Darling family owned cafe. After talking over what sort of coffee drinks I usually like, I went with the Spanish Latte and it certainly hit the mark. I got it with oat milk and overall it was just the flavor profile I like - you can taste the coffee, but it is more sweet than bitter, and the cinnamon adds further complexity to the drink. Service at the counter was helpful and friendly. I visited in the middle of a weekday and got my drink pretty quickly. There are two larger cafe tables at the front near the windows and a line of smaller tables along the side wall. At the back of the cafe there is a convenience store area with snacks and some refrigerated items, included pasture-raised eggs. Next time we visit, maybe we'll try one of the sweets, like an almond croissant or the fruit mousse.

16oz cappuccino and some tasty, ethnic donut holes that I forgot the name of! Highly recommend!

No affiliation. The residence of Des Plaines have been waiting for a café to open for too long! I'm very glad Ali And his family have finally opened! I ordered a large cappuccino which had 4 shots of espresso and it was 16oz!!! You don't see this anywhere! Coffee was fresh, delicious and foam was on point! I also tried the little donuts holes, I forgot the name but they melted in my mouth! They have lots of options that are baked locally. Everything looks unique and intriguing, I will be back to try it all!! Most importantly it feels good to see the owner behind the counter and to support small local businesses! Don't walk, run to Milan cafe right now and bring your friends! There are tables and chairs inside to sit and drink your coffee...I hope they have outdoor seating in the summer! Best of luck to you Ali!

First time visiting there, I ordered a hot & iced latte, both were delicious/perfect temperature! and the initial service was great. I was assisted by a woman and there was a man preparing the drinks. I sat waiting for my coffees, all of a sudden we heard the man getting agitated talking to the lady in front of 6 people that were at the establishment, then the man angrily walked out of the place throwing a tantrum. Other than that, the coffee is great, they have a big menu & some amazing looking pastries, so I give it 5 stars for the coffee!

The pastries were great. The coffee was unique and tasted amazing. They are currently doing renovations, but it doesn't really impede anything. I really hope they stick around--it's a really good place to sit down and relax. And the owner royson was super nice and they had these editable chocolate cups with cream with different flavors.

Love this new coffee shop! We tried the pistachio latte and the banana cream matcha latte which were delicious with oat milk. Took home a slice of Dubai chocolate cheesecake which was yummy. Owners were super nice! Will definitely be back!

RUN and get the Biscoff Latte The owners are very nice and the coffee is great! They have some tables to sit and drink your coffee or enjoy a yummy dessert and there is also a vast assortment of snacks and cold drinks. Will definitely be goin

Excellent new coffee place in Des Plaines! Such a pleasant staff--willing to customize drinks while you enjoy a cake pop or a home-made pastry. Very quick and very tasty. I had the pistachio latte--option to have actual pistachios crumbled on top. I also eyed the Spanish latte and the Date Shaken Espresso. Welcome to Des Plaines!!!

Pistachio mouse in a delicious chocolate cup

We stopped by today and will be back soon! I had a hot tiramisu latte, and my wife had a (non-alcoholic) piña colada drink. We also had a white cake with fruit and a pistachio mouse in a chocolate tea cup - both were delicious. Can't wait to go back to try another unique latte (I loved my tiramisu latte so much it will be hard to try something different). The staff was also extremely friendly and welcoming. Will most certainly visit again soon.

They're delicious berry refresher, and I added a boost of caffeine.

** Kind Service ** ** Clean Store **…read more 7-Eleven is probably one of the most consistent stores you can go to. They have all the essentials for a quick stop shop. I have been coming to this location consistently for years and I have to say they have never given me a reason to not come back. They stay fully stocked with all of my favourites, pastatios, I'm a big fan... and I'm always greeted when I come in, which is key for me. It's the simple things that I enjoy when out and about and they have it here.

These bastardios namely sweat pants muz himself at this 7-11 kept me in the ostrich box for 46 min…read morethe other day for trying to escape with a pornographic magazine without paying. I cannot believe these sickos own one. What is an ostrich box you say??? The ostrich box. History: Typical found in eastern asain cultures to extract the truth or information from tight lipped traitors and Infadels. For some reason In the past 30 years the asains have REALLY enjoyed using this on the Arab community. Description: The actual ostrich box is 20 feet wide, 20 feet deep and 6 feet high and filled with testosterone fueled ostriches. There is a small 3in diameter circular hole on top of the box with leg shackles. The ostrich he's are injected every hour on the hour with crack cocaine and creatine mix and then given only cheese for weeks to further their rage. The very top of Method: The prisoner is fed nothing but beef and curds for 16 days prior to being placed on the box. Also 16 days prior his scrotum is stretched to the extreme with a series of metal rings. He is dragged from his cell and is forced to strap himself onto the top of the box. Guards shuttle him along with cattle prods. Before the prisoner is locked in place a FULL bottle of Prego meat sauce with meat is poured into the prisoners lap and slathers the prisoners lap and dangling stretched ball sack. The smell of the sauce send the ostriches into hightened hysterics. At this point the prisoner realizes why the diet of beef and curds and why the stretching of the scrotum and begins to panic. Then the terrible bell of high noon chimes and the ostriches are released. Starving and confused the ostriches smell the delicious prego and curds but see only this small useless dangling hunk of meat. More infuriated than anything they begin to peck and tear at (in their eyes) a useless taunt by their captors. Result: All that is needed for a confession is 10-15 min. The prisoner is gently lifted off of the box and his mangled sack is carefully placed on ice. The blood screams of the victim and the heavy quacks of the male ostrich hoard is enough for the whole prison to confess typically. When the prisoner just won't break: There are rare instances when the prisoner simply will not break. Typically members of the feared Akuza criminal group OR for some odd reason cup cake bakers. They are placed in a white room with one of the three white Male ostriches. The prisoner will be extremely tender in the scrotum and buttock area from the earlier enraged pecking so it is KEY to levatate them using straps. They will not notice the ostrich typically until it has already descended upon them. It is the razor sharp talons that extract the truth. Only a true maniac would use this method as the albino male ostrich is almost impossible to satiate blood lust so the trainer is almost always gored in his/her belly during training.

It's an ok store and the employees have all been fine.  Every now and then they forget to crop the edge of the photo paper so I always check my orders before leaving.  All Walgreens have a great Senior's Day promo (for age 55+) which is 20% off on everything (except food and liquor) on the first Tuesday of every month.   That's a good once-per-month deal.   I've found the lines can come and go in waves here.  An Indian lady named Roshni is often the cashier up front when I visit and she is quite courteous and efficient.  We don't usually buy anything here unless it's an emergency or it's on sale as their prices are generally highish.  I haven't used the pharmacy much as we use mail order but when we have it's been a routine experience.   I haven't used their pharmacy drive through.   Their parking lot is convenient and is located by a light so it's a quick and safe exit back out to Miner St.  Walgreens is going private so we'll see what if anything that means for us consumers in the upcoming months.

With 3 people behind the counter and several customers waiting they showed no interest in taking care of customers and would rather stock shelves then tend to people that were there. That was before.
