Back at it tonight (after work) pursuing a couple more #LordofthePies candidates during the RIFoodfights promotion. Don't often get over to West Warwick much and Aloha is smack dab in the middle of it. Tom the bartender, and counter dude - very helpful. Slice didn't take too long to come up and I got it to go as I still intended on hitting one more stop on my way home. HUGE slice and very cheesy. We pre-ordered at 1030 am for a 430pm pick up time. I had to wait an additional 15 minutes for my PRE-ORDERED pizza. Get home and my 4 topping pizza looks like it barely has topping. Sausage is the only prepredominant topping barely any onions or mushrooms. And hahalf the pizza was supposed to have kielbasa. 5-6 pieces. That was it and they were burnt. The other was a pepperoni pizza. Was just ok with the topping but not the amount most places give. The only reason for 2 stars instead of 1 was the pizza tasted okay. Not the best pizza in town. But definitely not the worst. Won't be ordering again. Value is not there to make up for the shortcomings. read more

No Bad Well this is a strange place but not bad. The pic suggest this is restaurant but really this is a take out restaurant with a small bar. My suggestion is to go with take out because the bar attendant seems overwhelmed with three bar customers which tells you that they aren't used to patrons sitting down and eating in the establishment. Pretty empty on sunday afternoon. Only one other person in the joint + he was WASTED FACE at the bar. Giant pull down screen for games. Small place--seats about 35. Nice happy hour specials. We ordered hibiscus salad + it was tasty + a good size but a little over priced at $9! Wanted their chicken noodle soup but they were out. WHAMP WHAMP. The quality of the food is good. Their pizza is super good! It really impressed me. The prices are decent for what you get. Super close by to my house. My only complaint is out of all the times I've ordered, half the time they always missed something or messed up something. I asked for bacon cheese fries with nacho cheese and they gave me their specialty fries which included a ridiculous amount of BBQ sauce. A few times I've asked for ONLY cheese fries with bacon and nacho cheese and they messed up a couple times. Today, i ordered a classic burger with everything except onion and it came plain . My stepson got a basic pizza with pepperoni and olives from here the other night. It was my first time eating pizza from Aloha, and I was not impressed at all. The pizza was very greasy, the crust was unremarkable and the flavor was bland. Overall, it was very unsatisfying. Worst part is, I had bad gas that night and into the next morning. Came in with a friend of mine and there was available seating, the staff was friendly and everything was clean, I ordered a Hawaiian burger that was perfectly cooked and the French fries were nice and crunchy, my friend had a Pastrami and cheese sub and she said that it was the right amount of meat and the best sub she's had since being in RI.My friend wants to comeback and we definitely will be. This place is great!! I wish I could give the 4 1/2 star cause it's almost perfect. Our family is working our way through the menu and we haven't found a bad dish yet. There have been a few mix ups in delivery so there's room to get better there. But omg, the fish is so good and I haven't found many places that hand batters the fish like they do. It isn't too heavy and it's not over greasy and the fish is cooked spot on. We moved to the area lately and Aloha was the closest pizza place. My father lived over here years ago and Aloha was around back then... After HOURS of moving and unpacking, with out even thinking twice about it we just ordered a few pizzas for the gang. They have a variety of shapes and sizes and are all reasonably priced. The pizza is average and fair priced. They have a full menu, but I suggest sticking to pizza and grinders knowing that they are both good. You can eat in, carry out, or delivery. The service is absolutely terrible. The girl that answered the phone was very rude. This will be a short review because I am truly angry right now. I asked if I could put a tip on the credit card order (for delivery) over the phone so that my elderly father would not mistakenly stiff their delivery driver. A simple "no I'm sorry our system doesn't work that way" would have been just fine. NOPE I got full blown attitude. For the record i ordered one larger cheese pizza, had the address and my card number ready to go. Okay I have to say that Aloha Pizza is a great local spot for pizza. It's a small shop off Washington St here in west warwick, at first I was unsure of it due to area it's kinda in. I heard good things about the pizza and subs so instead of our usual domino's pizza we tried it out. I ordered the buffalo chic pizza and taco pizza and being on a Friday when I ordered I knew it would take long so I was prepared. The girl on the phone was nice and told me it would be 25 to 30 min.
