I found out about Clean Juice through GrubHub when I was looking for açaí near me! I ordered for pickup and my order was ready when I arrived (less than 15 minutes). I ordered The Peanut Butter Bowl with Almond Butter Drizzle. $13.95+tax/tip. May be pricey but I thought it was a pretty good size and kept me full. The base was made with bananas, peanut butter, maca root, almond milk, and maple syrup. I liked the combination of the crunchy granola and cacao toppings with the smooth banana base. Although my banana toppings were a bit too overripe and almost mushy imo. Other than that I enjoyed my bowl! There is plenty of parking and they even have outdoor seating for the warmer months. My bf ordered the Cali Wrap and really enjoyed how fresh the ingredients were. The wrap was pretty small for the price. I ordered the "Glow One" juice which was very refreshing. If you don't like celery juice, I wouldn't recommend ordering it because the celery in this is very overpowering (which I didn't mind). We bought the red juice (8 oz) to go. Clean Juice is a nice juice option if you're in the mood to be healthy. I really like that they have a prayer jar. It's a jar where you can write a request in a small card and drop it in. At the time we went, the prayer jar was pretty full, and there was a sign next to it that said that all requests up to June 30th have been prayed for (the date we went was August.... so they are slightly behind). In either case, I really like the idea. They have a lot of items in the menu, from smoothies, to acai bowls. Note, if you have a nut allergy like I do, it'll be hard to find something that didn't have almond milk in it, but the people are SUPER nice and said almond milk can be omitted. They also have an allergy card that showcased which items had tree nuts or not. I ended up ordering the "The Slushie One" which consisted of organic strawberries, pineapple, and Coconut Water. It had a slight tart, which I don't mind, because it tells me they don't have a lot of sugar to their drinks (assuming so). The overall vibe of this place, although I believe is a chain, is small-business, and they strive to be healthy. This is the closest healthy, organic smoothie business in our neighborhood and it's nice to have around. It's in the same strip mall as (actually right next to) the popular Lou Malnati's carryout store and Don Juan's Cantina. The prices are on high side, but they're the same as all the other healthy organic juice shops out there - that's just what this stuff costs. They offer an assortment of organic smoothies, acai bowls, wraps, and sandwiches. My young lady attendant was friendly. I picked up a 24 oz The Healthy Heart One avocado based smoothie for the wife - $11.95, and it was delectable and healthy! Discovered Clean Juice today! I had the coffee Smoothie and it was delicious. It's amazing when you find a USDA organic spot free of pesticides. I have an autoimmune and it's hard to find a place where I can know everything that's in my food or drink. The place was very clean and they had fast service. Leaving 2 stars because I have a mixed experience here. Every other time I order from here everything is great. Then the next time it stinks. For the amount of money they charge they should be serving consistently prepared food. The protein toast sometimes has like 1/3 of the ingredients on that it should. Today my peanut butter toast barley had any bananas, the bananas were old and they looked like they were cut by my 2 year old. Presentation is half the battle with this type of food, make it look pretty and I will like it better even if it tastes mediocre. They also gave me the wrong order today. Very good smoothies, wraps and toasts are OK. I prefer more seasoning and spices on my food, like some red pepper flakes on my avocado toast or more than just salt and pepper. The food is good, but wait time is pretty poor if you're ordering anything other than juices alone, and even that takes a bit. I understand they have to blend everything from frozen otherwise, but it took over 20 min for me to get a toast and a smoothie with one guy in front of me. I would recommend Clean Juice, but only for pick-up so that you can order ahead and not have to wait in restaurant for your food. read more

The service here was not acceptable at all. My girl and I went up in there for the first time & spent 27$ and some change on a açaí bowl and 16oz smoothie. When we received the items the açaí bowl tasted like sour metal and the smoothie tasted like blended broccoli. As this may be acceptable and expected to others, it was not for me at all. I kindly told the woman who made it for me that it is not them or her but the items that were unsatisfactory especially for the price and she was very kind but had to relay this to the "manager" for resolution after I requested a refund being that I understand what type of place this place is. A very healthy, no sugar added, type of cafe. Which is not what I expected nor wanted. When the "manager" came out he has holes in his shirt and looked like he just wrestled a wild hyena before getting to his shift And had a very dry personality and customer service resolution skills. He gave us 2 " the next item is on us" cards and we were disappointed we couldn't just get our $ back being that we didn't really want to roll the dice with another selection since we ordered what already stood out to us the first time. We took the cards happily and went and made new selections in the car parked directly outside of the cafe. Considering we spent almost 28$ we brainstormed a selection that would equal around what we originally spent to get the equal value exchange. We came up with an avacado toast & 2 kid size smoothies that equaled 21$ and some change. Still being shy 6ish dollars but didn't even make it an issue. We thought that was fair. Once we got into the cafe to put the new order through we were being told we owe 15$ because the 2 cards only covered 2 of the 3 items. While we understand and are competent of what the cards say, it is logical and buisness ethical to go about the situation as we were handling it. We weren't expecting anything more than what we spent as an equal exchange and still at that, it was lowballed compared to what we spent. Alex gave us such a hard time going back and forth with us about how though our solution and logic makes sense (to receive equal value exchange of goods for what we spent) he can only give us 2 items per what the card he gave us stated. LOL Any way, totally horrible customer service he just kept going back and forth with first time customers who gladly spend almost 30$ on 2 items , in exchange for a 7$ kid size smoothie and a 9$ 1 slice of avocado toast. All we were trying to get was 1 more kid size smoothie ...the total was literally under 22$ but Alex "has rules to follow"...I'm sure any good buisness owner/person wouldn't see a problem in the resolution we presented or how we went about all this but OK Alex ! read more

This Place is TRULY the BEST so obsessed with it ! I live in Darien and when that Clean Juice closed couldn't tell you how upset I was about it because I just truly love it and live off the Coffee Smoothie and Chocolate Smoothie there ! Of course I'm also giving a very high review as I was an Employee and also worked at the Clean Juice in Darien CT as a Juicerista and absolutely loved loved loved my job there ! All the staff I worked with my assistant manager and GM were fantastic there and could g have asked for a better time am to work with ! Clean Juice is my dream come true place when it comes to my smoothies ! Of course my top smoothies there are the Coffee one and Chocolate one those are the ones I always get but also love love love the Immunity 2.0 juice there as well ! Couldn't be anymore thrilled with Clean Juice and couldn't have been lucky enough to work and be an employee at one of the ones in Connecticut ! Another favorite of mine there was the Longevity I could also live off that one in a heartbeat !
