Should Crumbl get five stars? It is really a close call for me. Yes, their cookies are moist, soft, long-lasting (well, I guess that is a relative term, because they don't seem to last long around me), and a sure comfort food for a long day, hard work situation, finals, or just the way to put the cherry on top. Their standard flavors of sugar cookie and milk chocolate chip are great, but my favorites are not the dailies. My hands-down favorite is the peanut butter. The cookie has a crispy outer layer with the thinnest coating of sugar and an inner filling of peanut butter. This was a favorite that my mother made that I had never had anywhere else and along came Crumbl to legitimately challenge my childhood love. Our family has taste tested every flavor of Crumbl Cream and they are legit. Just the right size to satisfy your cravings yet no so much that you feel guilty nor have to add another couple of miles to your run. And can I give a shout out to their new mobile app?! They now have custom ordering so you can have any cookies you want in your mobile app order! This is HUGE! Now, Crumbl has an almost fatal flaw. I am sorry, but I always have to be honest, and I never fail to mention this when going into a store or in a social media DM. More like 3.5 stars for me. Got their party box. Told them to do it randomly. It was alright. Their chocolate chip cookie is the best. Also, it was my first time and I underestimated how thick their cookies are. Really really thick! Honestly I can eat like 1/4 of 1 cookie and that'll be enough for me. Always love the cookies and the friendly, smiling staff. However, you let me down this time! Isn't the point of curb side pickup, your app saying you'll bring it right out, and you asking about what my car looks like, to bring it to my car when I've indicated I'm there? It would have been nice to know that you don't do that so I could have saved 15 minutes of waiting in the parking lot. I mean, there was 3 employees just standing around when I finally walked in. If I could give it, zero stars, I would. I placed an order in the app and I waited outside the restaurant in my car for 20 minutes. After noticing that no one was going in or out I just decided to walk inside. Not a single person was in there when I walked in. There were three workers just minding their own business. Crumbl takes baking cookies to the next level. This new age/millenial cookie shop makes delicious (huge) gourmet cookies. Crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside, they're so dense and buttery you'll probably only be able to eat one. I highly recommend the classic chocolate chip, or the Nutella sea salt. Unlike most baked goods, these cookies are still delicious the next day! My experience was amazing at the Crumbl in Provo, UT. We waited for about 10 minutes for our freshly baked party box (One Dozen, of which you can ask for a variety of different flavors), so while we waited one of the employees offered us some fresh samples! The line was pretty long, but it was Valentine's day so that was sort of expected. It went by quickly, though. Unfortunately, the note looked like it had been written by a third grader, and was written very fast because the message I submitted was different than the one written. The vibe of the note came across like I didn't really care about my friends because it looked rushed and unprofessional. I've ordered the same delivery service from multiple other cookie companies, including Chip and Goodly, and never had this problem. I absolutely love cookies and I am always down to try cookie places. Crumbl cookies are amazing. I love the fact that they have multiple flavors and they are constantly rotating them. The cookies are very fresh and you can see them baking them right there. Usually the frosting is put on your cookie right in front of you after you order. The Pumpkin Caramel cookie is incredible and different from other cookies I have tried. The Buddy Muddy cookie, on the other hand, wasn't the best. The peanut flavor is very strong and takes over all the other flavors. I would go a little lighter on the peanuts for that one. The traditional chocolate chip cookie is also very good, however, they couldn't beat their competitor, Chip cookies on that one. They CCC wasn't as soft and tasty but still good. Bottom line, if you are looking for a variety of flavors or ice cream included in your order, go for Crumbl; if you are just looking to enjoy a traditional chocolate chip cookie, go for Chip.
