I took my oldest out with me here for our first visit to purchase a gift card for his teacher and have him pick out something for his birthday, if there was anything. This store had a great selection and variety of merchandise and a dedicated area for table top games. This dedicated area does required a fee paid to access and staff can explain more if interested. The gentleman that help my child and I was so welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. In addition to purchasing the gift card, I also bought my child's first die set of his own. If you have someone who has strong interests in gaming - especially games like Dungeons and Dragons, Magic The Gathering, etc. - this is a great place to purchase gifts. I understand local game stores…read moreneed to make a profit, and I'm usually happy to support them, but seeing Pokémon 30th anniversary ETBs marked up to around 3X MSRP is excessive. Families already have a hard enough time finding Pokémon products at reasonable prices, and pricing them this far above retail makes it feel like the store is taking advantage of demand rather than supporting the local gaming community. I'd much rather spend my money at a shop that charges a reasonable premium and builds long-term customer loyalty. Unfortunately, based on the ETB pricing I saw, I won't be buying Pokémon products here.

When they finally opened, they were told that it was already full because the store allowed people to sign up in advance despite the event showing 0 applicants. They were told to sign up on the waiting list. They were selected to play in the tournament (which was supposed to secure a box of OP17) The store failed to uphold what their event said and then refused to sell my husband a box after allowing them both into the event. The manager specifically told my husband "we will not be selling you a box". The store was rude. I can't imagine coming all the way back here for a store that is run like this.

For the most part, the staff is pretty cool, except for one newish guy who generally seems too busy playing or talking to regulars to pay attention to new customers. Their single card prices aren't bad but the selection of value cards is usually pretty unimpressive. I want to play MTG as much as I can, I just don't really want to play there.

Got in touch with the shop and gave me a price of $285 + $90+ for shipping. I was shopping around and found a brand new one on eBay for $250 + $22.95 for shipping. This shop kept reaching out for status on purchase to a point where they were nagging me. After committing to a new one, the shop responded "thanks for wasting our time." This is unacceptable behavior and all they care is about closing a sale vs giving right customer service. Avoid this store as their are others out there that provide better service.

I've been going to your store for many years and I had referred a friend of mine to your store…read morebecause of your wide selection of rare and obscure toys and things that you carry that that the other shops do not carry my friend had quite a few items to trade in including some vintage Star Wars Beast Wars action figures and a few other odds and ends the associate asks my friend what he wants on his collection and my friend throws him an offer of 2 to $300 and so the associate goes in the back and either talks to his manager or the owner he proceeds to tell my friend that they can offer him under $100 for the stuff so they ended up negotiating for like $70 and the guy said well most of your figures are incomplete they don't have their accessories I really felt that the offer was too low even for a business knowing that they do have to make money so then I hear from my friend that the toy box posted and bragged about obtaining his collection on Facebook and that really put a sour taste in my mouth and the sad part was is he was going in and tending on trying to get store credit so he could purchase something they don't do that I've never heard of it but terribly disappointed with how they lowball people my friend had a lot of stuff and the one thing that they said was the most valuable they didn't even highlight it on Facebook I feel like this is wrong and I feel like they should have offered him something more at least a credit they should make this right but terribly disappointed
