in town for a couple days and decided to order a pizza and a couple of side salads. i chose this place because of the good reviews and the wide selection of pizza toppings. i thought the food was excellent. the pizza was well cooked (thin crust) but not burnt with good amount of veggies. the salads were fresh and crisp too. note: you can eat in at couple little tables but it's very small place. i'm guessing they do mostly take out & delivery. read more

Out of the 3 right next to each other this is the worst one. No flavor under cooked and way over priced. I tried it twice and will never go back. read more

The best pizza I've had since being here in Rhode Island. I try places and can't replace. It's so bad, that Pier is always a good option when I'm trying to eat willy nilly. I love these guys and gal, pizza fire. read more

First time trying the pizza from here and I would definitely say I would go back. I ordered 4 pizzas for a party and they were all very tasty. Only thing I'd change is on the CBR is more ranch but that still was a decent pizza read more

A tasty cheese slice. Nice cheese and sauce ratio, in a perfect word I would add 25% more sauce. Proper fold, crunch and minimal tip flop. The dough had a nice texture but was bland. I would definitely go again. Would skip the pepperoni- seems they are using the same thin sliced super salty over fennelled pepperoni many places use in RI. Too bad- a wide ultra thin slice can be far better than those thick cupped plugs other places use IF they do the spicing right. read more

Never been inside, only ever ordered delivery. I don't like the salads... At all. However, amazing pizza and calzones. A large pizza is abnormally large. A medium pizza is everyone else's large. So you can feed a lot off a smaller pizza. Definitely worth checking out this place. read more

Last pier pizza I've eaten at was the store front at the old pit and patio location in the pier village (Narragansett) That may have been the original location, but no longer there. It was really good there. This location is pretty much just a few young kids working. Restuarant is tiny with a couple if tables and chairs. Very old and unkept from what I can see and I didn't need to look any more than I did. Otherwise I may not have stayed and ordered. Ordered a medium Brooklyn special which costed just under $16.00 Now mind you the is very little toppings on their pizzas. The toppings are light because the pie is stretched thin so the pie needs to cook fast and toppings will not cook properly and the crust will not support the added weight and moisture. Other than a complete clean out and wash down of the interior the pie is still pretty good. read more

This place has good pizza when they make ot right.. It is never consistent.. Took a pic to show why.. Why would they deliver a pizza like this? Idk but I promise this is the last time we order. I didn't even call and complain cuz they don't do anything anyway.. They are consistent with giving pizza that is too well done or not done enough. Don't bother... read more

Pier Pizza - Gross.. Seriously done - Pizza Near Me - Warwick, Rhode Island

Update: I've gotten Pier Pizza twice now since my original review, and unfortunately, it seems that first perfect pie was a fluke. The once thin, crisp crust is now so saturated with grease that it bends at a 90 degree angle at the base of the slice. If this was my first visit, I wouldn't leave a review, because it would be 1 Star, and I don't leave those. But, since I'm still hoping that maybe onnneeee more future visit will restore my faith, I'll meet at middle ground and settle for a 3. Best NY style in Warwick. Huge pizza, huge slices. If you prefer thin crust pizza over the doughier Greek style crust, this is your spot. Pro tip: a slice of Pier Pizza pepperoni with drizzle of Mikes Hot Honey... :Italian chef kiss: read more

Good Product Quality product, could be cooked a bit more. This place is strictly for takeout. Nice thin crust pizza with good dough and toppings. The service was done well too, very nice people. I would give this place another star but our pizza wasn't cooked enough and you can't really eat in. Tip: Order small pizzas, well done. We got one and it was pretty damn good. Our large pizza was pretty underdone. Thanks read more

Ordered Pier Pizza for our son's birthday party. We got 2 Big Rhoda's, one cheese and one pepperoni. These bad boys are 28" round and cut party style. Fed 30 people and we still had extra to bring home. Solid pizza, 7.1 read more

Very good pizza... that takes a lot saying i am from NYC and expect a good pie. I lived in Rhode Island for some years and they did not have pizza like this when I lived there. read more

Good stuff. Pizza crust was chewy and foldable - chicken bacon ranch. Also got the sausage and meatball grinder. Highly recommend.

