their dishes can be made smaller or half portions for a little less $$. read more

Pre-COVID 19 review: My friend and I walked in around 9 am on a Friday and were immediately seated. The staff was super sweet and cheery, which was a great start to our morning experience. We ordered the almond crunch french toast and a build-your-own omelette which came with a side of hash browns, toast and fruit preserves. Although the food was delicious, it was a bit cold which made it slightly disappointing as we had been waiting for 30 mins. We often visit the Woodinville location and the food tastes just as good, and we usually don't have to wait that long either! Normally I like this place. It's the closest place resembling a diner near the north end where you can order steak and eggs for dinner and enjoy it. Great breakfasts, and friendly service usually - but today I saw something truly baffling. Bad service for no reason. Lady eating breakfast with her friend next to me at the counter orders a breakfast but wants pancakes instead of the usual hashbrowns and toast. They get their food at the same time, but her order gets delivered with hashbrowns and toast just like her friend, so before she starts eating reminds the server she should have pancakes. Here's where it gets strange. Server apologizes, but takes the plate from her. She's left holding a fork in her hand with no food. Her friend picks at her food waiting for her friend to get her food back but ultimately starts eating. They exchange jokes about sharing what they have. Server returns with the same plate of food as before minus the hashbrowns and toast then has to go get the pancakes 2nd. While she's gone the woman is stunned she's looking at a big plate with just eggs on it. Server brings a 2nd plate with pancakes, cheerily asks if everything looks good (customer is too confused to really say anything) so the server leaves. So the server makes a mistake but instead of simply getting her pancakes actually replates her eggs and throws the rest away. She makes more work for herself and snubs the customer too, who has to wait while her friend eats. It's petty, dumb looking and obvious to everyone sitting around the customer. So a bunch of people noticed including me, and after the fact I can tell the server knows WE know that was a bad play. The odd thing is this server is clearly one of the more experienced servers and may actually be the manager. This kind of thing makes me not want to come back. read more

Every once and awhile we will treat the family to breakfast out instead of cooking at home. We decided to grab breakfast on a Saturday morning recently, arriving at 7:45 am. We were able to sit at the "old school diner breakfast bar" which my family loves to do. By the time we got our check the place was PACKED! It was perfect timing, we were able to have our coffee and eat in silence and then once we had that second coffee and waited on the check it was full on weekend rush with a wait to get a seat. Food was delicious, everyone was happy with their orders. Coffee was good and fresh. I would recommend this place for a breakfast/brunch out with friends or family. My wife and I have eaten here five or six times and each time was good. The most recent visit was Friday after Christmas for lunch with my brother. All three of us agree, we had a wonderful lunch. Our attendant was ROSA who was friendly and helpful. It seems she actually enjoyed serving us. The staff inside was great. Everything was packaged and put together so nice. The onion rings, fries, turkey melt, a BLTA, and Malibu chicken sandwich was exactly as we remembered. A pretty straightforward breakfast joint, it's hard to be disappointed at Crystal Creek Café with its standard brunch dishes and drinks. We stopped by on a Monday morning around noon and were quickly seated in the dining area (with the option to sit in the bar). Our waitress was friendly, fast and came by often to check up on us and refill our coffee. We decided to go with the following: -Strawberry waffle - Ordered sans whipped cream, I tend to lean towards thinner waffles like this one :) -Triple fruit crepes with scrambled eggs & bacon - This one comes with a TON of whipped cream, bananas, strawberries and blueberries! Even for someone with my kind of sweet tooth, the whipped cream became a bit overwhelming at the end (can you say soggy crepes? haha..) The taste isn't "out of this world" amazing, but both dishes were still pretty good and what you'd expect. :) My only regret? Not ordering the M&M hot chocolate! read more

Since January 2020, I have been a patron of Crystal Creek Cafe, as well as introduced so many friends and family to the establishment. This evening, we dropped into the cafe for dinner and the food still is amazing! However, I will remove three stars due to the customer service. When we stopped in for our early dinner there were about three other families, that is it. We were then seated in the back; near the bathroom area. Everyone was social distanced. That soon changed once our food got to us. Another party was seated; but right behind us. I doubt that was a smart move Crystal Creek Cafe given the concern of the new omicron variant now in the USA. By the way, there was an entire booth section empty on the opposite side for everyone to be well spaced out. Even though we were already eating, they offered to move us instead of the patrons that just sat down. Crystal Creek Cafe said they weren't doing anything wrong and going with the state mandate however the mandate really requests patrons have vaccine cards and /or negative test results to show so they are not following state mandate. Anyway, we got the rest of our meal to go. Yea, they comped us two black coffees but we were not seen nor heard this evening. read more

The hostess greeted us upon arrival and was friendly. Our server was also really nice and kept our coffee topped up. She did forget our water(which we asked for), but remembered it right before we left. Overall service was good and I'll definitely come back here. Got the banana walnut waffles and they were decent. Wish the bananas were in the batter and I like mine a bit fluffier. They were ok. My husband on the other hand ordered the French toast which is really good! Love that they serve it with some fresh fruit. Price is also fair. Interior is decorated with an aerial/flight theme which is pretty cool. They have a plane inside the cafe- how fun is that?!
