Verizon corporate lies to keep customers in long term contracts and has some of the worst customer…read moreservice I've experienced. After being with them for over 25 years, I switched to consumer cellular, pay under $50 a month and have better connections all over the state, including around the country. Don't get suckered by Verizon they tell their customer service reps in the store, to push upgrades and keep them paying through the nose for bad service and Keep the contracts going forever. They should have a zero star rating than one star? They don't even deserve one star.

From my first visit to a Verizon wireless store to transfer my family's phone lines from T Mobile to the new carrier things were wrong. I was told my mother could get her number activated remotely only to find out they disconnected her T Mobile line without starting the Verizon one, and were shipping me a SIM card instead. This was a problem because until her retirement, she worked as an educator in a high-crime area of Glendale. The same thing happened to my fiancée; who thankfully worked from home and was largely unaffected by this snafu. When I went into the corporate Verizon store I was once again lied to by an agent named Jonathan, who told me he would be able to activate the lines over the phone after the SIM cards arrived. I waited, and when the SIM cards arrived I called Jonathan only to learn that I would have to go into the store anyway. After taking time off work to get this done it was finally achieved, a week after it should have been resolved. Unfortunately, the promises Jonathan made to me regarding the discounts and waived activation fees for the lines were just as empty as the rest of the words I've received from Verizon agents. I had to pay an $800 bill just to get my family plan started. Six months later I made the mistake of calling my local Verizon Wireless store to attempt a surprise phone upgrade for my fiancée. The agents I spoke on the phone with, Renzo and Jah, both told me that my local store had the specific iPhone she wanted in stock and would be able to upgrade her phone today. I took time off work and we made a morning of it, but when we arrived at the store they not only did not have the iPhone in stock, it isn't in stock anywhere in the phoenix valley! I spoke with a corporate customer care representative and they confirmed that model is on a 10-day back order, and is not available in Phoenix. This company is inherently dishonest and I would not recommend them even as a last ditch option. If there is a better option for cell service in the city Maricopa please reach out to me. Verizon's best competitor has a family plan waiting for them. If you are on the fence about starting a plan with this company and have another option, I would think again.

She was so patient and funny, guiding my 83 year old friend through the process of upgrading her old iPhone. She walked her/up through it step, by step taking time to answer questions from all four of us! She also helped my friend lower her cable bill and schedule installation for new service. She was so helpful that my other friend decided to upgrade HER iPhone as well! We took up hours of her time, and she was super helpful throughout. This store opens late constantly, and even when the doors are unlocked, no one is ever at the front. You walk in and just stand there wondering if anyone even works there. No greeting, no acknowledgment, no customer service--nothing. It feels like customers are an inconvenience rather than the reason the business exists. Simple tasks like paying a phone bill or fixing a device turn into a drawn-out, confusing mess every single time. The staff either doesn't know what they're doing or simply doesn't care. There's zero consistency in pricing--I've been quoted different prices for the same service, which immediately raises red flags. It feels misleading at best. The biggest issue is their claim about "original parts." Do not believe it. Even when you specifically request and pay extra for original parts, the device never works the same afterward. Performance is worse, issues appear that weren't there before, and nothing feels factory-correct. Based on my repeated experiences, I strongly believe customers are not receiving the parts they're paying for. There is also no transparency about what's being installed, no proof of authenticity, and no accountability when problems happen after the repair. Once they have your money, you're basically on your own. The entire operation feels disorganized, careless, and unprofessional--from how the store is staffed, to how pricing is handled, to how repairs are done. I've visited multiple times hoping things would improve, and they never did. Every visit somehow managed to be worse than the last. If you value your phone, your money, or your time, avoid this place completely. There are plenty of legitimate wireless and repair shops in Phoenix that actually respect customers and stand behind their work. This is not one of them.

So I decide to come into All Cellular since my mom had a good experience some years ago. They initially told me $45 for the battery replacement. The guy says "wait 10-15 minutes," I happily say yes. About AN HOUR later the same guy comes out to tell me that he couldn't get the home button on my iPhone to work. That wasn't a problem before. "It'll be $20 because I need to replace the entire screen now" he says. "But that wasn't a problem before coming in here" I responded. Basically, I had to have my screen replaced to have a working phone. He said "I'll pay half". Whatever. Sure. About 30 minutes later it's done. He says they only take cash. Why wasn't this mentioned during the almost hour and a half I was just sitting there? I'm extremely upset at this point and ask where I can find a Chase ATM because I'm not spending more money than needed on this little deal. A girl with really long hair who works there says "go to the Walgreens right there they have a chase atm". So I go. Oh and I had to leave my phone, that's fine no big deal. Turns out that the Walgreens doesn't have a chase atm so I paid $3 more for this whole ordeal. I couldn't map a nearby chase atm because once again, I had to leave my phone at the store. I come back to the store and the guy says it's $65. I'm like what? I only got $60 because $45 + the $10 (remember he had said he'd pay fo half of the 20 for the screen WHICH WAS HIS MISTAKE to begin with FYI). So he says ok, and I thought I would get $5 back....but of course not! And I told the girl "by the way, Walgreens doesn't have a chase atm. I had to pay $3 extra for this" and she unapologetically just says "ok". Horrible horrible and I feel like they find ways to get more money out of you. I wasted my time and my money. If you're looking for cheaper places that actually are honest and do a good job, I recommend a phone repair shop inside the flea market called El Centro on indian School ad 43rd. They've done an awesome job on my phone and don't charge you for their mistakes (which don't happen anyways)
