This Verizon has got to be absolute hands-down the worst store in all of Arizona. It's bad enough. You have to wait on the phone but OK you gotta wait on the phone. It is what it is but to ask them to not send it to a certain address and you give them a pacific address to send it to and they send it to the wrong address anyway and then when you find out it went to the wrong address they can't change it. All they can do is cancel the order wait for them to receive it and then push you out another one, but they will try to expedite it so you can get it faster even though you should've already had it and that's what they do for the inconvenience needless to say, we are no longer with Verizon customer service they have none they are without a shadow of a doubt trash. I do not recommend this place to anybody so we are now proud owners of T-Mobile phones. read more

Speaking of I got screwed into that plan because I was told my old 14+ was going to get totally paid off by Verizon and I'd get the new 17 air for free. Everything looked right. Well I ended up getting a 600$ bill from Verizon and my service shut off for about a month because I was unable to pay that ridiculous bill. First guy I worked with sucked, name was Benito. I wanted to walk out with a new phone and made it clear I didn't want the 17 I just needed a good working phone same day. He basically hassled me into getting 17 and told me to come back Friday when they got their stock of them, what a horrible person. I just wanted to walk out with a new phone. Second guy I worked with was great. Check your people here they all make commission and 99% of the time they do not care about what you want. read more

Customer service is horrible! I've come to this Verizon for 15 years never had a problem. My name in the system has always been my husbands last name, (he passed away ) never had a problem buying phones, getting service whatever I came in I always was able to show my lics with my maiden name on top of all the passwords, bank accts attached, any email addresses that all belong to me. Never had an issue until last week, go in to buy a phone. We absolutely can't serve you until you can prove that that's your last name. You know it's hard enough to deal with a spouse that's passed away, but I had no proof. It's been five years of him passing and just now it is. Problem. Hire employee's that care! We recently stop by to replace a defective item as well as purchase additional items. After waiting in line for 15 mins, we were told we had to wait for an "expert"? Part of the issue was the "expert" didn't know the difference between a 20 watt charge and a 30 watt charger? Not only did she not know, she didn't care to know, or care about us. Here's where I lose my mind. We were using our Verizon account credit to purchased the items we wanted. Three weeks later we realized that the employee had left our account open, allowing the next customer or maybe someone at the store to spend $500 on Goggle Nest Hubs. So, so disappointing! Horrible service! The wait time is ridiculous! I just came in for a SIM card, the girl by front door told me there's 3 people ahead of me. I asked if she can text me when it's my turn as I step outside into next door store. She said if I step outside I lose my spot in line. I said the other location let's you leave and they text you when it's your turn and you have 5 mins to come in. She said this location doesn't do that because "it's a busy location." Well it's it's a busy location hire more people to work!!! She told me it's about 25 min wait and I have to wait inside the store. I waited 2 hours!! There was 3 people working with with additional 4 empty tables. Hire more staff!! 2 hour wait for just a SIM card and they wouldn't let me step outside the store. That's unbelievable! Still the best network to be on especially if you travel. I just purchased the iPhone 12 and 5G service is in most places. Tested the speed and it's FAST! This is the slow 5G too but much faster than 4G LTE. I don't think the faster 5G will be necessary for a cell phone but when available I'm hoping it replaces my home internet. Go Verizon it's worth a few bucks more. read more

