Crepe Café is a nice, cozy place to relax and enjoy a meal or coffee. Their Cortado is strong, rich, and full of flavor--definitely a great choice if you like a proper coffee. I highly recommend the tuna croissant sandwich. It was fresh, delicious, and one of my favorite items on the menu. The waffles are also very good, especially when they're served fresh and hot. The only thing I wasn't impressed with was the crepes. They were a little undercooked for my taste, so the texture wasn't quite right. We had a couple hours to burn this past weekend so what better way than grabbing a quick bite to eat before walking around a mall? Enter Crepe Cafe. I ordered the Cafe Special, a type of crepe loaded with cream and adorned by various fruits and Nutella. It was fairly pricy but delicious all the same. If you like sweet, this menu offering will do the trick. For the cost, I could've used a bit more food (you only receive a single crepe with your order). The presentation of my food was appealing. However, the server placed the crepe atop a piece of tissue paper on the plate. While eating, this tissue paper was a distraction and I ended up cutting through it multiple times. Crepe Cafe isn't a standalone restaurant but rather a kiosk in the mall (just look for the scale-accurate red whales hovering from above if you're lost). While I can't expect extraordinary ambiance owing to this place's location, cleanliness should be a given. One of the tables I wanted to sit at was visibly dirty. A different high-top had a pair of gloves (without a human owner) atop it. Overall, Crepe Cafe was a nice (if unexpected) treat to find. This spot is located in the fashion outlets of Chicago. They are right by the concierge. I got a classic crepe and mango smoothie. Both items tasted delicious. The smoothie was made first and pretty quickly. The crepe shortly after. Both tasted amazing! The place can get crowded quickly and have some seating available. I've been and eating here before usually I get their crates that's why they're called crepe Cafe. This time I tried their French toast and it was just okay I had the caramel apple which was weird because they put a lot more Nutella then caramel on Apple and I didn't think that was a good combination if I wanted blueberries or banana that would be a good combination for Apple also they use whipped cream and I would have thought when they made the French toast they would have fried it but I guess it wasn't what I thought they would do in mind like going to a breakfast place when they make French toast and somehow put scrambled egg and content confection sugar. I'm back. There's nothing wrong with there crepe as matter of fact it is exactly what they advertise. Problem is I had my heart set on the plain crepe with butter and sugar but no butter today I got the Oreo instead. The cream is condensed milk and there's too much sugar in here that you don't really taste the crepes anymore. I tell you though it looks really pretty. I had high hopes for a delicious hot chocolate to go. After all, this kiosk is right outside the Lindt store. What a disappointment! It tasted like chocolate-flavored hot water! There was practically no chocolate taste at all. It was also treacherously hot, so I was halfway home in the car before I even dared to taste it. And yes, when I got home, I took off the lid & stirred it in case the chocolate had settled. Nope, still tasteless. Very cute lil spot nestled in the outlet mall. Good eats but a bit pricey for mall food in my opinion. Spent nearly $20 on one crepe and a coffee. The menu prices were a little off even though it is listed right by the register. I got a Berry Whip Crepe that was listed as $9.95 but ended up being $10.95 after i got the receipt. Also got an iced mocha. The mocha was very strong and not much mocha-y considering all the syrup was stuck to the bottom. Overall a cute spot for the ambiance but youd probably get a better meal and deal out of the actual food court. read more

Went shopping on holidays to Fashion outlets. Stoped here for quick bite. Fast service your crepes are done in less than 3-5 min, good coffee, food was amazing got myself their special for $8.25. Don't remember how it was called exactly but it is number one in the crepes menu. This kinda became rule for me: if you are not sure what to order get #1. Also they got plugs under each table, we set there for awhile charging phones. Bad things you are in the middle of the mall so its really noisy and it was a little pricey for such small portion. She ordered a waffle, but they started making a crepe. My friend asked why they started making that, because that's not what she ordered. However, this place was pretty bland and they ran out of 2 key ingredients on the crepe I ordered (walnuts and lemon sauce). We bought 4 different kinds of crêpes. They all exceeded expectation and were delicious. The staff were friendly and had speedy service. The only improvement i would recommended is having more tables and chairs. Since it is in the middle of the shopping mall lots of people occupy the tables without buying anything.