Picked up a couple slices to go while in town, was very impressed ! Prices were very reasonable and service was fast!

This is as close to the "real deal" authentic NY style pizza as you can get. The dough, sweet and chewy. The toppings tasted fresh and I could distinguish it in almost every bite. The only discrepancy I have with this pizza is the sauce; it's not what makes a pizza, but is a critical factor that adds to the symphony of taste and mouthfeel of the pie. It lacks in depth... Something that I can't quite put me finger on. Maybe some more salt? Maybe a little more sauce in general? This pizza is by far one of the best pizzas in town, but when a pizza joint claims to be the "authentic NY pizza" like it does, it should deliver that, (no pun intended). The cheese (which I asked extra for) was minimal. My only guess was what a regular pizza would have been without the extra request.. As far as this pizza goes, it would have been a solid 5 stars in my book if they haven't put the "Authentic NY Pizza" label on it. If you're looking for a great, great thin crust pizza with the perfect dough bite that you can eat and not throw away, this is the place. I would personally ask for extra sauce and extra cheese. Might be a little pricier, but absolutely worth it. Bon appetite! read more

Omg first time having them and I got the Manhattan calzone and it was phenomenal! Delivered on time( actually earlier than what was estimated) and hot. I'm definitely gonna recommend them to everyone read more

I really enjoy a nice slice...and this pizza spot is right up the road. Ideal for the post-Turkey day dinner.... This NY style pizza features fold-in-half slices that have a corn meal crunchy bottom made perfectly crisp. The sauce plays a minor role...not at all spicy with almost a marinara consistency, but not full of large tomato bits (a deal breaker for the huz and the kids). The cheese is always spread to perfection and melted to ooey-gooey, stretchy yumminess. Never burnt. We usually go with a large, half sausage & mushroom, half cheese. Feeds our family of five (with a four year old "snacker") with a couple slices to spare if I throw together a bagged salad on the side. We have never eaten there...and I've never seen anyone sitting in the dozen or so seats at the tables. Seems clean. I HAVE grabbed a slice here from time to time...good for a quick solo bite on the run. Never had the calzoni or salads but they look good. Also never tried the subs... Pizza delivery. Pizza pick up...this place is my preferred stop for pizza near home. read more

Food and Service and staff are amazing Anyone complaining about this awesome place needs to move out of Warwick!

Great pizza! I prefer a thicker crust or else I would have given 5 stars. Despite this, the crust, sauce and toppings were yummy. There were a lot of specialty options for pizza, although we got somethings simple (mainly because my husband thinks that only red sauce should go on pizza). The staff was super friendly and played along with my husband seeing the label of their "grape soda" as "rape soda" (the G was hidden) and the employee said, "I assure you, sir, that is not rape soda." A class-act, great service and delicious pizza! read more

Pier Pizza - Broccoli, mushroom, and chicken pizza. - Pizza Near Me - Warwick, Rhode Island

Come here for the good affordable pizza, not for the decor. They have a bit of the local run down town pizza joint vibe going on here. With that said, pizza is solid and prices are affordable. They do have slices as well. Two cheese slices and one of their bottled sodas for $6 is pretty good. read more

Rude as F!!! Wow! Not sure how the food is but don't really care at this point when the person who answers the phone is a complete jerk.

One of the best pizza places in Rhode Island. Closest you'll get to New York style pizza and I've had a lot of pizza in NY/NJ.

