Ordered my food on door dash and was able to apply a discount on my order which was a nice surprise. I have always enjoyed their pizza and you can even grab slices at this location. This time we tried their garlic bread with cheese with extra garlic and it was really good and you could tell they use real garlic. We also tried their garlic knots with extra garlic and I felt they were okay. They had a nice consistency but the garlic didn't stay on the knots as well. My kids loved the garlic bread more! The mozzarella sticks were good! I really enjoyed my Stromboli and my husband enjoyed his calzone. They were both a nice consistently and not oily. It also came with plenty of sauce to use as I wasn't sure if I should order extra but it came with the perfect amount. Used to love this place and order almost weekly.... But something has changed over the last month, especially with our last order. Maybe a new cheese brand? Or using frozen cheese? The staff were helpful and accommodating as our pizzas were ready 15 minutes after they opened. The pizzas were piping hot, thick crust, plenty of sauce and toppings- everyone loved it! Always a favorite. Great NY style, lots of flavor. Always call ahead and give yourself time, can sometimes be a wait on the busy days. I always suggest extra cheese to keep it from getting dry on the way home. More of a take home type of location. Came here on a Rhode Island Food Fights passport to hit up the Federal Hill pizza places on the list. This is likely a popular place because it'll be affordable for the college kids who also aren't that discerning about the food they're eating. The problem is it's on Federal Hill, where there are a lot of discerning palettes. I'll start off by saying I'm not a gigantic fan of slice places. I'm also not a giant fan of New York style pizza. I think it's super overrated. The slices here lived up to my expectations. What I did not expect was that the cheese slice would be significantly better than the pepperoni. Because it was reheated, the back end of the crust was very crispy but it was floppy as you get closer to the end of the slice. The pepperoni slice was dripping with oil while I was trying to eat it. Both slices were aggressively average. The cheese slice wasn't bad. If I live nearby and I'm hungry and there's nothing else around I'd go there and get a couple of those. The pepperoni slice wasn't worth revisiting. Overall I would rate it about a 6.5. We had a chicken parm sandwich as well. The bread was excellent, which I would expect with so many good bakeries around it. The chicken was real chicken, hand breaded, not some frozen, fried patty. The sauce and cheese were mediocre. If they were better it would have been a great sandwich. There's a very large menu with a lot of different choices, including interesting desserts. Overall a very average experience in an exceptional location for food. read more

Decent food, quick delivery. Appreciated the contactless delivery as some places still try to force you to sign a receipt. I ordered online and got an eggplant parm hero as well as a pizza - full pepperoni with half green peppers and mushrooms. The pepperoni pizza was pretty good - good flavor, cooked just right. Not the best I've ever had, but good. You can tell the dough was fresh made and homemade. There was a lot of disappointment as the peppers were RAW which is kind of weird. This is the first time I've ever ordered green pepper on a pizza and got it raw instead of cooked! The eggplant parm hero was good, but the sauce was nothing special. However the eggplant itself was tender and cooked perfect. A lot of times places can't do this and end up with soggy gross eggplant but Napolitanos does this really well. I think this just needed a little salt or maybe a more flavorful sauce. I would definitely order the hero again though, it was good in my book! I think I would give this place another try and instead of trying to order custom toppings, stick with the specialty pizza menu. Those look awesome. Do not get the Sicilian style. We got a 1/2 sheet delivered through doordash and it was $45. I wouldn't have minded the price so much if it was actually good. The dough was at least 2 inches think and the entire pie was tasteless and bland. Like having some tomato sauce, little cheese and olives on top of a tasteless thick bread. Worst part, though, is their pizzas are very expensive, and definitely not worth what they're charging. They taste okay, but sorta light on the toppings, and not very filling. I've been wanting to try this place because the photos on the website looked good, but beware they're very deceiving. I got a large pizza half cheese half chicken, six piece garlic knots, fries and a buffalo chicken grinder... total coming to $50. There were barley any fries in the order, the garlic knots lacked garlic and I had the worst grinder I have ever had. Sad to say I won't be a repeat customer. My entire family who ate the pizza (3 people) said they disliked the pizza and compared it to gas station pizza. read more

