I came here to find out about selling a jersey of mine actually too, but they did explain to me how to get them authenticated to prove they are legitimate, but the owner gave me a really hard time about coming in with my dog despite that he is a registered service dog non-dog just to keep you calm or social emotional support but in the actual ADA dog, he gave me a really really hard time so for that customer service gets a one he was not friendly actually most the staff wasn't friendly because obviously when I knew my rights, the owner got mad so they backed him up with his attitude. It is a nice door. They have some good selections obviously but will I return no just based off of the lack of customer service and friendliness I would not want to do business there. read more

I got interested in Football card collecting after my brother mentioned it in a group chat and showed the cards. He started talking about it and I realized how much it's changed...drastically in the last 30 years since I last collected. So I used Yelp to see what card shops were near me and found AZ Sports Cards. Went after work on a Tuesday in the last hour they are open. Place was fairly busy with a good half dozen people looking at stuff. Store is nice the way it's arranged and seems organized very well. I'll have to go here again earlier to really fully take it in. The lady helped me (I didn't catch her name but think it's an older couple that own the store). She was very friendly and helped explained some things and answered all my questions as I told her how I was returning to the hobby and how it's changed. She even took down boxes off the shelves to show me the differences in them! I ended up getting a hobby box of Panini Zenith cards. They were slightly marked up but hey they gotta make a profit too and she gave me 5% off. She gave me a free pack of baseball cards and I also bought some sleeves. Can't wait to go back again and spend more time poking around. Will be back for sure! Oh they have drawings too and she gave me a bunch of tickets for it from my purchase. read more

Owner not familiar with items that are 'on sale' on his sales floor. He claimed to have COA, turns out his signed items were a facsimile, he had no idea. Poor follow-up and negotiation, made me wait 2 weeks to tell me he could give me 5% off another item. I had to follow up 3x to get some closure. Poorly run and unknowledgeable. Take your business elsewhere and give it to someone who appreciates their customers. I was trying to give these people my business and they could care less. read more

Dont go to this place.....the Guy is a JOKE and rip off artist. We have been investigating his sales practices for 1 month. We have taken him all graded 10 cards from PSA TO BSSG all different days so he wouldn't notice. He tried to buy are cards at 80 - 90 % what they are worth. We sold all of our cards on EBAY for a minimum of 80% of what he offered. Every time he made an excuse about the grades....like hes a guru. He told us a PSA 10 Kobe Bryant Topps Rookie card was only worth $100. Brady Rookie car $75 lmao..... WOW.... This guy has no shame....will rip you off every time. DO NOT SHOP HERE , DO NOT TRY AND SELL YOUR CARDS HERE......HE IS A PIECE OF SHIT. read more

Had to stop by here to pick up a couple items and was pleasantly surprised of the amount of stuff this place has , It did have what I needed and just a plethora of other items you name it in sports they have it or know where you can get it. My husband stopped into the shop today and it looked very nicely laid out. The shop seems like they have quite a selection but I'm not a sports fan so I appreciated the seating by the front door instead of looking around. I used to love this store but recently have recieved terrible customer service. The lady that works in there always has an attitude and doesn't make you feel welcome. Never coming back again!!! It's bad enough the prices have sky rocketed but now you can't even enjoy going into your local shop without getting an attitude. I would suggest that the proprietor of AZ Sports Cards question who they let drive their company vehicles. We just experienced them weaving in and out of traffic and driving generally in a very unsafe manor. What a wonderful experience I just had with Don Drooker and owner John Gola! I brought my fathers vintage baseball and football cards to get valued and received a great education. I had researched values and how cards get rated and these gentlemen truly give honest valuations as well as fun stories to boot! This place is like the baseball store version of "Cheers"! I stopped by this shop on my day off to look around and see what they had inside and once I entered the store I was greeted and offered help but I did inform the owner that I was just looking but if I had questions I would ask. This was the best shopping experience ever cause the owner let me shop and look at the items without asking if I needed help every ten seconds (THANK GOD). I'm a Customer Service Executive for the banking industry and the service the owner gave me has made me remember that shop ever since and the owner was very friendly and also provided a story about a baseball bat that I would of never knew if I didn't ask what the difference in the bats are and once the owner heard that he had no problem sitting down and giving me the history and story of some of the bats and showed me how to spot a real game used bat versus a regular bat not used in a real MLB game. I just had to share this story with everyone looking for a nice clean shop that allows you to shop without someone on your back or trying to rip you off. read more
