This store is so hit and miss and today was a total miss! I wish I had the guy's name, but he missed a total opportunity. My son was interested in moving to his own account; and he didn't want to change his phone number, but he was willing to do so if the price was right. This gentleman wouldn't give us a single piece of information. He focused in on "not changing the phone number" and kept telling us we needed to call customer service and talk to them. Abril was very knowledgeable about the offers available to us because we have been long time Verizon customers. Obviously I would not know if there were issues till the following day. Well, right at noon the phone and network stopped working. We came into this store today to shop for Home Internet and POSSIBLY change our cellular to Verizon from T-Mobile. Edgar helped us, and was very polite and helpful. After I started my initial review, we ended up in decided to change our phone service back to Verizon after all! This is because Edgar told us about this fabulous promotion that Verizon has right now that allows you to get $500 credit per line if you bring your own phone for new phone service. So we're going to end up getting a $1000 rebate for signing up with them today. They also have a special that you can buy a $400 sound bar for a $100. So if if you're looking to change cell phone providers to Verizon, now's a good time to go check out all their specials. After my new phone wouldn't work they gave me a half @ssed quick fix that didn't fix anything, they said I had to delete all my videos and photos...sadly and reluctantly I did and it didn't help...hey can you get those back now that I emptied the trash? So when I go back to say no, this phone isn't working still- they got steel doors down and no one at work...now I can make appointments with some random person or a machine...a customer service rep said, well they don't like to entertain, they want appointments-yeah so do I!...but I can't make appointments with nobody who is actually there to verify that they are open...? My family and I share a plan. Every month we go in to pay each persons portion of the bill. It's a very simple act when it's done in person with a representative on the computer - takes 30 minutes tops 40 minutes. Never had any issues over the past nearly two decades. However, every dang time we come in here, they want us to pay on a machine. Today, the rep didn't understand when we laid out the details of how it works. We've been doing it like this for YeaRS. I've personally never had problems with Verizon reps. But this one store is the one I chronically have problems with and unfortunately it's also the closest. Grr! I know I'm not the only one who has a family that pays for each portion of the phone bill. Nor am I the only one who wishes to do it with a human being. But these guys always try to get us to do it on the machine first - even when I request a human representative. They offer to assist on the machine, and always end on the their tablet. Why can't they just listen to me in the first place? Save us the time and the hassle?! Do the same for yourself, find another store if all you wanna do is pay your bill in person. read more

Trying to do business with the Verizon Store at 91st Ave and Northern is a total waste of time. I went in to upgrade my iPhone and because I did not have my physical drivers license with me (I was on my way to the gym) they would not do any business with me. Never mind that I had my iPhone with me that had my verified phone number and Verizon app that proved that I was the account holder. Never mind that I had the State of Arizona certified driver's license app on my phone with my picture ID and both sides of my driver's license on it. Both the sales associate and the store manager refused to do anything to help me. Even though this store may be a privately-owned franchise, I filed a complaint with Verizon corporation. This location is no good. Which sucks cause all the other locations I tried were closed due to covid. You're not allowed in the store initially which I get but would even let me inside to talk about my issue more... The guy helping me wasnt really nice and immediately told me there was nothing he could do but gave me incorrect info about my phone so I didnt really trust what he had to say to begin with. There were plenty of people in the building standing around not sure why I couldn't have been brought in to see if anyone had any ideas or even if anyone knew my phone since this guy didnt.. This location i came to find out Is a third party. I have had a real nightmare dealing with my account. I returned 3 phones and they only reported 2. I have received a bill from Very for the 3rd phone and have talked to dozens of reps trying to resolve this issue. I'm not sure why this place is still in business. Remember, that since it's not a Verizon corporate store, you're automatically charged an extra set up fee. I would run from this place. read more

This is one of the worst Verizon stores to go to. My mother and I had initially walked into the store regarding a return and the man who checked us in, Edgar, put us on the waitlist with 4 people in front of us. Then Edgar walked to the back of the store and didn't come out until about 30-40 minutes later while this location was full of customers waiting to be helped. The store had about 6 workers on the floor and the whole time we were at the location sitting only two associates were helping customers while the other four was doing who knows what. After talking with other people also sitting down we heard from a lady they had been waiting about an hour to even talk to somebody. Furthermore after waiting the long hour and a half wait we were informed we could not do our return and wasted part of our Saturday. Thank you Verizon. read more

If you get this guy, then ask for someone else, unless you like that! (IMO, Ryan would be better suited working as a TSA Gov't Worker.) -Parking was convenient. -Wait time not too bad. -Located in the Target/Kohl's shopping center, near the car wash. -My third visit to this store (whenever I'm in the area), the service is not impressive at this location. -I always get matched up with a MEAN employee, while I observe the customer next to me being helped by a friendly employee! I went to this Verizon store and while Armando and Daniel could not personally fix the problem, they let me use one of their phones and they also communicated with the call center rep to get the problem fixed and my phone working again. To be honest most of these reviews sound like they wanted the world on a silver platter. That's just how it sounds. I went from ATT to Verizon without a problem. Mostly because I'm very familiar with electronics port over and I work in customer service. However there was a verizon rep that overheard me tell my wife we had gotten there before a gentlemen. He had the audacity to inform me a specific tone "he had an appointment brother" I didn't like that shit and I let him know. Other than that rep everything was smooth. I enjoyed the rep that was helping me. Really nice guy. The emailed receipt cut of his name but I'd recommend him specifically. read more

