Crusty's has been a staple in my family for most of my life. This small, family owned, pizza shop truly serves up the best pizza, salads, and spinach pies around! Everything is made to order and they never have a problem modifying for any allergies or dislikes. My favorite things to order are the spinach pie and the Greek salad which total about $12 and are large enough to either feed two, or serve as great leftovers. Keep in mind that Crusty's does not deliver, but you will never have to wait more than 20 minutes for amazing food! read more

Crusty's is what's up in Warwick. Like many other fine Warwick pizza establishments, they don't deliver. I don't understand why this is so but we're all on a don't ask, don't tell policy when it comes to this so no harm there and no points lost. Now. I fancy myself an Italian sub connoisseur. afaic the Italian is the gold standard by which any pizza place should be measured, even ahead of the pizza. My general rule of thumb is if they can do an Italian right, the rest of the menu will follow suit and this rule has never failed me. While Crusty's may not make the best Italian I've ever had, they are the hands down titleholder in Warwick. Shonuff their pizza, spinach pies, gyro...all on point. Good prices, solid hard-working staff. They have earned their status as my go-to pizza and sub shop down hea. read more

Meatball pizza was excellent. No meatball slices, but lots of beef. Loved it. The employees were very friendly and helpful.

It was a much better place to get pizza before Laki sold it. Lately the pizza has been over cooked!. The current staff is rude and unprofessional! I witnessed a worker making rude remarks about a customer who had just made a purchase ahead of me. The customer had already checked in and paid for his order and after 10 minutes they realized that his order was already done and sitting in the box on top of the oven! The gentleman's order was sitting there the entire time!! They gave him a half assed apology and then made disparaging comments about him after he left! I live near this place and had never tried anything until yesterday, I got 2 large pizzas for under 20 dollars and I was very impressed, they were excellent the prices were more than reasonable. I don't know anywhere else I could have gotten two such large tasty pizzas for such a reasonable price. The wait time for them was very reasonable also. I have been searching for the consistently best pizza in the area. This is it. Well cooked, good fresh taste, good crust, made with care and excellent spread if toppings. People are friendly and helpful. Gyros are great, like I used to get at a Greek delivery when I was a kid. On busy days one of the original owners works the register and talks about quality and the product. Really tops in my book. read more

This is hands-down my favorite pizza place in RI. (Points also because the owners, who are Greek, call their calzones "Trojan horses.") Contrary to a review below, there is NOT such a thing as too much cheese. They use a lot of cheese. I cannot understand how this could be a negative. Personally, I consider it a selling point. Well.....we had a garage sale recently at my Wifes Cousins place and they picked up some pizza from here that afternoon. We loved it! We are new to Warwick (from West Warwick..haha!) and looking for a pizza place. We asked where it was from and they said "Crusty's, just down the road!". Our next pizza order for ourselves was placed with Crusty's and again, it was really great! No delivery but not a problem to drive a couple miles and get some good pizza! So-so. The staff was glum and the general ambiance was uninviting. I got a spinach pie with the works. When I took a bite, it was obvious the pie wasn't freshly made. The exterior was heated, but the filling was ice-cold. To top it off, the flavor was was very bland. In the 10 minutes I was there I saw 3 people come and pick up take-out orders of pizza, several boxes each, so maybe that's their specialty. No public restroom that I could see, either (which is a pet peeve of mine...if you have sit-down booths, you are a restaurant, not a food truck, and should provide a bathroom for your customers.) Began placing an order on the phone and had THE WORST customer service ever. I began by ordering a large pepperoni pizza. Next I asked about their pigs in a blanket. From my understanding and time on this earth, pigs in a blanket are hot dogs and a croissant. I asked "does this come with just one hot dog or multiple?" The gentlemen on the phone then said "it's sausage." I said, "it's not a hot dog in a croissant?" He replied, "it's sausage. Sausage is pork, pork is a pig, that's why it's pigs in a blanket." Not sure what this guy is lacking in his life that he has to be incredibly rude and sarcastic to his customers but I cancelled my order and will never go there ever. read more

Been going to Crusty's for years, since the days of Lakis. Transitioned to new owners and the quality suffered some but we kept coming. Workers they hire since Lakis have been the worst part of transition. We've ignored the workers fighting themselves, smoking outside the front doors while we try to enter but Friday we saw something I never imagined. New owner was sitting in a booth talking to some guy and one of her employees.. the heavy guy who seems to be the manager.. was taunting a customer that he would knock his teeth out. Crusties is my first and almost weekly local choice for Rhode Island's Greek style pizza restaurants. Always good, generously topped, I taught my son to eat spinach by getting a a half-spinach( (that means cheese on the whole here) and letting him have a nicely bronzed cheesy slice after a generously topped spinach slice . Prices are good, spinach pies are good, Greek salad, mmmm. Sure it's iceberg lettuce but the cheese and the dressing are great. Dining in is yourself ( mostly) and limited to 6 booths and some good counter seating. Parking is good and close. I haven't sandwiched there. I used to live close by, and I still drive past a few places to go to Crusty's. It's also immaculate in their work areas. F read more

Great pizza pies. Love their spinach pies. Tastey sandwiches. Dont be fooled by these ole guys when calling in an order, short and to the point. They are quick and care about your food. Crusty's pizza continues to be the best local pizza in Warwick, Rhode Island. I have been going there continuously with my family for 15 years and they have never disappointed! The pizza is phenomenal and one of a kind. All of their grinders are filled with the freshest ingredients ranging from eggplant to tuna to pastrami. You walk in and immediately feel at home. The place is filled with pictures of local baseball and soccer teams they have sponsored over the many years they have been open. They make it a point to give back to the Warwick community.
