It's a medium roast with notes of Chocolate, almond and fruit. It arrives in very good and sturdy packaging! We popped in for a sweet treat and noticed how bustling it was so we happily used the self service kiosk to place our order it was super convenient. We ended up grabbing a selection of six doughnuts to try and while they all looked tempting the chocolate pockets filled with Nutella were an absolute standout. They were incredibly soft and fluffy with a flavor that was just divine. Seriously, those were a highlight. To go with our pastries, I also got a mocha frappe, which was really delicious and hit the spot perfectly. We also wanted to mention that the whole place looked so inviting and spotless inside. I was going to this location for some time. It is on my way to and from work...I was usually there with someone else..I was there 3 to 5 times a week..I would spend over $20 on two drinks and a few doughnut options...I was spending an average of about $350 a month at this location...And it is time to move on down the road to Starbucks on Manheim...The service here is very inconsistent...And below grade most of the time... I went there in the afternoon of around 6/24..I ordered two large drinks..It was also verified on a label on the drinks that said, 24ounces...I was given a smaller drink..So I went up to the girl that rang me up..And I told her,, these are not a size large. I paid for a large...She said that they are a large...I told her I drank a 100 of them here. This is not a large, and you can grab a large glass and put it next to these to show you that they are not the right size ..She still argued and said that was a 24 oz glass...I mean the dumb ass works there..And does not know it's a small..She looked at the label on my cup,,and said, See that is a large because the label said it is a 24 oz...I said..That is what I paid for..That is not what I got... She was a complete moron...I left...I skipped the place for over a week. And made the mistake of going back there today...I was with someone else..And we both asked that the two drinks we ordered be made with about 20/30% less sweetener...We have asked for our drinks to be made like this 50 times in the past..And they add less powder or base..Bottom line the drinks were always made less sweet and were to our satisfaction... Well today they somehow seemed to be made even extra sweet..Not less sugar..But more...It seemed more was added...We threw them out..And went to Starbucks...There is very cool hard working black gentleman that is here most of the time.. If he is there every thing is always right... The store is cute, clean and comfortable. The employees were friendly and the prices pretty reasonable by today's standards. We ordered the bacon and egg sandwich on an everything bagel. The bagel was very good. They say they get their bagels from Steingolds Bagels. The egg was pulled from a wrapped premade square scrambled egg. No better than one from a Mc muffin. The bacon tasted a lot like pre cooked hormel bacon. So other than a quality bagel the rest was standard Sysco. The bagel also could have used some butter or cream cheese. On the other hand we also got the Stans version of a Cronut. That was very good. I don't know what to compare it to since I've never had an original one. I'd probably stick to the donuts and coffee. Stopped in 2 times on a Saturday morning and both times were very busy. I waited in line(In store) for 1 drink for 20 minutes. The second time I went through drive thru, moves much quicker than inside but was still in line for 10 minutes. Both times I've asked for light ice, they clearly heard me as it's on the order on my cup, but they still scooped and filled the cup with ice... I tried to stop in this past Sunday morning and the line was 10 people long, they were basically out of their specialty donuts by 10:45 AM. This is an amazing Stan's location! I generally visit a Stan's spot inside my Mariano's because it's just around the corner from the house and I can enjoy a donut with my errand and back home quickly. I saw on social media that Stan's was doing a special orange donut on 10/3 for the release of The Life of a Showgirl and then quickly saw in the comments it was only the free standing locations. This location was the closest to me and so I planned the trip for Friday morning. There is plenty of parking in a very easily navigated parking lot. This location also has a cute patio with seats outside. Walking in the store is brightly lit and very clean. There are booth seats with little tables against the right wall and the windows make the store really inviting. My favorite part about visiting the standalone store compared to the Mariano's store was that there seemed to be so many more donut choices! They had a huge tray of the TLOAS donut that I had stopped in for (and to think I had been worried they would be sold out before I could get there!), but they also had so many flavors of other donuts. The person who helped me was so nice about stopping in for the Taylor Swift donut and commented on my orange shirt for the occasion. I picked out half a dozen donuts total and slid down to the register to order a drink. I was going to order a lemonade and he offered flavor options. Because I saw the refreshers had caffeine in them, I asked if the flavors themselves had the caffeine and he said no, but also that they could make any of the refreshers without caffeine! I didn't know this but was so