Very meh. I won't go as far to say that its bad pizza, but there is absolutely nothing about it that would ever make consider going back. People and prices are decent, but that doesn't make up for the quality, which is lacking. read more

Pizza Plus used to be pretty good! Great crust, lots of good sauce and toppings. Last few years not so much. We moved on to a new place. But they are not open Sundays. So we gave Pizza Plus a try tonight. We ordered a large special. It was ready when we got there to pick it up. But it wasn't hot when we got home! The bottom was not crunchy. The crust wasn't crunchy either. The toppings looked like a four year old topped the pizza. Some pieces had tons of toppings and other pieces nothing. The pizza needed more sauce. The sauce needed more flavor. WHY wasn't it hot? The spinach pie was pathetic! It wasn't hot at all. There was hardly any spinach, cheese, pepperoni or the olives I asked for. So disappointing! I ordered the small Greek pizza and added pepperoni on half....... and I also ordered Buffalo chicken wings with blue cheese..... the pizza tasted really good and the wings yummy.... I ordered through Yelp online and it was pretty easy..... The only thing I would of liked is update when the food was completed.... One of many Warwick, Rhode Island must be the pizza capital of the universe. It seems every street corner has either a donut shop or pizza joint on it. Most of the pizza places are small, local shops that serve the neighborhoods. Pizza Plus is another such place. Located in the Buttonwoods section of Warwick, probably not a lot of people go by it and I suspect it stays in open by repeat business by local folks. You won't find anything exotic here, just pizza and the expected pasta dishes. The restaurant is clean but rather spartan. Just some tables and chairs that look like they came from a local tag sale and some plain walls. I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of the business is take out. The menu is small but the food is consistent and exactly what you would expect. Nothing that is going to wow but it definitely will satisfy a craving for pizza or pasta and judging from the number of places just like this, lots of people in the area have such cravings quite frequently. The service is friendly and quick but extremely casual. Not a place to impress guests or in laws but a nice, little pizza joint that still gives good food at a good price. Grabbed pickup here tonight. Large one topping and a Greek salad was PLENTY for two to share. The pizza was delicious... Generous cheese and mushroom, not too much sauce and the crust was perfectly... Well... Crusty. It's a thicker crust pizza and the large was a square which made for huge corner slices. I typically shy away from the corners but I liked the crust so much I enjoyed two corners. The Greek salad was good. Nothing bad, nothing spectacular. Plenty of feta, olives and all the other usual suspects... Although I was surprised by the guest appearance of three sliced dill pickles. But I LOVE pickles so great addition pizza plus! Decor? Meh. Circa 1980's but I don't care if my local pizza pickup place is tricked out in super mod furniture. Prices are reasonable...$12 for a large square pizza. We will be back to try the grinders. First time here, stopped by while in the area. As far as pizza places go, this is one of the better places we have visited. Got the Italian grinder which was lightly toasted and delicious. Kids got pizza and chicken parm grinder and all four of them said the food was great. Would stop by again if in the area. read more

This is your typical local pizza parlor. It hasn't been remodeled since at least the early 1980s, so it gives the appearance of being a dive. However, the food is of good quality. I had a chicken cutlet sandwich on a sub roll. The chicken was hot. The roll was fresh and soft. Their French fries are also good. The buffalo wings were spicier than I thought they were going to be. Don't go out of your way to come here, but if you come down to City Park and want some reliably good food, Pizza Plus is a good choice. read more

In a sea of local pizzerias, Pizza Plus is one of the best. Granted, I have only had their pizza - but it has been consistently delicious every time. The crust is cooked evenly with nice crispy edges, the sauce isn't too sweet and they certainly don't skimp on the toppings. Being able to get a beer while you wait is an added bonus! I agree with some of the other posts. Really solid food. I think the pizza is really good for the area. Someone else posted it hasn't been remodeled since the 80's. They'd probably be right. It always seems empty. When I eat there it seems most folks just pick up. I've eaten there a lot over 10 years and don't remember ever being disappointed. read more

I ate their pizza at a b day party and it was flat out delicious. It was a pepperoni pizza and it was to die for. Their crust was a perfect chew and the sauce was spicy the way I like it. Hopefully the next time I eat their pizza it will be of the same quality. read more