They were very kind, accommodating, and they were able to fix problems that not even Verizon's customer service call line could! Joanna and her team are kind, efficient, and they went above and beyond to help my family and I with our phone problems. My wife and I went in to fix her phone, when we walked in we were greeted and told they would attend us. Shortly after another person walks in and the same person who greeted us greets her and then starts helping her right away. We sat down and waited then another person walks in and they are helped right away to start looking at phones. Now we are heated and then the lady that greeted us tells us we are next. We waited 20 min and then another Verizon employee finished with his customer and then walks over to the lady that is being helped and stays there with her just listening to the conversation. I know we didnt get helped because we were not buying a new phone and wasn't money for them. After being treated like this makes me want to cancel our 6 lines and go elsewhere. Went into store to pick up phone that I ordered online, should have been in and out, but waited 5 minutes before being acknowledged. They all had customers but when one was done he proceeded to go over and "shadow" another employee and had his face in his phone. That group left without purchasing anything then he finally asked if I've been helped. The reason I do most of this stuff online, customer service sucks, and Diego should be fired. Just short of useless We visited this store after the Verizon location near Dysart and I-10 was out of the phone model my wife and I were looking for. Having seen the large difference in customer service and technical ability, there is zero wondering "why?". The store that sent us asked us to visit the manager here, who would have everything set up. It wasn't. And he was too busy wandering around the store to bother, so we were assigned to a young lady. She had no idea what we were trying to do and we had to explain it a few times-- two iPhones, Verizon email offer for upgrade and discount, came from the Dysart and I-10 store because they didn't have inventory. Not sure why that made her feel off-put, but she came across as inconvenienced. Then, the comedy of errors... Said we wanted to move to the Edge plan to share data and for unlimited voice and messaging, along with a possible air card. She argued that we would be changing plans. Confirmed it was indeed our intent, unless Verizon would let us share the data from our grandfathered plans. Nope. Get an email on my phone that an order was put through. Said I didn't sign and that I expected to do it with the phone purchase and to review things together before the order was executed. Was told it had to be separate. Looked things over on the plan change and things seem to be fine. Onto purchasing two iPhones. She can't get the scanner to work. Hand enters the numbers and I make the comment that it's a lot of numbers to type into the system. "I have to," is the answer I get. Same thing for the second phone after she can't figure out how to scan that one, either. Look over the order and confirm, but cancel the air card order since she has taken so long and communicated so poorly. AND Neither phone cuts over on Christmas... She doesn't have it set up after all. I avoid her and this store. I visit Carlos, Josue, and the manager at the Dysart and I-10 Verizon store. They fix things. Sweet nutcrackers, these folks just about made us look for different Christmas gifts. They were so exceptionally difficult and aloof that I started to think AT&T or T-Mobile might be better. Briefly. After 15+ years with Verizon. In the end, I'm happy to say that the Verizon store at Dysart and I-10 turned things around for us. Will continue to avoid this location in favor of that one for as long as I live (in the area). read more

I have used Verizon for 12 years. Currently I pay for 4 lines of unlimitrf. I arrived at this store 45 minutes to an hour before closing to ask for advice about dual sim. They refused to take walk ins anymore and had very rude customer service and then as I was leaving, I told several customers walking up that they were no longer taking walk ins tonight and they said they were going to try anyways and two groups of walk ins were aloud inside after they had rejected me. I have had several poor experiences like this with Verizon and they have very poor customer service. I do not recommend Verizon and I am now looking to switch to a better company. read more

Couldn't not have gotten worse service. Went in ready to upgrade my galaxy 7 phone to the new 9+. So I'm asking questions and he says what color do you want. I said the purple one. He says ok let me see if we have it. This says to me that they have some just not sure on the color. He then says we don't have any or that one. I said well do you have any....he looks and says no we dont. So I say well can you cahvek another store. He goes over and is looking and says all stores are out. My husband says well how long have you been sold out? He says since yesterday. So tell me why he wasted my time by looking when he knew he was out. I went to your Verizon in Avondale it was about 12 o'clock I went and I sat down they greeted me I was there to 2 o'clock and that's when they help me the person that help me with the manager while I went in because my phone was dropping so he help me put it he put a Sim and I thought it was fine but when I got home it was still dropping when they went into your technical system I didn't understand it so now I have to go back to Verizon so somebody can help me to see what's going on according to the Apple I had to have another phone I don't have another phone it's one phone in the household well the other ones at work so I can't bother him I would appreciate it if I could go in there and somebody would help me I don't wanna be waiting 23 hours I want it done right away because of you you keep everybody there longer than they should be there the phone is the same way this is what you call customer service because it's not a no I don't have any anymore to say read more

Looking for recommendations for another carrier that works well in Southern California. I went into a Verizon store today to see how my account used 6GB of data in 4 days while hooked up to wifi. Found an old phone number still connected to my account and the data the current owner of that number was using was being attached to my account. Easy fix, they just don't fix those issues in store, so I spent 40 minutes on the phone with Verizon support while still standing in their retail store. The customer care rep deleted that old number but tells me they are not willing to credit me back the data they can see was used on that line. My only option is to upgrade, pay for more data so I have some left this month. WTF?! You can see someone stole the data, you cancelled it but won't credit me back? Time to leave. read more

Iv never felt like I gave been wheeled and dealed at any store where I am a loyal customer until I went with my grandparents to help them get there upgrade to this Verizon store. For one we were second in line to be helped and there was over 12 employees with about 8 of them standing around and talking with no one giving a care about the customers. The store representatives say they "cannot discuss 'billing issues' (which it was not a billing issue until I received inaccurate information from the store representatives) over the phone. I have been in twice in the last week, two employees, Abraham and Manuel were absolutely terrible. It is sad because you can see company policy that is solid, but these guys are not excited about it. The first time after a long talk with Manuel I took my mom home and got rid of any questions she had, Manuel left us with tons more questions then we walked in with. With Abraham I simply wanted to upgrade my phone and he was trying to change my service contract. It felt as if he was just trying to get me out.