Long and Far the best pizza in the area. You can't go wrong here. I recommend ordering the pizza and not just getting a slice to get the full effect of fresh delicious hot pizza. I love this place.... Seriously I really love this place. It's the bees knees and the cats meow of pizza that you don't have to drive to Providence for. read more

Decent pizza, cheap and fast. 2 slices, 2 drinks and a salad for ten bucks. Place is kind of a dump, with a few lonely tables and scarred chairs crowded into the front. Not especially clean -- none of the tables had been wiped down recently. Dude behind the counter had "Land of the Lost" blaring on SyFy so loudly I thought my head would explode. Note to self: take-out or delivery ONLY. read more

I got two calzones and they were fantastic, absolutely the best in the area. I have not had anything else off the menu yet. Prices were amazing and the COVID protocols they were following looked great. I will be ordering from here again. read more

O'bosie forever. Great pizza with a huge menu and fair price point. Great for take out and you can also buy by the slice.

I was in Providence for business and staying in a hotel near the airport. The desk clerk recommended this place and I'm glad they did. I got the Pier Special. It was a great reminder of how good pizza can be! Delivery was ridiculous fast, 10/10 would order again. read more

Great pizza, and love that you can get a slice any time of day. $2 for a GREAT slice of pie cant be beat.

Great thin crust slices. No "artisanal" pizzas here just basic pies with basic toppings. Place is not the nicest cosmetically but it is the pizza you come for. Close to TF Green. Right next door to Dominos. read more

I tried the pizza for the first time, not my favorite . Excessive flour was left on the crust making the crust tough and the toppings were very sparse and uneven in distribution read more

Honestly, a few years back, my cousin told me to order the buffalo chicken calzone, at first I was hesitant but it is expertly crafted. If you are a buffalo chicken fan, the buffalo chicken calzone is a must order. The mix of cheeses, the taste, and the heat radiating off of it gives it an addicting bite. Since the buffalo chicken calzone was the first thing I have ever tried from this place, I have never moved on to ordering pizza. If you are hungry on a Sunday night or want to watch the game in a lazy manner, Order a buffalo chicken calzone and cheesy bread and you will not be disappointed. They have stayed consistent with their creations for the length of my ordering from there. The calzone alone will fill up most men, at around 10 -12 bucks (including tip) you can't go wrong. The only reason I am giving it a 5 star is because of its shear consistency over the years and its ability to subsequently satisfy me. Prepare to get messy. read more

My absolute go-to. Nothing beats their calzones and pizza! The serving size is huge and the food never disappoints. I always get a spinach calzone or any kind of pizza. read more

Omg the best pizza ever!!! Extra cheese pepperoni on top... To die for!!!! Worth the money. I have 2 favorite pizza places and this is one of them. read more

I've always loved this place. Always had great pizza, but last night was a disappointment to say the least. I ordered as normal, this time a double cheeseburger pizza. Picked it up, went home and when we went to eat it, it was burnt. Crust was hard as a rock, and so was the meat. You couldn't even taste the cheese or the sauce. We tried to eat it but couldn't. I ended up ordering a cheese pizza from a local much closer place. With so many pizza places around, I will never order from Pier pizza place again read more

I literally drive from Pawtucket to Warwick just for a $7 calzone. That is how good this place is. Do yourself a favor and try the Saratoga calzone- it's hand's down the best calzone I've had in my life. When I'm at my friend's place in Warwick and we get delivery, they're quick and courteous. So good! read more

Best pizza and calzone in the eighborhood delivery range. Great service as well.

My new favorite pizza place. Been coming here for a couple of months now and the pizza is solid. Service is good - they never get our order wrong and the kids at the front are always polite and friendly. It is definitely NY style pizza. My dad is from NY and loves this pizza almost as much as me! The veggie delight is so so so good - highly recommend. Large slices that you fold in half and the end of the slice still bends because there are so many toppings on it...do you need to know more? Ok fine - Get a large cheese cooked well done and you'll think you're in NYC. The only thing I'd recommend is giving the place a facelift...although when the pizza is that good, who cares what the chairs/tables look like. Ignore the dominos next door - seriously - that stuff is crap compared to Pier Pizza. read more

The best pizza in Warwick. I order from Pier Pizza once a week and it's my favorite pizza place.