Switched today from AT&T to Verizon. As soon as my husband and I walked in we were asked if we could be helped. Freddy was person who helped us and he was phenomenal. He was super informative about the different types of services and phone deals. We had a lot of questions and he patiently answered all of them. He helped us sort through the different accessories for each of our new phones and once again answered all of our questions patiently, thoroughly, and always had a smile. So horrible. My phone got wet, so I went the other evening. I didn't have to wait long to speak to an employee. Unfortunately, when I described the problem and how I had attempted to fix it, the young man was not interested in talking about phones -- his stock in trade. He just shook his head and kept telling me that water damage can never be fixed. His least expensive non-smart-phone was $80. For the same $40 model, that I now know isn't made all that well. As soon as I refused to buy a new phone on the spot, he walked off. I recommend the location at Surprise Towne Center instead. I went there next. read more

Do not get Verizon Wireless!!!! This has been one of the worst experiences I've ever had. I switched 3 lines and got 3 phones from AT&T to Verizon. It took 30 days and it's still not right but I gave up. Right from the start there was mistakes. They cancelled my order because they didn't ask me for my driver's license. Then they told me to go to a store and verify it there. I did that but that went wrong so my order was still cancelled and I had to reorder the phones. Both calls were about 90 mins long. Then they sent me 6 phones instead of 3. Was told to go to Fed Ex and return the phones there. Fed Ex wouldn't give me a receipt so I didn't wanna leave them there. After 3 trips someone finally told me a corporate store would take them. The whole point of switching to Verizon was because the other carrier didnt work well in west Texas or Mexico. Verizon doesn't work well in Mexico either. The first phone transferred just fine but the 2nd had issues. Had to call Apple to get help. When I finally went to try their advice, Verizon had already activated the new phone and disabled the old one. I had to switch that phone back to AT&T. Finally decided to give up on saving the info on the 2nd phone and just move it back to Verizon. I spent 2 hrs on the phone to find out that neither the port dept nor the winback dept could fix my problem. In fact, they ordered another Sims card they wanted to piggy back to the original number. If you are confused, that's ok. Everyone else was. Waited 3 days and I installed the new Sims card. Spent another 2 hrs on the phone to find out they still couldn't get my phone working. They wanted to order another Sims card. Guess who finally fixed the problem? ME!!! I told the gal to put the original Sims card and let's try it that way. It freaking worked. The reason for all the other Sims cards is that they charge you for a line with every Sims card. Just a straight up scam. I'm my first month I got 1 phone working all the way, 1 worked for a week and 1 worked for a day. They still don't work properly but I spent over 10 hrs of my life with them and don't want to spend any more. I did take their phones so I'm stuck with them for 3 years. It's like doing time but I'll move to TMobile as soon as I can. They did immediately charge me $250 plus for this horrible month and they were on point with that. You would think they would give me my military discount since my driver's license they have on file says VETERAN but of course that's not possible either. I'm trying to pay this horrible bill but of course it's impossible to get to a person. I couldn't believe how bad their customer service training was but then realized they simply don't care. We need their services so they can do this all day every day and we are stuck. Definitely go with AT@T or TMobile. Even sone of the smaller carriers would be a better choice read more

Stephen helped me pick out a great new phone case, and applied a tempered glass screen protector, and I paid less than $100 (that includes the $30 upgrade fee). The first time I was sold a 'packaged deal' that I thought was such a good deal until I got home and realized how much of a fool I was to spend an additional $100+ on things I didn't really need! Don't let them up charge you on anything unless you really want to buy overpriced phone cases, screen protectors, and Bluetooth speakers. I have 25 business lines with Verizon. Not that it matters much but you'd think when I want to purchase four phones off the shelf they'd try and assist with that. Of the three times I've attempted to go into this store all have been a disaster. The first two times they rolled down their metal curtains and locked the door before closing time at 7PM. Today, I got there at 6:45 and let the sales person know that I just wanted to buy some phones and take them with me to activate later. I was told they were only accepting appointments due to being understaffed and they said they couldn't help me. So I asked to make an appointment for tomorrow in which he told me "we're booked tomorrow." As I questioned that he told me they only accept one appointment every hour. Lol...what? But if I wanted to walk in I could. That's literally what I was doing today....WALKING IN TO GET MORE PHONES but was told "nope." Tell me why I'd do that again....? This Verizon Wireless location specifically has no customer service skills at all whatsoever!! They'll just try to get you in a contract and while doing it lie about everything in the process. They gave me so called "free Verizon hum product" as a gift and promised no additional charges or extra lines lol ha that was a lie....I've been trying for the past 4 months to fix this issue but now they say they can't....rude!! No customers service!! Helpful, not!!! We have went to this store for years, when did they hire such unprofessional people! The only person there that helped us was great . As we waited we heard customers talked about , watched a customer get hit in by a guy with a beard and bun thing in his hair, he also treated one of the staff members so wrong in front of us. He threatened her many times it got very old. The guy we worked with I have no clue who he was he had a tie and nice shirt on and also was clean cut , new hair cut smelled good very professional but the rest made us want to leave. I'm not sure if he is a manager or what but he needs some schooling . We will be using a different location from now on. read more