excited. I ordered the prickly pear refresher sans caffeine and paid. This is a great spot to swing by for a donut or a coffee, and I can't sing enough praises about the quality of the donuts. They are so fresh, they're huge, and with fun and interesting flavors! I enjoy visiting Stans Donuts in Rosemont, Illinois. The two young women, who are twins, working there are the most caring and loving staff I've ever seen at Stan's Donuts in Rosemont. However, recently, the young lady whose name I can't disclose, who manages the drive-thru and the front cashier, is about 4'5" tall, Asian, with long hair, and usually works early weekend mornings--has been extremely discourteous and outright rude. She consistently talks down to me. I understand they serve hundreds of customers, and it can be overwhelming, but there's no excuse for that behavior; it spoils the entire experience. Stan's is a great local coffee shop and bakery. The few times I visited, my latte was consistently almost scaldingly hot. My oatmilk hazelnut latte was more flavorful than the regular caramel latte but both were good. The blueberry cake donut was fresh and the regular glazed donut was fluffy and had a nice crackle to the glaze when split apart for eating. They were both tremendously sugary, as to be expected. The hashbrowns were slightly greasy but well shaped and the breakfast sandwich was proportioned and cooked to perfection. The inside has a kiosk which helps reduce wait time especially on a weekend but it did not seem to have any advantage to shortening the wait time for the food. I like supporting local more than international chain coffee shops and will recommend for anyone visiting the area. read more

I tried to pre-order this morning and for some reason the website was not allowing me to order for today they kept pushing me back to tomorrow. Before the pandemic lock-down, I worked in an office daily. Infrequently, someone would bring in donuts. I would try to resist the calories by reminding myself I am thinking of the best donut I ever had. Ultimately, I'm disappointed as the donut in front of me will not meet up to my memories. One day, someone brought in Stan's Donuts. I never heard of Stan's. Opening the box, there was a variety of donuts, but what caught my eye was the double chocolate old-fashioned. That looked really good. When I got back to my desk with half the donut, I bit into it . My mouth was flooded with an intense chocolate flavor; it was semisweet chocolate. A second wave of a different chocolate washed over my past when I tasted the chocolate cake. During that initial bite of my first Stan's Donut, I realized this is the best donut I have ever had; all other donuts will be measured against this donut. Today, we stopped by Stan's Donuts in Rosemount after a Friday night dinner for dessert. We each ordered a pastry. I of course went with the double chocolate old-fashioned, others ordered the pistachio old-fashioned, the spinach and feta croissant, and the "Cruffin" (a buttery, flakey croissant stuffed with vanilla pastry cream, and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar). Everyone shared their selection. For me, my double chocolate old-fashioned was the clear winner, but the Cruffin was a close second. The staff was friendly and efficient. I also had the hazelnut cold foam cold brew, which I don't think I would recommend. It was okay to drink, but a bit more bitter than I expected from a cold brew. Lovely donuts! We stumbled upon this Stan's donuts by accident, drawn in by the giant pink inflatable sprinkle donut. It was mesmerizing, larger than my car. And then there was the shining case of colorful donuts. The super friendly and convincing servers who caused our initial order of 2 donuts to swell to a box of 6, all delicious from the pistachio iced old fashion (green!!) to the Bischoff. They (the donuts) were all super sweet and the old fashioned, very dense. Great with coffee (with all transparency, we had already purchased coffee elsewhere, so I cannot attest to Stan's coffee). Went to Stan's Donuts today to meet up with a friend to catch up. I've had these donuts before and absolutely love them. Stan's donuts are a different experience than other well known donut companies. They have a crisp fresh taste that other donuts don't provide, that I've tried before. Each donut has a slight crunch on the outside, but a soft inside. Hot or cold coffee compliments the experience, which is highly recommended to try. I ordered a half dozen and a mini set via grubhub. I was incredibly disappointed by two things. First, my half dozen box was not sealed and my 3 mini donuts were just hanging out in a bag. They could have been dropped and put back in or licked for all I know. Second, their website didn't have nearly all the options I would have liked and still they substituted the ones I did order! My family & I came in the other day for some coffee, tea, and donuts and they were insanely good. My girlfriend, mom, and Aunt loved the coffees they got. I fell in love with the Strawberry Peach refresher! This thing is so damn sweet, so good, and soooo addicting lol! Also, the service was amazing. Wow, I came with my family on Memorial Day and was happy to find that they were open, but they also got wiped out! The only donut options they had left were fresh batches of old fashion, glazed, and chocolate glazed, so we ordered those. They were so soft yet with the perfect crunch on the outside.
