Love the almond flavor that I taste in the sugar cookie!). Four stars because these cookies are very pricey and more so because the workers in this location aren't always the best. When I have asked what's in a cookie, multiple workers haven't known. And I was not asking complicated ingredient questions about flour or sugar. I was asking what the difference was between the regular chocolate chip and the other variation of some kind of peanut butter chocolate chip cookie with a unique, non-descriptive name that was also available that week. They kept asking additional workers and three didn't know. I shouldn't have to pull up the Crumbl Instagram account and search for the weekly menu post to read about each cookie, but that's what I did. While reading a fourth worker finally gave me an answer and she was wrong based on what I finally found on their Instagram page. They really only need to know about 5-6 cookies each week and two remain consistent. But still, the cookies are delicious!! I love the lemon flavored cookies a lot! read more

I really enjoyed the cosmic brownie inspired one as well, but there were very few candies on it. I think I am an anomaly here, but I think Crumbl is highly overrated. While Crumbl does have a wide variety of flavors, I think most of them miss the mark when it comes to actually being flavorful. There are of course exceptions to the rule (I like their double chocolate) but I have never been wowed but their cookies. I was really excited to try the moon cake cookie, thinking it was stuffed in the middle with red bean paste like a moon cake. I was disappointed when it wasn't and also had mediocre flavor. We ordered a 4-pack today to surprise my teenager for Valentine's Day. Crumbl is a favorite in our household, and it's always great when it can get it delivered right to our front door! The descriptions of each cookie were helpful and ordering on the app made everything simple so that check out was quick. Delivery time was around 30 min, which is great timing for the distance we live. Considering Crumbl is a chain and they receive hundreds of customers a day, I was very suprised by the customer service and speed at which they move. I usually go mid monday or tuesday which I find to be the least busiest time of the day, around 12 or 1, and Ive never waited more than 5 minutes. I was wondering why the lines were long and out through the doors. And my friends at work are raving about this place. Okay.... Now I can see why. My Mr mentioned coming here so while we were waiting for our online order at Mcalisters, we dropped by. It was busy! When you open the doors, you can smell the aroma of the freshly baked cookies. They make these cookies on site. They have a different menu weekly. At first I thought the pricing was ridiculous but I can see why. These cookies are on steroids (huge) and so good! I've been to Crumbl four times since they opened two weeks ago. Their menu changes every week, which is super fun and keeps you coming back. First, the line is always very long. Don't be surprised if there's a 20-30 minute wait. That's not why I'm only giving 3 stars, though. I don't mind waiting for good cookies! The reason I'm only giving 3 stars is because I've genuinely only been impressed by a two of the 12 cookies I've tried. The two were confetti cake and fruit pizza. Everything else has underwhelmed me. While their menu changes every week, they have two staples: milk chocolate chip and chilled sugar. I'm not a fan of milk chocolate chip cookies--they're too sweet. If the chips were semi-sweet, this cookie would be great. The chilled sugar has A TON of almond extract. It's incredibly overwhelming, and I thought it was a mistake at first. We got this cookie again tonight, and it was the same. This cookie would be good if they cut back on the almond extract. I won't go through the other 8 cookies I've tried, but again, I've been underwhelmed. They're mostly just lacking flavor, but some just don't taste good. I think what keeps people coming back is 1) the fact that the cookies are warm, and 2) the menu changes each week. I can confidently say I've never had a bad cookie from Crumbl. I think my favorite part is that they having flavors changing every week. This is great not only for meeting a wide variety of tastes, but also for keeping interest alive. I love seeing which new flavors will come up. I wanted to love these so badly. The hype was there. Cousins raving about them all the way in California. Reviews and photos on social media were telling me it was a must. I was convinced I had to try them! I finally came when the line wasn't out the door (Aka back when they first opened) and I was bummed that the selection was so small. Stuck with the frosted sugar and the milk chocolate chip since I wasn't into cinammon or white chocolate with fruit. I placed a curbside pickup and it was ready within minutes of my arrival and the cookies were still warm. The service is flawless. The cookie, however, was ridiculously too sweet and felt undercooked. I understand gooey but this was uncooked middle. The edges were crispy and I understand that you need to take them out a little early from the oven to keep the middle soft and chewy with gooey touch. BUT this cookie needed an extra minute or two. I left me not wanting more. Not a pleasant thought after a cookie. This was both the milk chocolate chip and the sugar. We managed to get through almost half a chocolate chip but the sugar frosted was impossible to eat due to how sweet it was. If diabetes was a cookie, the sugar frosted would be it. The size of the cookie justifies the $4 price tag. Felt expensive at first when browsing the Crumbl app but it's definitely a shareable size when seen in person (multiple servings/cookie) so the value is there. I just wish it tasted better or was slightly less sweet. read more

