I really wanted to love my cookies at Crave, and I visited twice over the last couple of months to give them a try. They're good cookies, but not the best. Both times I visited, the store was absolutely empty. They change their cookie menu weekly, and this week's menu was very appealing. One thing I noted is that every one of their cookies with the exception of the classic chocolate chip was stuffed with some sort of mass-produced sweet. Peanut butter cookies were stuffed with Reeses style cups, the Chocolate cookie was stuffed with what tasted like storebought cheesecake, the Samoa cookie was literally topped with a Girl Scout Cookie, and the Scotcheroo was filled with a Rice Krispie Treat. This made all of the cookies taste far from homemade. They were SO sweet that I barely could eat a few bites. I love sweets, but the fake flavors were just gross. The worst cookie of the bunch was a Strawberry cookie. It had a sour tasting strawberry cream topping that was day-glo pink! Extremely unappetizing. It was topped with a thick whipped cream that made the entire thing soggy and unappealing. I have never thrown out a cookie before, but it was really, really gross. Into the garbage it went. The best cookie was the traditional chocolate chip, and I would've loved the Oreo cookie if it hadn't had the yucky, gummy cheesecake inside. The cookies were slightly underdone and reminded me so much of Gideon's Bakehouse in Orlando, that same sort of yummy, sugary, raw dough texture. I gave Crave two chances and I was less than impressed on both of my visits. The employees were so nice and friendly, but they selected my cookies out of a warming tray. I didn't smell any fresh baked cookies and no baking was going on, just already made cookies sitting there getting dried out. They were served to me warm, however. There are much better cookies out there, and I just prefer all-natural ingredients or at least freshly baked cookies.

It's not that it's a bad thing it's just....not unique. I'd love to see one of these places do something different. If you're unfamiliar, you can buy individual cookies or multiple-but they are giant and you'll be lucky to finish just one. They are served warm and pair nicely with milk or you can get a sugary soda drink. The service here was terrific. Since then we've mostly eaten Crumbl since it's so close to our house. Looks like Chip added more flavors since then, but their most intriguing flavors have a $1 premium. Also, I'm not sure if it was just this most recent visit but feels like the cookies are undercooked like Dirty Dough. Not a fan of that. Hopefully it was just a one off. Saw a few other reviews from the last few months and 2 others complained of it being undercooked with 1 stating it was overcooked. Wondering if it's just inconsistent baking?

I also strategically picked the day they were doing a promotion so I got the 2/22/22 promotion for the little bundt cakes. Which was extra special because I was not able to decide on one, two or even three bundt cakes that looked good. I was only able to narrow it down to four lol. I chose the Snickerdoodle, Red Velvet, Raspberry White Chocolate, and. Chocolate chip. Honestly, my all time favorite in the bunch is definitely the raspberry white chocolate--it was to die for! Literally had me falling over in my seat. Fun fact about that flavor, that is also my coffee order. I really think they need to name that flavor after me in the same way cherry and sprite is a Shirley temple and minty stuff is grasshopper. The rest of the flavors were amazing too; I just have a favorite for sure. Also, I didn't think the prices were that bad. Because of the promotion, I got 4 bundt cakes for under $15. I am still munching on them almost a week later and I don't regret anything! Will definitely be back soon for a truckload of the raspberry white chocolate! That is definitely my new favorite flavor!

One of my favorites flavors is Confetti. This time around, I picked up their special flavor - Biscoff butter cake. Though it was not as good as my all time favorite, confetti, it was still yummy. The cake is always so soft and moist. Now, here comes the slightly controversial part of their cakes - the frosting. A lot of people say the frosting is waaaayyy too sweet. I can see what they mean; it is indeed sweet. However, I wouldn't say it's too sweet. It complements the cake very well. Oh, a bonus is sometimes their stores have little cake bite samples - don't forget to grab a bite! My favorite size of their cakes is bundlet - perfect for on the go. Each store is decorated so cute too. Always a good homey vibe right when I step in. I'll always be returning!

They have soft dough based cones (almost like a horn shape) that are fresh baked and rolled in cinnamon. They have limited time special selections of tlother flavors too (like golden Oreo - I was so tempted on that but wanted to try th OG). The you select a different soft serve flavor, vanilla, chocolate, swirl or a lilited time flavor. Honestly they could have 2 or 3 more options of soft serve - 3 isn't a lot. Then you select a swirl in the cone like Nutella, cookie butter or peanut butter and 1-4 toppings and a drizzle. They carefully fill your cone with the swirl and a little topping on the bottom, fill half the cone with soft serve and top it, then do the top and add toppings and drizzle it. The soft serve was good but unremarkable. The topping were good but again, just average froyo stuff . I though it was good, but then I got to the cone! That's the star of the show. The cone was delicious. I wish it was bigger and maybe even less ice cream. It's worth trying, it's fun and different. They had fruit filled cones and seems like they change things up frequently. The location is clean, large and sleek feeling. Definitely a good spot for a fun outing.

You can customize your cone with spreads, soft serve ice cream, and a variety of toppings and drizzles. I got the special cone with Reese's Puffs coating. To be honest, I couldn't tell much difference between that and the regular cinnamon sugar coating. It was also a lot more messy eating that--there were crumbs all over the table and on my pants (be careful if you're wearing nice clothing!). It was yummy though! The cone was warm, soft, and slightly crispy on the outside since they make them fresh. It did make my ice cream melt very fast though. As for the ice cream, I didn't find it anything extraordinary. I think they focus more on the cone than the ice cream, but I think they should invest a little more in the ice cream and make it creamier. It's definitely a unique dessert experience. The shop was clean and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. Prices are a bit on the higher side--around $8 for a cone with ice cream and toppings. It's quite pricey for what you get, but the novelty and quality make it worth trying at least once. I'm not sure if I'd return though.
