We placed an order for four cookies (which were specified on the receipt I received by text). When we opened the box, three of the four cookies inside were *not* what we had ordered. We contacted the store and spoke with an employee who said that the box with our name on it was still sitting on the counter and that the delivery person must have picked up the wrong box. She said that we could have the box of cookies we actually ordered IF we came and picked it up. I said that we ordered the cookies to be *delivered* for a reason. I asked for a refund and was told by the employee that she would talk with her manager and see if a refund was *possible*, but that since the cookies were apparently delivered by an Uber driver, we should really be dealing with Uber. Seriously? The moral of the story is that we paid over $26.00 plus a tip to the driver and ended up with someone else's order and a runaround regarding a refund. read more

Love chip cookies! Honestly in my opinion it tastes better than crumbl but the quality of the cookies sometimes defer from what is advertised. Coming back for an update. A much better experience this weekend, I choose to drive to the store instead of getting a box delivered and luckily went during a time that it wasn't incredibly busy. The storefront is darling, open, and attracts us millennials like flies to honey. It was fun to see the employees hand rolling the dough and cooking in the back, the employees were INCREDIBLY kind. That always goes a long way for me. Very smiley and helpful, I always appreciate good service and these guys were great. We choose two milk chocolate cookies and two red velvet cookies (Valentine's Day pump up) with some cream cheese frosting. Like I mentioned before, the milk chocolate chip cookies don't really do it for me--semi sweet is wayyy delicious. Unfortunately they didn't have those available, but luckily the red velvet and frosting had a chance to take their place and boy oh boy did they rock it. Parking is a beast. But literally finding parking ANYWHERE in Utah is a joke, and because these guys really attract customers because of their cookie delivery service, the non-existent parking isn't too big of a deal. All in all, a much better experience and I'll definitely give them another shot when it comes to the delivery. But if you're already out and about, I'd honestly just pick it up your yourself, spend just $10 (instead of $16-tip and delivery), and get them fast. Keep it up, Chip! And bring back the semi-sweet! ;) TIPS & TRICKS: * I keep meaning to ask about getting some milk. I never have any in my fridge and always wish for a gulp to help wash down the gooey chocolate. After hearing about Chip Cookies from the owner of Oh Mai in Orem, we swung by and bought two boxes. Delicious! I personally wouldn't mind if they were cooked just a minute or two more, but everyone else that tried it said they were just perfect. We also asked about the use of nuts in their kitchen (since we have a peanut/nut allergy kid in our fam) and we're happy to hear that they only make chocolate chip cookies, so no need to worry about nuts. If I could I would give them a 3.5. But I decided to round up. I've held out for so long because I am a devout levian fan...but in my opinion you can't even compare the two cookies. Mhmm, yep, these cookies are yummy! Chip Cookies makes a really solid, delicious chocolate chip cookie. I usually don't like the simple cookies and want something unique that I cannot easily make at home. Chip breaks that rule for me. These are quite massive and if you're a chocolate chip fan, you should try these at least once. They also offer their OG chip in mini sizes as well. Chip also makes unique flavors for the cookie of the month. In July, they had a lemon chip which... oh my goodness, was the best kind of lemon cookie I have ever had. Beat Crumbl's version way out of the water. I tried Chip's s'mores cookies as well, and that was also pretty good. UPDATE: These cookies are not what they used to be :( I was so loyal to Chip and always stood up for them as the best cookies in the world. I don't know what happened to them, but they don't taste as good anymore and I keep giving them chances (hoping I just had a bad batch). Best cookies I've ever had in my life. Massive chocolate chip cookie that is firm on the outside and soft on the inside. You can only by the cookies in a box of 4. So plan to eat a ton of cookies or have amazing leftovers. They do a cookie of the month which is always fun to try but honestly I've never thought they were better than the original chocolate chip. However, you can get half and half which means half the original chocolate chip and half their cookie of the month. Are you KIDDING ME? When we arrived (mind you, at 7:40pm), they told us they were out of every cookie. I'm sorry, how? Some guy who cut in front of us ordered the last 2 cookies. Personally, I'm a semi sweet fan. I believe it is a good balance of flavor, especially here, where these cookies are very dense, very large and the semi sweet helps to balance that out. Service: we were promptly greeted. they took our order and within moments we had a box of four chocolate chip cookies. Nothing special, but nothing bad either, just prompt friendly service. That's all I'm really looking for anyhow. Atmosphere: this is an old building that has been renovated for this unique cookie operation. It is all open you can see where they bake the cookies, where they mix the cookies, and where they form the cookie dough balls. I was pleased with what I saw. It appears clean, and the workers appear to be wearing appropriate gloves, etc. there is no where to sit, it's a grab your order and go kind of operation. It is worth noting that they offer a delivery service. I have not tried the service but I'm intrigued by it. Those late night cookie cravings might have met their match.