So I love the idea of Crumbl, but every cookie I've tried has been underwhelming. What's fun is that they change their flavors each week, which makes you want to keep coming back. I gave them a follow on Instagram and every time I saw them post, I kept thinking "omg I need to try that flavor it sounds good". But after four times of trying their cookies, I realized their flavors sound good, they do an excellent job of marketing but how they make their cookies taste is not for me. Each week they will sell their chilled sugar and chocolate chip cookies along with 4 other new and different flavors. I have tried their chocolate chip cookie and though I appreciated that they served it warm, the batter of the cookie paired with milk chocolate chips lacked complexity and was overly sweet. The other cookies I've tried were strawberry short cake, coconut chocolate caramel, death by chocolate, peanut butter and chocolate, chocolate cupcakes, their Oreo sandwich and a couple others. The frosting on 75% of the cookies taste store bought and loaded with confectionary sugar. Also, If you don't eat the cookies when they are warm, they literally will cool down and have a really hard undesirable texture. The only cookie I'd return for is death by chocolate. The batter had a richer semi-sweet to dark chocolate taste and the chocolate chips used were semi-sweet. Based on my experience so far, I don't plan on going back unless I am really in the mood for the death by chocolate cookie. If you do plan to check them out their prices are a bit high and you will likely need to wait at least 20-30 minutes in line. Honestly, there are other bakeries in the Cincinnati area that are local, taste better, are made with higher quality ingredients and are cheaper. read more

Worth the hype. I went in the morning around 1030 and there were a few people in line but no long wait. This week's flavors were shark (sugar), macadamia nut, Hawaii rainbow cake, hazelnut sea salt, pineapple whip and chocolate chip. My personal favorite was pineapple whip. The cookies are huge so I cut them with a pizza slicer and shared them amongst 11 family members my sister loved the rainbow cake and my nephew enjoyed the Nutella in the hazelnut cookie (i did too). I have literally been stalking this place to open. I downloaded the app set a reminder in my phone and waited patiently until yesterday. I love that you have the option to take out, do curbside pick up, or have the cookies delivered. I chose to do curbside pick up in their earliest available time slot and there were still 10 people in front of me, so clearly I wasn't the only one stalking the opening. This place was worth the wait! Service was fast and friendly and they delivered the cookies right to my car which is both a gift and a curse. My favorite was the Rocky Road and the chilled sugar. I am a huge fan of a frosted sugar cookie and this one does not disappoint. The icing is sugary sweet but not overpowering. The only better one in the city is Jeni's (IMO). The Kentucky butter is also very tasty. Surprisingly, I was most disappointed in the chocolate chip. I really expected greatness because it is a beautiful cookie, however, I did not like the taste of the milk chocolate chips that were used. I hope they offer a version of this cookie without the chips one day because it is actually a delicious batter, but just not a fan of the chips. When we heard that CRUMBL was coming to the Queen City, we were elated. We previously had them in Nashville and although there were different flavors, they were all of the perfection that we expected. Today, my favorite was the Kentucky Brown Butter cake.. I know their cookies are rotating, but my waistline hopes that this will not make the rotation very often because it was irresistible!! The only snafu is that this location charges sales tax and I'm not sure that's in alignment with Ohio's tax code. Hopefully they'll investigate and remove it if tax is not warranted. read more
