Got in touch with the shop and gave me a price of $285 + $90+ for shipping. I was shopping around and found a brand new one on eBay for $250 + $22.95 for shipping. This shop kept reaching out for status on purchase to a point where they were nagging me. After committing to a new one, the shop responded "thanks for wasting our time." This is unacceptable behavior and all they care is about closing a sale vs giving right customer service. Avoid this store as their are others out there that provide better service.

I've been going to your store for many years and I had referred a friend of mine to your store…read morebecause of your wide selection of rare and obscure toys and things that you carry that that the other shops do not carry my friend had quite a few items to trade in including some vintage Star Wars Beast Wars action figures and a few other odds and ends the associate asks my friend what he wants on his collection and my friend throws him an offer of 2 to $300 and so the associate goes in the back and either talks to his manager or the owner he proceeds to tell my friend that they can offer him under $100 for the stuff so they ended up negotiating for like $70 and the guy said well most of your figures are incomplete they don't have their accessories I really felt that the offer was too low even for a business knowing that they do have to make money so then I hear from my friend that the toy box posted and bragged about obtaining his collection on Facebook and that really put a sour taste in my mouth and the sad part was is he was going in and tending on trying to get store credit so he could purchase something they don't do that I've never heard of it but terribly disappointed with how they lowball people my friend had a lot of stuff and the one thing that they said was the most valuable they didn't even highlight it on Facebook I feel like this is wrong and I feel like they should have offered him something more at least a credit they should make this right but terribly disappointed

I like looking through the cheaper singles boxes and sifting through the selection and picking the ones I like. As someone who has just gotten back into collecting, it's fun seeing the variety of cards (modern and vintage) they have. Their singles are also priced fairly at market value - whenever I check Collectr or TCGplayer their prices are always equal and even sometimes a little under. The employees are always willing to help too. They also have sealed product at market price, but I usually stay away from those since market is a little too steep for me these days.

Finding the store is really easy, and there is a ton of parking. The store itself is pretty large and has a good variety of singles, slabs, and sealed product. They have a big range from the newest modern sets to vintage and everything in between. Today I had a gut feeling that I needed to go down and pay a visit to my favorite store. I was helped by a couple of employees I had never worked with before, and they were incredible. They were so kind and patient with all of the cards I wanted to look at, and I never felt rushed or like I was a burden to them. I found so many things that I wanted, and I even stayed after the store was closed, and even then, there was never any sense of urgency that I needed to leave. One thing that I really respect about this card shop is their pricing. For their singles, anytime I were to check pricing online, their prices were consistent with what was fair. Not once did I encounter cards that were grossly inflated, and above market. So I really appreciate the honesty and integrity in their pricing. Needless to say, I can't recommend the shop highly enough. If you're in the area or looking for a great shop to visit, this is the one!

They love their community and it shows. Their selection is mostly good just depending on what TCGs you're into. I would say their pokemon selection is probably their weakest, but, it seems like their mostly strive off of other TCG like MTG, etc. and them having pokemon is just them trying to broaden their selection for their customers who happen to be interested. I respect it. As far as value goes I think they are excellent. Their sealed product is often priced fairly in my experience. For example, most other LGS I've been to have riftbound spiritforge packs priced from $9+ while Orcs lair is about $6. which is market, as we know the market can change so this can to but this is a clear indication that they strive to be as fair as financially possible. They are also great when it comes to trade in, transparently their trade in percentage is low for my liking and they only offer in store credit, but for the size of the store and it being a single location honestly it makes sense. I can understand that especially when compared to the big popular LGS that offer similar trade in percentages. On top of that I have been offered on multiple occasions if I thought the trade in was fair and if I think they accurately assessed the condition of the card, on one occasion I did think they were offering me kinda low on a card and when I expressed that they looked into it a bit more and agreed and bumped it up. They are also the only LGS I have been to in this area that has told me that they're flexible on the sticker price reliant to TCG player. Overall, best most transparent and friendly store I have been to. Definitely my preferred store in the area. Pokémon, yugioh, magic the gathering, and so many more. It's definitely a small store. But it's almost as everyone knows each other at the weekly events. Their prices are good too! He was so disrespectful whether we were being judged because we didn't have the knowledge of some pen protector wearing patrons or due to the fact we were not there to play but sell. He snapped at us for asking a question so we just quietly watched waiting to be able to break away. At last he was done and we thought we lucked out only to be not greeted by a gentleman at the cash register only to be asked you do have an I.D. correct? Oh lord did these two get picked on in school and now take it out on anyone who doesn't look the part. We definitely will not go back and the cards we were gonna buy I would rather pay double then deal with two misfits with attitudes who judge their customers. We were in and out but there's so much to see as this store is much larger inside than it appears outside. Staff were friendly and explained the setup of the store upon entry. Located in downtown Glendale, it's easy to find, parking not so much on a busy day. If comics or mangas are your thing (or that of someone you care about), give this place a visit!
