Hands down the best customer service I have received since being a customer for 3 years. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the store, I had an appointment but checked in a little early. I love the app that shows how many people are head of you. First off, Pedro thank you for everything! I was having issues that were very frustrating and right off the bat, he listened and provided the best solution for me. He was helpful and explained everything that I would see on my upcoming bill. I was a new customer and just placed my order over the phone today. Although the online customer service was amazing, I can't say the same for this location. I went in to pick up my new phone and did not have my physical ID and they would not accept the one on the DMV app. After telling me they would hold my item for 3 days, it seems like they cancelled my order immediately after I left. It's now after business hours and my amazing deal that I signed up for is no longer available and half of my devices have been switched over already. He not only got me great upgrades on most of my devices, but managed to keep my bill at or about where it was, and upgrade my plan AND gave me extra security. Now that's what I call service. My girlfriend and I went in to find someone to help us with internet. No one greeted us as there were 6 people working on a Tuesday at 12, and yet 3 had to assist one person, and everyone else was too distracted to help. After about 10 minutes of hoping someone would at least check us in, no one looked our direction. Then multiple other people were helped and CHECKED IN behind us. My uncle works for these guys and I'm usually super impressed, but this was extremely aggravating and annoying that we just decided to leave once an additional 10 minutes had passed. We have been Verizon customers for 23 years. We went to the Palmilla location to see if they could be the slightest bit competitive with the offer we received from T Mobile. A Verizon employee named Joseline - who was condescending, uncaring, and extremely aloof - said she couldn't help us. While talking to us, she keep looking at her phone and seemed extremely annoyed that we even dared to ask if Verizon could offer us anything better than our current plan. Took a payment for a phone upgrade due to a completely broke phone, then stated it can take up to 24 hours to clear the account to then be able to even purchase a new phone. Waited 3 hours to be told I can't get a phone due to the lack of customer support options they can provide. They recommended I go buy a phone through Apple if I want a phone today. So I recommend to stay away and get a different service provider and do as the manager on shift even told me to go get a phone from a complete different store. This store is a joke. They activated a new phone and in doing so somehow unlinked my watch and phone and have spent 3 months trying to get it fixed. After multiple calls into Verizon, they cannot figure out what the store did. I go back into the store and after waiting an hour they said they dont do anything in regards to tech support. I had an appointment to fix an issue with my phone and FB account that occurred after I got a replacement phone. AJ was fantastic to work with. The store was especially busy because the previous day the air conditioning went out and the store was unexpectedly closed. She explained the situation and within 10 minutes was able to help me. She was courteous, checked to make sure everything was all set and even walked me to the door. Usually, when I visit a Verizon store they take my name and I wait, then I wait some more but not this time. Rolando greeted us right away and was very helpful with sorting out the best tablet and cell phone to purchase. Rolando was exceptionally knowledgeable throughout the upgrade process (which was unbelievable quick). Rolando went through all the plan options and coverages. What I appreciated about Rolando was that he was professional, and he didn't try to pressure me into making a purchase. I'd recommend anyone to this verizon store! Went back a two hour time to be told we were called as the 3 people left so we were dropped with no text. We were then put on slush with 5 ahead of us. Still waiting three hours now. Update Rose solved our problems and was v ry patient. ! I spent 6 days and a minimum of 20 hours attempting to set up an account. I was on hold for hours, hung up on, disconnected several times promised call backs thar never materialized and transferred so many times it was unbelievable. I was sent to several Verizon stores that were either unable or unwilling to help. Unfortunately Verizon is not the only carrier that has poor customer service and inefficient tech support. I found the same to be true with other carriers. I find it very difficult to understand so many of the tech support and suspect that the majority are off shore . read more