Quality Pizza We got a take-out pizza here using a Groupon deal. I was impressed with the quality of their ingredients. They don't skimp. Their veggie pizza included roasted red peppers, San Marzano tomatoes, artichoke hearts, etc. and the dough was very fresh. Good prices for the quality. My went in and got the pizza, so I can't comment on the service other than she had no complaints. Would go there again and willingly pay full price. Recommended. I have had the pleasure of living close by to Napolitano's Brooklyn Pizza for the last year and what a year it has been. Napolitano's has supplied pizzas for many a movie night, football game, and last minute dinner at my household. Actually, with pots, pans, and plates all packed away, it was our first meal in the new place. There's only two things I have ever ordered from this New York style pizzeria.... pizza and garlic knots. Just thinking about the garlic knots, my mouth starts to water. Just try them, they're worth it. Be prepared though when you open the container... the garlicky fumes may blow you away. With regard to the pizza, the cheese blend they use is what makes it so delicious in my opinion. I am partial to the salami pizza myself but you can get a number of other varieties as well including a variety of vegetables, meats, and cheeses. So so good. A pizza usually takes about 25-30 minutes when I call ahead. I have only ever gone to pick it up myself so I don't have feedback regarding their delivery. If I could give no stars I definitely would l. On a Tuesday night I placed an order for one pizza to be delivered at 5:40, I called right after placing the order to make sure the order went through. They did explain because it was outside of their delivery area, note we are 11 minutes from the restaurant, that it was going to be a little bit longer than normal. I've been called an hour after our order was placed to check on the delivery and confirmed our cell phone number and with delivery instructions and said where we were, they confirm the delivery was out. 25 minutes later no pizza and the driver was back without delivering our order. I gave cell phone number specific delivery instructions in an hour and a half later on a Tuesday night mind you we still had no pizza and the driver was back at the restaurant with our order. I've been argued and told them I would receive a refund and they said they couldn't refund our order. I've been argued and said I will receive a refund this was unacceptable and I've called twice to confirm the order with instructions and my phone number! Absolute ridiculousness and terrible customer service. Customer service is terrible beware of the terrible customer service and it is quite a shame because the pizza is really good but we will never order from here again and I will let everyone know in our area issues we've had read more

What a hidden gem. Almost missed it driving by! Walked in and was immediately hit with the smell of delicious pizza in the oven...cue salivating. It's small and there are only a few seats so I'd suggest coming earlier in the evening if you plan on eating in. I didn't mind eating there though! Sometimes I'm an early bird for dinner so it wasn't hard to find a spot to sit! Only tried the pizza but I noticed they had Nutella filled fried dough and cannoli (filled fresh to order) anddddd homemade ice cream for $5 a pint. Um yes please. Also on my next visit I fully intend to try their deep fried calzone (as if calzones weren't already good enough). Workers were super friendly. They had our large pizza ready 5 mins after ordering only because they were making that pizza for slices to go but still...pizza in 5 minutes: a great first impression. I love seeing little pizza joints like this. Took off a star because the pizza was a little too greasy for me (but my fiancé claims pizza can never be too greasy but that's why he's not on Yelp hehe) & it was pretty hot inside the place on a 70 degree day (which doesn't bother me personally because I'm perpetually cold but may be bothersome to others). I received a groupon as a birthday gift for the Sunday Family Dinner special in this place. It turned out to be the best birthday gift I received. Make no mistake. This is a down-to-earth, no-frills pizza joint sharing space with a gentleman's club and a popular taco shop in a strip mall, in the middle of a nearly obscure East St. in Cranston, parallel to New London Av. BUT the food is nothing less than outstanding, the service at dine in is genuinely attentive, and there is absolutely nothing pretentious about the full experience. I give this spot 5 stars! Generously sized pizza (that large is good for 3-4 people!), amazing garlic fries-- while a tad salty and greasy, possibly the Best. Garlic Fries. Ever. (Check out the garlic in that photo). The wings! I have stopped eating chicken wings since having a nauseous experience recently, having been assaulted by the smell of a huge batch in a buffet, but I definitely made an exception for this one. It was that good (at least, for me--see pictures). Best part is that they do not have the garlic mozzarella wings on the menu but they were more than happy to indulge me. Out came a really "bad" looking plate of tempting wings. When I say 'bad', I mean really, really good. I know. My description is ironic but this place churns out dishes that are so bad (pulling out all the stops) that they are actually so good. If you can relate to this description, you know this place deserves a swing by. Most of all, the staff, from the cashier (who was patient with my dozens of questions), to the cooks and servers, even the delivery guy/supervisor, who took my preferences seriously, is A+. Got to be 1 of the best NY style pizzeria around. Great sauce and fantastic crust. Don't expect an abundance of toppings on the pie due to the fact it's a really thin crust and can't support weight. The slices are big but they feel light. However after 2 slices you'll feel pretty content and may not even be able to eat a 3rd slice. This spot has become 1 of my favorites. read more

I do stand by my last review but I have to update with my recent experience. My father just returned from the hospital and just got his appetite back. He wanted a meatball sub so we chose to try Napolitano's again. We ordered a meatball sub, and a pizza with half cheese only and half spinach and basil. Now - I just say we used Door Dash so maybe that's where we went wrong. When we received the goods, I opened the pie and it was all spinach and basil. I typically wouldn't call to make a fuss but dad really just wanted cheese. So I called and explained the situation. The woman on the phone was very sweet and offered to refund or have her delivery guy send a pizza when he returned from his route. I insisted we didn't need a whole pizza, just a few cheese slices would be fantastic. Fast forward an hour or so and up to the door comes a whole cheese! I have to commend the costumer service. My dad hadn't had an appetite in a while and he's not easily impressed due to having a culinary background but he said "this meatball sub is the best I ever had!" The pizza was fantastic as well. This was my go to place for a good burger, but I think I may give up. I used to get a delicious, juicy burger for about $11. Not only has the price gradually risen to $16.99, but the quality has increasingly lowered! My burger today was very dry. The bun was stale, maybe. Not sure what the issue was but it wasn't good. And even though I always ask for American cheese, I'm pretty sure they just keep putting provolone. And today, it was like a piece of burnt plastic on the already dried out meat. So disappointed.