Employees weren't marked very clearly, I thought some of them were customers. So ... after assuming the store was so busy, it turns out several of them were actually just standing around talking to each other. I tried to catch their attention, but they kept giving the "I'm busy!" look. I finally stopped one guy who was in a rush to walk past me. Impressive and helpful staff Looking to buy a couple smartphones for Christmas, my wife and I stopped in this Verizon store for help. Carlos helped us as and impressive in his understanding of everything from devices to billing cycles to plan features. Some specifics: 1) I received an email about some discounts for the holidays. At first, the system said they couldn't be stacked. I watched Carlos try multiple ways of doing the order and he found a way to make it happen in the Verizon system. An average sales person would have given up. 2) When Carlos noticed we were one day away from our billing cycle, he recommended we come back the next day, in order to avoid a billing period charge for only one day of difference. 3) When the store didn't have the right models to sell, Carlos also gave up the order to staff at another store without a second thought, so long as we got what we needed. The sale went to a girl at the 99th & McDowell Verizon store. She was just short of helpless and actually made an error that caused us to have to return. 3) Wanting to avoid the manager and staff at the 99th & McDowell Verizon store because of their ineptness, we returned to the Dysart and I-10 store. Carlos noticed us in the busy gaggle of people, swung over to check, and apologized he couldn't help since he was with other customers, But, he and the manager got us connected with the service desk staff, who started working on fixing the problem created by the 99th & McDowell Verizon store. Our wait to be helped was about 15 minutes-- understandable given the post-Christmas crowd. 4) Josue and the manager decided to reissue us pins. Josue went through the process, made the hardware changes, tested multiple times on both phones to confirm, and kept things moving for us. This is the best experience I've had with a carrier, much less their store. They listen, are attentive, and communicate with you through the process. Most important, you get what you are looking for in the end while feeling you are a priority. If not for the crowd and (understandable) waits, I'd give them a perfect score. I've been to this VZ store 3 times. Twice, one of the managers (I think his name was Carl) was working near the front door greeting customers as they came in. He was extremely helpful and at tentative. When having to wait he would come back several times to update us on what place in line we were in and to acknowledge that he knew we were still waiting. During one of those two visits we had to leave to go to an appointment previously scheduled. I let him know and he was nice enough to suggest checking in with him when we return so we didn't have to wait too long. When we came back the next day, I didn't see him but someone was available to help us right away. The selection at this store is much better than at the smaller locations. Will definitely come back here if the need arises. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because 2 out of 3 visits I had to wait quite awhile. read more

The last time I called Verizon and they told me I needed to take my phone to the store to have them look at it. I said "I don't want to go to that store because the wait is so long" and he offered to call and see how long the wait was. He told me he called the store and was told there was no wait and to head right over there. I was standing in the store in less than 10 minutes and found that there was a 50 minute wait. Went here to upgrade device, which was eligible for an upgrade at a discounted rate, and we're falsely told we were ineligible for an upgrade, and the salesman tried to charge us full price. Promptly went to Verizon store on 101st Ave and McDowell, and were offered a $100 discount, plus no issues or problems. Saved $600. My husband phone froze and was unusable. We stopped there after work to see if they knew some tip/tricks to get it going again. The two employees in the store were very rude and condescending saying "have you tried powering it off"? They searched for my account information and spent a good 10 minutes making us jump through hoops to get multiple pieces of information for them. When she finally got into my account she said in a very snarky voice " your phone is no longer under warrantee. You can either get a new phone or if you have an old one at home you can use.." seriously?? The warrantee expired 1 week prior- anyway, I aske her if she had any suggestions on what might be wrong and how to fix the glitch. She said nope. Sorry. I am astonished that these people don't know anything about the phones and simple techniques of brainstorming but only know how to make you pay $1200 for a new phone. So that I did not have to wait in line unnecessarily I called ahead to determine if the device that I wanted was in stock. The automated message that I got instead of being able to talk to a person, said that the best way to determine if the item I want is in stock was to come in. Upon arriving the gentleman that checked me in asked me what I was there for, I told him I was there to get the device that I wanted, and I was specific about what specific device I wanted. He proceeded to check me in, giving me no indication that they were out of stock and would not be in stock for a while. After waiting for 20 minutes and still not having been seen I went and asked an employee if they had the device I was looking for. That employee proceeded to tell me that they were not in stock and that they would not be for a couple weeks. This was an absolute waste of my time and horrible customer service not just locally at the specific store but with the apparent standard operational procedures set by Verizon. read more
